Used their catering to feed a college baseball team while in town. Was impressed from the time I called and spoke with the Food Director, Kegan, all the way to the pick up. They went above and beyond, even held the doors open for me so I could pick up after an evening game. Staff at pick up was friendly and helpful. Oh and by the way…the boys loved the taco bar! Barely got pics because food was inhaled.

I love shopping in the fresh and day old meal area by the deli. They have a WONDERFUL selection of fresh prepped meals. I love the salmon and wild rice meal. I'm also a dipper. I love the Hy-Vee dips for my pita crackers or flat pretzels they have conveniently over there too. And don't forget to grab fresh squeezed orange juice!

I'm a fan of Hy-Vee. The stores are clean and well maintained, they have several self checkout lanes to speed things up when you only have a few items, and their meat counter is awesome.

Shame on you Hy-Vee!!! I stopped in earlier today to buy a 4 pack of cherry turnovers as a contribution for a potluck we were having at work. 3 of my coworkers each took one, and much to my surprise, there was hardly any filling in them. How embarrassing for me but mostly for your bakery dept. I came back to your store with 1 turnover that hadn'teven been touched,went to the the courtesy counter, which turns is not so courteous. I told this guy the story and he said wheres the other 3? I didn't bring them along. He said he couldn't return them because they'd been opened. Of course they had. Otherwise how would I know they were poor quality. I asked him to break the remaining one apart,but he refused.I didn't argue, but said that was good to know. You can bet I will never purchase anything from bakery again.Shared to FB

We went in to pick up a few things including the special on the bananas. I have a PERKS card, however we were charged the full price. Evidently, I do not have the updated version to suit them. I scanned the card, then was told to go to the service counter to update the card. They charged my husband the full price for the bananas. Not great customer service in my opinion.

Manboyfriend wanted to eat here cause big thin round tenderloin SANDWHICH 2.99... pretty good deal.... And he wanted to git this because we had eating at Freddy and he ordered the tenderloin there and was not happy at all because it more like a thick cut of some kind of pork rathen then breaded thin like it should b so he waz happy with this huge sandwhich...I get the pickled beats here all the time STUPENDOUS ... They are maroonish n earthy...

Lots to choose from and employees are always friendly. It is a bit more price wise than their big box store competition, however they have far better meats in their butcher area and better quality so you get what you pay for . Look for specials they usually run something every week . I enjoy shopping there and found some cool items

WHATEVER happen to respecting customers. I am so sorry I went to HyVee on 1st Ave N.E C.R IA. I asked Mike Rangel for help and was just berated and told to relax I never cursed or raised my voice As a senior citizen I told him I didn't need to be told how to behave Mike was bold very proud he could be so disrespectful. Mike claimed to be store directo bit after calling corporate. I found out he is a liar. Just because the store is in a low income area where minorities shop doesn't mean you treat them less than or like a N word Mr. Rangel has mastered that

We are new to Cedar Rapids. We just went in this morning during "senior" hours, and the rock music was so loud, we put our stuff back and left. Just plain awful.

Overpriced. Also, very rarely do the sales ring up correctly at the register. Usually you have to go to customer service and get it corrected. Very inconvenient.

Not many stores sell Brazil nuts in the shell. Good on ya HyVee. For a non-local this is an impressive little store.The best part is the Caribou Coffee in there. Love Caribou!

This store is now a “rich” persons property. Everything is a scam. Especially the “perks” program. Pay attention to the prices, shopping in store, and online, and thru ‘pick-up’… like with the gas saver…. Hy-vee makes money off of their so called specials. All in a very SCAM way! I remember when it wasn’t another rich man’s store. Don’t buy into the scam ppl. Make this place go bankrupt!

Nice store and typical of what you find in CR. They have lots of security features to prevent shoplifting and I’m glad. My wife set off the alarm after buying an OTC med. 😎 Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Marion store not good. Never has specials. Go to 1st ave or 32nd street. Always has specials and very friendly.
