Hadn’t been in years, so we stopped in for burgers. They were tasty, but not overly amazing. We each had 1/4 single cheeseburgers, one with bacon. Onion rings were fantastic. Fries were disappointing. Overcooked and no seasoning. Baklava was a shiny star and a good way to end the meal.Parking: Parking right outside the front door. There may be overflow parking to the side of the building.Kid-friendliness: Burgers and fries and milkshakes. Super kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible to wheelchair users.

Atmosphere was great! You can tell it’s a family owned business or it has the feel of one like they take pride in everything they serve. The place is super clean too. There’s a cute lady in the kitchen that makes delicious Baklava! The burgers were put together with care and were tasty! The small fries were the size of a large at a fast food restaurant. Great experience, would definitely recommend!

What an awesome lunch spot! I got the Gyro and Fiend Fries which were both great. Pictured is a small portion of the Fiend Fries and that could have easily been my whole lunch. We also got baklava (not pictured) for dessert which was delicious.It looks like they recently added pizza to the menu which is very welcome with Pizzafiend no longer open. I loved the Pizzafiend pizza so will be giving that a shot next time!

The burgers and fries are so fresh. These are hand cut fries that had a slight crisp and were fluffy. The burger was quite juicy and tasted very fresh. I really apreciated the bun as well. It was soft and not soggy. This is the best burger I have had in the CR area. The best fries I have had outside of home cuts.Parking: Owner mentioned they have halal meat as well.

I like the grilled onions and other options for topping of the burger.Burgers are cooked and assembled once you pay for your order. So there is a little bit of wait time as the burgers need to cook and fries need to fry. I was going to try a gyro but they where out.Parking: If busy I could see you might have to park in the business parking next to but it's all in the same lot.Kid-friendliness: They had pictures kids colored in of Rudolph and a candy cane hung up.

My friends and family go here every year now to celebrate my brother's birthday. Service is great and the food is tasty. I got a gyro, strawberry malt, and medium fries. The menu has a variety of items that you can choose from, but not so much that you get overwhelmed.Vegetarian options: There are veggie options on the menu.Parking: There's a parking lot. 🤯Wheelchair accessibility: It's street level so you can get your wheels inside.

Burgers are very good and so are their shakes. They also have decent fries if you enjoy soft fries but it seems like they dont put any salt or seasoning on them. As for customer service, its not great, they could do with better employees. Price wise its going to be expensive, comparable to five-guys, but with better tasting burgers and worse fries. Its worth a visit.

What a wacky mix of lunch options: burger, shakes and ... gyros. But, the food we ordered was great. Very solid burger. Young lady working up front had a great smile and made us feel welcome. It's strange that it's attached to a furniture store, too. In fact, the restrooms are located inside that store. I'd totally go back - good food and friendly folks.

The burgers are the best burgers I have had, and I moved to Cedar Rapids from Houston where burger spots are everywhere and are very competitive. You can build your own burger exactly how you want which is so awesome. They are also now serving wings. I have had sweet chili and mango habanero and those flavors were so good! I also saw that they are coming soon with a pizza menu so I am very excited about that. I tell everyone I know to check this place out because it is truly a gem in Cedar Rapids. Staff is also always very kind, I can’t say enough good about this place. I’ve done fine in and take out and there is no difference in quality, also their beef bacon is SO good, as well as they’re shakes.

I haven't been here since it first opened and was glad I returned! I took the cook's recommendation of the New York which was delicious and filling! The fries are quite tasty and bigger than your average fast food chains.The staff was very nice and friendly and all greeted us with a smile. It was quite welcoming and caught me off guard!The restaurant was well kept and very clean and I am looking forward to returning for another meal! My son even asked if we could go back again. The answer was yes.

Went here on a road trip. Gives off five guys vibes with a nice small town burger join twist! Fries were nice and crispy and burger had a very good patty. Tons of sizes to choose from to fit your needs/budget! Would recommend

Someone with more math skills can figure out the number of available good tasting combinations- no idea- it's a lot. Shown is a single bacon with American cheese, grilled onion, lettuce and thousand island, fries and a chocolate shake. The food is delicious and different, like homemade different. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable, carry out is easy.

I generally wait until I've been to a place at least three times before I review it, but I'm not going to wait for Burgerfry. I've been there twice and I'm highly impressed. And, hey, it's hard to impress me with a hamburger and fries.The concept is simple. You order a burger, single or double patty, add cheese if you want and then choose from an assortment of toppings. The caramelized onions are perfect. They even have a fried egg as an option. Not many burger places around here do that. In fact, I can't think of another.Don't be fooled by the people complaining about the prices. Yes, they're a little higher than, say, McDonald's or Burger King, but you're getting a much higher quality product. Isn't it worth an extra dollar or so to get a burger that really tastes like a burger? These burgers are thick and juicy and nicely charred on the edges. The wait time is not a big deal, either. No, it's not fast food speed, but they aren't fast food. When a burger is made fresh and to order, I think it's worth a five minute wait vs. the factory assembled garbage at the fast food joints.I almost gave Burgerfry four stars, but went with five. The reason I hesitated is that the bathroom could be a bit cleaner. No, it's not hog lot nasty, but it's not as clean as it should be, either. Other than that, both experiences at Burgerfry have been marvelous.UPDATE: I just got finished having lunch at BurgerFiend and wondered if I ever reviewed this place. Turns out I did, nine years ago, when they were Burger Fry.I have the day off from work and for days I've been telling myself I am getting a big, juicy burger and a chocolate malt for lunch. I was not completely disappointed. The burger was certainly hot and juicy and big. The fries were nice and hot, too. The malt was perfect. The girl at the counter was friendly. Yet, I felt compelled to change my former five star rating to four star for one simple reason. I had requested tomato, onion, and lettuce on my sandwich. Oh, they were there, but I had to look for them. Looking at the photos BurgerFiend uses for promotions, I see nice, thick tomato slices, onion slices, and enough lettuce you can see the leafy green stuff poking out from under the patty. What I had were a few scrawny little pieces of tomato, a few tiny chunks of diced onion, and a small piece of wilted lettuce.In my previous review I stuck up for the place for having high prices, since what you get is much better than a typical fast food burger. However, now I feel that for the price you pay, you should get condiments that are better quality and more abundant than you get on a typical fast food burger.
