I get pretty uncomfortable here and it's hard to focus on shopping.I'm a black woman so I guess it's completely okay for Hy-Vee employees to follow me all throughout the store and watch my every move.I come here because it's conveniently close to UNI. But I'm starting to think I should just spend the extra time and gas and shop somewhere else. I'm sure that would make them happy as well.

Such a great store that boys are always friendly. Always so nice to you no matter what. Sometimes I think these people deserve hazard. Pay the way some of these people treat them but they are just so knowledgeable and more. Everything is it's just awesome

Great food to be had at reasonable prices! Of course, you need to remember that you are dining in a grocery store. But we found the food to be tasty, well pr we pared, and in generous portions. If you would like a good meal for lunch or dinner, you can count on HyVee.

I love Hyvee and always have, but I went on a Saturday afternoon. Never again! Of course, I expected it to be busy, but I couldn't hardly walk through the store. The aisles were narrow and the way the whole layout was.....well not shopper friendly. Helpful smile in every aisle, umm NOPE! Even the employees looked stressed and unhappy. I will never shop this Hyvee again. No matter what day or time it is.

I enjoy shopping at Hy-Vee, especially the meat counter. They also have a lot of items other grocery stores don't carry. The downside is they can be quite high on some items which is why I don't get all my groceries there.

The front end manager named Zach helped me with a bottle return. He was so nice and so kind and I could not believe how he went above and beyond with his kindness. I called the store before I went and he said the bottle return closed at 630, so my last minute self pulled in at 6:10 and loaded a cart with bottles and loaded my 3 year old. By the time I was done, it was 6:20. I looked forward and the bottle return area had shut off their lights. I was super frustrated! I went into the store and talked to him, and he apologized and had me just count out my bottles and he then paid me for them without me having to struggle with the machine.I so appreciate his kindness and wanted to leave a good review for him!!!!!

I have upgraded my score of this Hy-Vee to reflect the improvement I feel they have made in training their personnel. I was very disappointed upon switching to this Hy-Vee when my store on University in Waterloo closed. I didn't feel they were as professional or as well trained. In the past few years, I have seen them improve and attribute that to their management taking customer concerns and feedback to heart. Thank you Hy-Vee.

A little more expensive than Walmart, but it's not so out of the way. It's a little bigger than many Hy-Vee stores so it's got an assortment of businesses, they'll take cans for recycling, a lot of my clients like to shop here.

expensive and the lights are too bright. i get overwhelmed here easily and often walk out without buying anything. unfortunately they stock things i can't buy at other, better stores. i would shop here more if they dimmed the lights sometimes.

I do almost all of my grocery shopping at this Hy-Vee and regularly use aisles online. The staff are great but it's unfortunate that the quality and freshness of their meat has declined significantly over the last year or so. Several times in the past year I've received spoilt meat. Color is not necessarily an indicator of freshness but scent is definitely an indicator and the steaks I've received are most certainly sour.

Nearly everything is priced higher than the Fareway store - often by a substantial amount. Price tricks are quite aggravating. An item will be raised in price substantially for a week or two, then will be marked back a tiny amount (still much higher than the original price) and then lauded as a "PRICE REDUCED" item. Cheesy, sneaky, and just plain wrong. Hyvee USED to be a great store, but those days are over. I now shop ther only for those few things I can't find elsewhere. The huge store makes it painful. Sorry, but you asked.

When I shop at Hy-Vee, I usually go to either the Crossroads or Ansborough stores, which are closer to my house. I attended an event in downtown CF, so I decided to go to the College Square store afterwards. I found the store very easy to navigate despite a different layout than the other local Hy-Vees, and I found a couple of items that the Crossroads store no longer carries. An employee even stopped and asked if I was finding everything OK--a rare occurrence at most supermarkets these days. By the time I was ready to check out, it was almost 9:30 PM, and I was pleased to find 2 traditional checkout lanes still open. I do not like it when I have a full cart and self-checkout is the only option (a common complaint of mine at the Ansborough store in recent months).

I had the best experience at Hy-Vee pharmacy that I think I've ever had anywhere! 6:30pm pharmacy drive through, I'm embarrassed I didn't get her name but she was simply amazing. She knew exactly what syringes I needed with my prescription, usually I have to mention it takes 2 kinds, she saw that the 3 scripts were a bit higher price then she thought they should be and questioned if it was right, salt it was due to an insurance screw up, but she tried to see if it could be corrected anyhow. Amazing customer service tonight! In this day and age customer service seems to be at a minimum, but I'm usually very happy at Hy-Vee, but this young lady was well over the top helpful!

There really is a"Helpful Smile in Every Aisle"I'm from out of town, din't know the store layout- All I had to do was ask " Wherw would I find..." and the Emoliyee would walk me straighr to what I needed.Holiday Shopping Was A Treat!Thank You to All The Employees Who Took Pride in Their Jobs!5 Stars !

Stop to get some fruit and vegetables, off course ORGANIC. But their organic section was poor and what I was looking for wasn’t available. After seeing prices of some products I just walked out and didn’t buy a thing. Shame of putting price of organic strawberry for small pack $10Picture says it all!😠

I order online from here the night before and pick up groceries the next day and if any thing is out of stock they text to ask if they can substitute

Steve the "Cheese Guy" takes such good care of me every time I drop by to pick up my charcuterie needs 😁 Today, he gave me an impromptu tasting including an array of soft cheeses, pepper jelly, and crackers! Ladies night will be more fabulous than ever. I highly encourage you to stop by the next time you are preparing for a gathering or special occasion, makes life easy!

I’ve had a really great experience here! I love how there are the little restaurant options inside! I’ve gotten a few oranges that weren’t very flavorful, I may just not pick ‘em well though. I wish the deli was shaved to your preference upon ordering, as opposed to it always being pre-shaved. I like that it makes the process a little quicker, but would prefer it the other way. I love the candy options in the middle! Customer service has helped me multiple times and they are so easy to work with and genuinely seem happy to help! Cashiers are always so kind!! I love that this is my new local grocery store!!

Good place to shop, but they don't have as good of a selection as Walmart. Plus Walmart is cheaper. Buy meats there not Walmart.

We had an issue with a pick up order, we live 45 minutes away. They DROVE us the correct items without being asked. There is not customer service like this in many places now days. Really appreciated their gesture to make it right.

Clean. Only shop for their bargains though, otherwise their prices are too high. Hate the way their discounts on specials come off at the end of checkout. As with all stores you need to be aware of what you're charged because it's not always accurate.
