Came in an hour before they closed and had a great time talking with the owner (I think owner) and checking out the crawling course and track. Huge inventory in stock! I’ve been in the hobby over 20yrs and have every scale and genre of it so I know how rare a nicely stocked store with people who are enthusiasts running it is. That’s hard to maintain and it shows he cares. Bought up an 1/18 RC and a handful of parts. Definitely will be coming back for a long time for play on the tracks and parts.

Awesome store. Had an electrical problem and they had it fixed quickly with a quick soldering job. Lots of parts on display with more in the back (just ask). Great and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend!

Stop reading this review, get in your car, and go to this place. I wish I lived closer so I could just stop by whenever I want. We travel around the country for work and like stopping by any rc shops we find along the way. This place has one of the best inventories I've ever seen, and apparently, they have more uncommon parts stored in the back. Everybody working was super nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. They have a track and crawler course next door to the main building. Looks like they're still adding to the crawler course.

Went in to buy my first RC truck after being referred by a friend and had a great experience. Everyone that helped me was fun and knowledgeable and they even let me try out a truck similar to the one I was looking to buy. Will be going back for upgrades

Awesome place only thing I don't like is they only offer store credit if you return something even unopened with receipt and paid cash originally. But i can deal with that. It's by far the best place in town for rc cars period!

Stopped there yesterday on a trip from PA - place is awesome! They have an indoor crawling course and a carpet track with new CRC carpet. The store is stocked with so many parts and they have samples of practically all of the RTR's on the shelf, where you can actually see them. The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable. My only regret was I had to leave today and wasn't able to race Mini -z's (next time)! If you're into rc or are thinking about getting into rc and you're in the Cedar Rapids area, you've got to stop there!

Stopped in while staying near by to see what they had for some tlr inventory.I’m confused how the facility has an indoor carpet track for onroad and off-road racing and saw no parts on the shelf for either of those types of racingShop has tons of parts for bashers and crawlers but no stock for racing.Skip the place if looking for race parts for now, maybe they will have stock later on, not sure where they would put them though.

What a hidden gem of a RC Hobby Shop! The experience had me thinking I was in a bigger city than Iowa even has when I eventually walked out of there. Everyone there was super friendly. Nobody was pressuring me into a purchase. I left looking forward to coming back.

This is the place for all your RC needs! The staff is extremely attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and they typically have what you need. If I could rate higher than a 5 star I would! This is a great asset to Cedar Rapids and the surrounding area!

New to the RC life. Getting my grandkids into it to get them away from the electronic gaming and get them outside!!! The staff is amazing!! I had more questions than any 1 person should have!! They were very accommodating and knowledgeable on everything I asked them! Never once did they make me feel like I wasn't welcome there because I didn't know anything! They've earned my business for life! Headed back there today to buy another RC!

I had questions about my duratrax 2005 Nitro evader BX I hadn't started it for 6 years engine was seized up I got it going but then I had multiple questions about upgrades because my signal would give out after 40 ft for some reason I called crash and bass hobbies and they were so knowledgeable they led me in the right direction gave me all the advice and insight that I needed so that I could keep my car going since they don't make it anymore and the company is out of business.Thank you so much you guys for getting me on the right track

I’ve been into RC since I was a kid. Now I’m middle aged and while moving recently I pulled out all my old RC cars and trucks. I found these guys to get some things to fix my old vehicles up. After about twenty trips to Crash and Bash I now own several new up to date RC’s and I’m more than happy with their service as well as the selection. Very knowledgeable, very patient, very nice group of people running this shop. Would recommend this place to anyone who’s into RC.

More RC hobby parts then HobbyTown, Hobby Lobby, or Iowa City's store. Friendly staff who are happy to help you find what you need or help fix problems with your little vehicle. Highly recommend if you're into RC controlled vehicles of any sort; they even have RC tanks and surf boards! I can't wait to see the large, indoor truck courses when they're fully built, based on the models I fully expect it to be a go to place for fun activities within the next year or two
