I have a business not very far from this one and for the last 5 years I've been going here for one item or another and the employees seem quite friendly.. An added plus is the occasional acoustic guitar player, sometimes w a singer. It's a nice surprise to walk into a convenience store and hear live music for a few minutes..

Jimmy is a really nice person and a great sells man. You will find everything in Jims Food. I really recommend this place to the people in Cedar Rapids especially for best price in liquor and beers.

Great place for munchie foods beverages non alcoholic as well as the alcohol varieties see through ceramic ware lighters and cheaper prices for cigarettes. The knick knacks and knives are totally gnarly just please stop knocking the "incense oil burners" on the counter to prove their durability... They can only do that so many times. I don't want those times to be from you selling me one that I'm already buying. Haha just playin' you're cool.

Not only a convenience store, bút also a smoke shop and a head shop which has quite a variety of smoking utensils that not too many shops carry anymore. Some pieces even I couldn't remember what they were used for. But I've been out of that loop for at least 17 years or so. 😉😉😆 But a day without weed is like,,, just kidding, I have no idea.

Went in to buy some merchandise, and they tried to give me something else…when I paid for the merchandise I didn’t watch him bag it and got home only to find out he switched it with a different item that was cracked!!! Tried to get my money back but they refused!!! Scammers!!!

I live in Marion and I go to Jim's Foods at least four or five times a week. I absolutely love it when I walk in and I always get a friendly smile from either the owner, his wife or one of his family members that work there. They always joke around with me which in turn makes my day. When I hadn't been in for a while and finally did go in they asked me if I was okay and how I had been. It is nice to know that my face is recognized by their employees in such a busy store. They have a lot of fun novelty items that are cool to look at.

Jim's food is basically a small little grocery store with fantastic prices on liquor and beer including Pop of course. When they say they have the cheapest liquor prices in town they mean it. It may seem a little rough on the outside but it's worth the stop the neighbors are friendly as well as the workers and staff. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that might be just passing by or need to go get some groceries

First time entering this establishment in 20 years and wasn't impressed. Place has the feel of a novelty pawn shop. Unlimited amounts of junk for sale. The sand flea at the alcohol counter had the demeanor of a used car salesman. He relentessly tried to sell me deals on booze that weren't deals. Products are overpriced. I was quickly reminded why I had avoided this landfill for so long.

Place is dirty overpriced and people are commonly shaken down when they're sitting in their car waiting for a customer to come out to give a ride to to go home owner not so friendly I would not recommend this place too many people have been robbed or shot

Very clean, lots of choices to choose from depending on product. Big supplier of vape and nicotine products and bling bling items. The smell of weed does sometimes smack you in the face when u open the door but Jimmy (owner) is a pretty nice and fair man. The clientele is a little to be desired but thats a given.

This guys are dope. They hooked me up with a small bottle of fireball on my 21st birthday. They also have reasonable prices. Wide selection of liquor, cigarettes and vapes which is pretty neat.

They stole my money as well as other peoples money. They have a device that copies and saves your debit and credit card information and charge it when they please. I’m getting the police involved so PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE SHOPPING THERE!!!!

I have went to Jim's food sense it opened. On more than one occasion the price posted was NOT THE PRICE THEY CHANGED.I asked more than once why? I was told they had NOT taken the sale price dowm yet and charged me a couple dollars more. ?? That sign was in the WINDOW for at least a year!! If you don't check the price they charge you get charged too much. I have told them i want my money back. I was told they CAN'T DO IT because it is on a charge cardOops credit card. I don't go thereVery often . AND I ALWAYS CHECK MY RECEIPT. I know that's a terrible thing to say but IT'S THE TRUTH. SO JUST CHECK YOUR RECEIPT. SORRY JIM'S. BE HONEST YOU WILL MAKE MORE MONEY IN THE LONG RUN. AND WON'T BE CHEETING PEOPLE!! EVEN THE ONE'S WHO CAN'T READ ENGLISH DESERVE TO PAY WHAT YOU SAY ON THE SIGN!!

Well im convinced that the oil burners that cost more are not pyrex glass as they say it is. Pyrex does not warp, thin or crack so easy. I mean i cant burn oils with these inferior burners.

I always go in for one thing and leave with way more. somehow always talks me into buying stuff I dont need but he offerd a "no one can beat my price if they do bring me the recipt and I will give it to you free" deal on several items.
