I'm from out of state working on fixing up a house my cousin has recently purchased and while picking up the lumber we needed from the yard I was amazed at the service we got. As soon as we stopped at the section of wood we needed a yard employee was right there to help and we were loaded up in minutes. Awesome employees with ambition that shows. That doesn't happen where i'm from. We thank you for making our busy day a bit less stressful.

I’m not very good with tools, so I wasn’t quite sure what I was looking for, but this young man, Alex led me to this amazing selection of equipment.The selection of tools was almost as good as the customer service I received from Alex! I will definitely be coming back.

Ordered cabinets/countertop. After ordering the counter top/sink, it took 3 weeks and didn’t get the color I asked for the sink. The cabinets were very cheaply made. Do not recommend for cabinets/countertops

As much as this photo makes me giggle (I took it a few years ago) they really are big on safety here. Tim who works the floor is the best at customer service(he can help you find anything) and I applaud Menards at their strick mask policy.

First time ever in years that I was impressed with the service provided! As I was looking around in different departments for remodeling ideas, I had not just one or two but four Menards associates ask if they could assist me with anything. It was a great experience the way it used to be. Kudos to the young people you have hired!!

These people can’t even give you an interview. Twice no they skipped over me without asking me to come in… 20 plus years of customer service but you can have someone that ignores customers.. you have lost me as a customer as well. Thank you!!!

So far got 2 new kitchen appliances a air fryer oven love it n use it bout ever day maybe sometime twice a day. This was my first toy 2nd one just got a cool looking coffee makers love it so far only made coffee once still have coffee for me to drink in my thermos jug that keeps it hot n ready for me till it's all done then I'll make more coffee each time as needed. Yes do love my 2 new toys they match my other kitchen appliances.

We had an excellent experience with a young man in building materials. His name is Zack and he was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Will be back and will ask for him. Keri in storage was also very helpful and walked me to plumbing and found someone to assist us. All in all an outstanding experience

Good quality, great selections, terrible customer service. Was asked to wear a mask and said that was fine just for the employee to continue informing us if we wouldn't that he would usher us out, um no1 was arguing it didn't need to be said, then bought 500 + dollars worth of tile that no1 offered to help load till the last box the young kid sticks his head around the corner to see if we were doing ok!? Really ? Yeah bro we got it. Wont be returning the cashier pushed the cart into my wife without looking and acted as though she was being put out to stand there and scan our stuff. The experience was not worth doing business there again.

Needs to extend into Tennesse. Pricing has been creeping up, but still cheaper than lowes or home depot. Really cut back on plants though.

Ordered a counter from them. They had to change certain sizes because of machine cuts. Because of that the counter length was wrong and has to be sent back. They aren't doing a single thing aside from ordering a new one which don’t help the 2 weeks of no kitchen now. Do not trust their templates at all or the managers for help!

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They were very specific about installation instructions, which really saved me a headache later. I'm glad I went here instead of Walmart or Home Depot.

I understand being safe for the corona virus, but when a 70+ year old employee stops me at the door to tell me their new policy is to not have 16 or under inside the store, I was taken back. It is firstly my understanding that both generations are affected and given the numbers for Iowa it's more so the elderly generation. Secondly I get all sorts of emails from menards and not one email mentioned this new policy, had I received one I would of saved the time and money it took so drive in from out of town. My company spends a great deal of time and money inside this store and the young manager this evening states it was a policy that had just came into effect last nigh . Your website isnt even updated with this new policy very disgruntled

Have not been there in a couple months, Burlington Iowa store..Every person We asked for help said no we don't have or we are out of specific items we were in search of, without checking or searching for products. Just quick dismal. We continued looking ourselves and FOUND most of what employees stated they did not have or were out. Each employee was doing a store job and it appeared they did not want to be bothered. Not impressed on service /help. 4 different inquiries

I love shopping at menards! I just can't give the full 5 stars bc what happened to the outstanding customer service that this place once had? I would be greeted numerous times while shopping asking if I needed help with anything But now They're either nowhere to be found or when you find find someone you feel like is he alike their either trying to avoid you or that you are a burden for stopping them to ask a question. When that comes back they'll get that other star.

I always enjoy going into this store no matter if its for house hold items or building materials. I'm in this store around average of two times weekly if not more. I compare and save a lot of things tend to be cheaper than other stores. Keep up the good work :)

I go to Menards at least once a week and have a medical reason to where I can't wear a mask with drs note saying so, was just in there 3 days ago with no problems. Went in today and was told I couldn't shop there without a mask even with a medical reason and proof, so I went to my truck and started making phone calls to other places and a mask less employee told me I needed to leave and was told that if they ordered their guests to wear orange shirts that we would have to it's store policy, as I watched many other people going in without a mask and just as many employees not wearing one as well. I'll never go back to this communist establishment

Left Lowes, poor experience. Found the hardware I needed in no time at Menards. Young cashier could have been a little better. YOU HAVE TO INSERT CARD THREE TIMES BEFORE YOU CAN SCAN CARD. Should have been " Sorry you have to insert three times..." Youth she will learn

Small Town Tree service

We bought a pressure washer from them on Thursday afternoon took it home and the next day started it and it pumped all the oil out in several different spots of the engine. When we took it back to replace it or get our money back they refused to do so because it had gas and oil in the engine. They said the only thing that could happen is I had to take it to a small engine repair shop 25 miles away and have them fix it and they would pay for it. Now the issue is the reason we bought this machine was to use it immediately and now we have to wait. So far it's been over a week and still don't have anything to show for the $500. We spent. NEVER BUY ANYTHING from MENARDS that's gas powered because they don't stand behind the things they sell...

Showed up 10 minutes before close, 8 pm on Sundays. We were treated great by the staff. They allowed me to grab a couple essentials even though the store was closed. Thankful for the help and patience by the staff .

Employees were rude. Instid of asking nicely for you to put your mask on they came up aggressive and rude about it. When half their Employees weren't even wearing mask correctly. Then you get up to check out they tell you to pull your mask up. Guess you guess better train your Employees to wear their masks right before you go and judge customers

The store itself is ok. Its about like every other menards in the country. Menards always has and still has easily the worst check out lines setup in all of retail. Very inconvenient.The management on the otherhand have been very inconsistent with customers, and their own employees. They tried to kick out the person I was with who medically couldnt wear a mask due to asthma and allergies. We got stopped twice and I attempted to explain it to them and they either tried to kick us out or were very disrespectful. Their own employees werent wearing masks over their noses, as well as other customers and kids were not wearing them over their faces or simply not wearing them at all but they chose to target us.All in all the store is ok. The management is ridiculous.

I found 100 things I wanted! Only bought a few. Air purifier, shower caddy, trash can, cleaning supplies, a pair of jeans and a shirt and a floor lamp. I left spending $250.00 but not knowing what the 11% rebate is all about...? Not a lot of workers around.
