Pivo brewery was one of our favorite places to stay on our road trip from Florida up to Michigan. We parked our RV there overnight, through the Harvest Hosts program. We liked everything about it.The vibe and atmosphere were cool.The employees were friendly and told us about other places to see in Iowa.For food, we started with the High, Wide, and Handsome Swirls. They are swirls of dough, with stuff inside such as pepperoni. Then we got a pizza. The swirls were fun, and the pizza was delicious.For drinks, they had so many options that sounded good, so Bret got a flight. They all tasted good and unique. For example, the red beer was a strawberry rhubarb sour. And the dark beer at the top was a (takes a deep breath), bourbon barrel aged salted caramel dark chocolate brownie milk stout 🤯.As for parking overnight through the Harvest Host program, the site was clean and pretty level, and the outside noise wasn't bad at night when we were sleeping.We would love to come back here.

So many options! They have ~30 of their own beers on tap and so many different varieties. They name their beers after nearby towns and give each a flavor that reflects the town. Some beers seem way out there but they are definitely worth the taste.

Great beer! A very wide selection for all tastes. Food is very good, and they grow their own hops (at least a little bit of it) over the patio in the summer. Love this brewery!

We absolutely love this place. The food was great and the beer was even better. There is so much variety we need to visit again. Staff and service was excellent. The outside atmosphere is beautiful. Really can't say enough good things.

Nice hometown brewery near Decorah. Huge selection of their own brews, my favorites were the stillhouse ale and the hazelnut latte Porter. If you like lighter flavors, they had a great selection. The Hawkeye cider was a little sour and not our favorite. The place was well attended by many locals, the food was good and the atmosphere homey. It was nice to see the Space Force flag amongst all the military flags. Most breweries haven't updated their collection. Semper Supra!!

Great selection of well done craft beers. Stopped at PIVO recently, from the Chicago area, during a visit to Decorah IA with friends. It’s down the road from Toppling Goliath, I highly recommend PIVO, well worth a visit. Excellent beer! ….keep up the good work.

Very nice and elegant brewery. Staff was friendly and drinks arrived quickly. Also had a warmed up monster cookie, delicious. A pleasant overall experience.

I'm originally from West, Texas - a Czech town where "pivo" just means "beer". And I think that's a great name for this brewery, where the selection of pivo is HUGE. The most beer-savvy in my group raved about how each beer they tried was "on point", i.e. a textbook example of that kind of beer. My Cuban sandwich was very tasty, though a bit small. Our server was nice and did a good job. Although I didn't find a new must-have beer, it was definitely worth stopping by.

First days of cautious reopenings after COVID-19 shutdown. Spotlessly clean. Good flow to avoid crowding. Large selection of beers on tap. We tried a very good double IPA, a milk stout, a Scottish ale and a porter.

We were in the event Center for a wedding and the place was very, very nice. Not sure if the catering was done by Pico or not, but the food was fantastic. Perfectly prepared and the staff was spot on with service! The beer is good, but not great. I tried 4 different beers amd all were good, but didn't stand out in a good or bad way. I will say the staff in every part of the operation was friendly, courteous, and very helpful and professional. I would certainly go there again!!

We were skeptical, as we are with any brewery that has a lot of beers on their menu, but we were pleasantly surprised. Every beer we tried was solid and enjoyable, and we tried at least 12 different beer between us. Even brought home a couple of crowlers to the Twin Cities. Staff were very nice, food was decent, nice outdoor decks. Would definitely go back.

Our son and his wife had their wedding reception in the event center and we cannot rave enough about how wonderful Sara and the team were. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. All tables were set up with social distancing in mind for us and when we forgot serving pieces for cake cutting, it was taken care of. We were short on a couple of extensions cords after decorating and planned to bring them the day of the wedding. When we arrived, Sara had taken the liberty of finding some and had plugged everything in for us to just enjoy the evening with family. It’s the perfect venue with the perfect team. Thank you for making our son and his wife’s day safe and perfect for everyone. ☺️

Stopped there for the first time today and was not disappointed. Their beer selection is phenomenal and everyone that I tried was awesome. Took home 4 different ones and they were all reasonably priced for being 24 ounce cans. Loved that I could get little samples of any of the beers they had. It made deciding what to take home much easier. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the area.

A lovely place with a charming atmosphere!! We found ourselves loving each beer we tried. The employees were so kind and patient, they made great recommendations to try. When they found out we were out of town, they spoke highly of the other breweries in town we should try and places to visit.They have a small food menu but it was perfect for lunch. The sandwiches are delightful! Highly recommend visiting when your in Decorah!

Great place! Very clean, super friendly staff. Small town feel, but with a big tap room and lots of seating. HUGE beer selections with award winners. Every beer we tried was great for the style. I will have to come back

Hands down my favorite brewery. The staff is absolutely wonderful, so friendly and welcoming. The beers are crafted beautifully and all with such unique flavor profiles. I have yet to have a bad brew here. Great food and atmosphere. Highly recommend swinging in if you're in the area or if you have to drive a bit to get there. It is WORTH IT!

Our favorite microbrewery in the region by far. The beers are excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the snacks quite good. Other patrons are quite sociable, and this is a vast improvement over the pretentious (and overpriced) microbreweries in MN. The only thing that would make it perfect would be to spell Piwo correctly with a W :)

We popped in here a couple of weeks ago. One of the places 'on the way' to Decorah. Liked the history...local couple coming back and doing what they are passionate about...that was very cool. Tried a couple of flights...i.liked the Pilsners best (call me a lightweight). Wife liked the sour...appetizers were good. Server was really good. Nifty place..recommend..will be back!
