Ate here first time about a week ago sort of bar side feel when you first walk in . They do have large back room though with tables. I had chicken strips with fries and they gave 3 really large strips so good portions. My son had a burger and enjoy his also. Happy hour was told is 4 to 7 and they had a good selection. Our server was great also fast service. I will return here again.

The food is 😙 🏼 - try the Brussels sprouts or the loaded sweet potato fries. Or one of the grilled cheeses. Or any of the burgers.The service is amazing - one of the MANY examples: my son works at Hurts and knew they had a "breakfast" burger. We stopped in around 2:30 pm on a Sunday and he asked if he'd still be able to get one. Of course the answer was yes, and he was not disappointed!They have a great variety of beers, including a few NA options (my favorite is the Athletic Brewing All Out Stout)!And they have weekly fun - music bingo is always a good time and while I haven't done trivia here yet, I'm sure you won't be disappointed!All in all, you can't go wrong going to The Brass Tap!

I've loved this place since I first set foot in here. Sooooo many beers in tap and they change almost weekly due to demand. The food is easily gourmet yet affordable. If you want a cocktail, they have plenty to choose from including mules.I can't say enough good things about this place. If you're in for lunch and up to 6p, ask to talk to Tom or James about beer choices. They know their brews. By the way, you can taste anything to help you decide which one you want for full pour!Pics below of beer menu is just for that day. The menus can change daily.

Delicious food! My family of 6 each had a different meal and we loved everything! Small, cozy dining room. Very casual. Don't go if you're in a hurry! Lovely to be able to enjoy a relaxed meal in a comfortable environment without being rushed along by servers. The murals painted on the walls were done by a very talented employee! Unique place! We will definitely return often!! 6 people, full meals, 2 appetizers, 1 beer and 2 sampler flights for just over $120, which we felt was very reasonable! You will not regret dining here!!

Brass Tap is our go-to place for date night, but I’m ready to go there any day of the week! Their large menu of cocktails, beers, and sours always makes it hard to choose - but we are never disappointed. The food always hits the spot and this place can’t be beat. Jonathan is our favorite server and we always hope to get one of his tables when we are in!

We walked in was told seat yourself, we walked to the back room and found an empty table, had a server walk past a couple times to take care of other tables around us, no one greeted us or anything in the 15 mins we where there! Not impressed one bit.

Great bar menu. The loaded tots are fantastic! I had the beer-battered chicken sliders w/ housemade hushpuppies and my girlfriend ordered the bacon bbq burger. Food came out fast, staff was very knowledgeable. Terrific new spot in CF!

Great staple in downtown Cedar Falls. 146 taps with 100+ bottles & cans to choose from! Had the jalapeno & cheese burger with a couple pints and it was great!

Love this place. Best craft beer selection around. Fantastic food menu. My favorite place in downtown Cedar Falls.Parking: There's parking along the front and the side as well as a parking lot in the back.

Atmosphere is garden variety bar and grill. Their hook is having a huge selection of microbrews that they offer for reasonable prices. You can sample before you buy if you want but I didn't so not sure if there's a charge for that or a limit as there's 100 choices or more. Service was great and friendly. We were there around 530pm on a Weds so it wasn't busy at all. Prices were reasonable but a little on the high end. In our group the boom boom shrimp got high marks, the chicken sandwiches were "okay" and the fish and chips was a bust. That dish was under-portioned and under-flavored. Not recommended. Otherwise I'd say these is a decent stop for food or drink but doesn't do enough to set itself apart unless you want to try a wide variety of micros.

1st time here, the food is really good and they have a huge selection of beer and different specials every night. Will be going again. Wednesday's they have music bingo, I didn't win but it was fun.

Sat at bar, Ordered off the drink menu: drinks were ungarnish, warm and more expensive than local options (such as montage). For example I got the lemon drop martini—said it came with a sugared rim—nope. Tried the jalapeño margarita and there was no jalapeño.. these drinks were $11 and should be made right. Ope, and the bartenders were dressed in yoga pants and hoodies. I paid less for the same drink, made right at montage where the waitstaff, atmosphere and drinks were all wayyy better.Sanitation: the brass tap bar rinses the drinks by pressing the rim of the glass down on these metal things. That means everyone's mouth of their glass touch the same place as the previous one while the inside of the glass gets rinsed. Gross to me.We did not have the food this time, it used to be pretty good tho—if u can find seating. I recalled having to wait a long time for the food (although we had a table of 5) and being empty on drinks for some time.Not what it used to be.

Pretty popular spot, first come first served place, great happy hour beer. Loved my burger, and beer If only they had more variety burgers. Johnathan was great, such an attentive server. Music is good but could be better. Chill vibe overall, found easy parking fortunately.
