I purchased a Speed Queen washer from them in July of 2023. I went into the store knowing I wanted to purchase a washer and wanted the Speed Queen brand. I was greeted immediately upon entering the store and personally walked back to the appliances where Sherri Hora showed me the models available and explained the differences between them. She was very knowledgeable, personable, and a great help in selecting a model and completing the purchase. We had a fast delivery and install within a couple of days. My Husband was home when they delivered and he said they were professional and knowledgeable in explaining the model to him after install. They even hauled our old model away. They were in and out in under 15 minutes. We have not had a single issue with the machine since purchase, it was worth every dollar. Gets everything clean the first time and does so quickly, which is a huge perk with two littles that quickly add to the laundry load each week. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to work with a local business that is knowledgeable, honest and professional. Great team to work with!

Ben in customer service was extremely polite and helpful. We did have an issue but Ben listened to our concern and helped to resolve it. It was refreshing to see a small business treating their customers well. Thanks for showing us there is a good reason to shop locally.

Wish I could leave a better review but this company has taken my money and left me high and dry. About a year ago I paid for them to come fix my refrigerator that was not cooling properly. They came and diagnosed the problem (incorrectly) to which i paid the service charge and money down on the part they had to order which was supposed to take a week to get in. After 2 weeks of no communication i called and they said they still had not gotten the part, a process which repeated every few weeks until they just gave up on it altogether, kept my money and cost me hundreds of dollars in spoiled food. After about 6 months i had to hire someone else who fixed it promptly and much cheaper than not only what i was quoted here but what I already had down paid on the repair that never happened

Standard of Beaverdale offers a great display of cabinetry. Their designers are very knowledgeable and awesome to work with. I highly recommend them for kitchen and bathroom projects.

Best customer service around, there’s always someone near to ask questions. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection of appliances. Always a fun place to visit. I’ve gotten several kitchen gadgets and fun new cookware. Just recently bought some decorative cake pans on sale.

The heating element went out on our dryer. I wanted to repair it again but nobody could look at it for at least a month. I went to all the Box stores looking for a replacement. No one had what I needed in stock but they could all order it. The bad news, it would take 4 to 8 weeks to deliver. I tried Amazon. They could ship the model I needed within a week but it would only get dropped off. Finally I remembered good old Standard of Beaverdale. I should have just went there first. Not only did they have the model I needed, they delivered it the next day. They even installed it and took my old one away. One of the guys even took a minute to fix the broken hinge on my storm door on their way out. Standard of a Beaverdale, they've been here the whole time.

Very friendly. Helpful and knowledgeable. I went to purchase Baltic birch. The last place which i will not name sold me 3/16 when i asked for 1/4, when I called them on it they just said it varies, wrong! Standard of Beaverdale knew exactly what I wanted right away, They know their business.

First hardware store I went to as a kid. Where I was greeted by someone Everytime. Always had popcorn on the ready. Here it is 30 plus years later and still the same holds true. What I've noticed over the years is Standard is where the home builders go. But if your a D.i.y, standard is where you want to go, the employees all know there stuff or will get someone who is. Also, they give back to the community so much. Good people at standard.
