I went to Fareway to look at their meat selection and was pretty impressed with their quality. While I was there I compared prices of some common items that I normally buy and found their prices to be a little lower than Hyvee. I do want to add that I didn't do an extensive comparison just a simple one. I am going back to ight to buy some fish.

I found two needed items here that HyVee didn't carry or have stocked. Thank you Fareway for always being clean, well stocked, easy to navigate with plenty of helpful staff.

I go grocery shopping here every week and have never had a bad experience. The people at the meat counter are awesome and so much fun to talk to. I always get a friendly cashier and the kids who bag my groceries are great. The prices are pretty good too. Some things might be higher than the other stores but it’s worth it to be in a better atmosphere.

I stopped in to Fareway today with my daughter and two grandchildren. The 4 year old was running and starting choking on a mint he had in his mouth. He was having a hard time breathing and was coughing and crying and and trying to talk. Three employees came over to check on us, and provided us with a bottle of water and a paper towels. They stayed with us until he was doing better. I was frightened and was so relieved they came to our aid and were so kind to us. A huge THANK YOU to Bev, Kaari and Adam! Y

This is the best store I have ever shopped in! The customer service is exceptional. They have wonderful deals and better prices than any other grocery store. Their meat is the best in the State. And my kids always enjoy the free suckers at the checkout. We will always shop here!

Friendly service!Very rarely a wait longer than a couple of minutes in line because the call some one up to check out right away. Longest lines are around holidays.Meats are fantastic! The meat counter is well staffed. Fresh cuts. Great weekly deals (check out their ads). Items like chicken breasts are huge (one whole breast weighing 1.2 to 1.5 lbs typically)! Great bratwurst! Variety of steaks.In Spring 2017, this store underwent some remodeling. Created more room, updated displays, and improved energy efficiency.

I couldn't ask for better I believe nothing is better in southeast Iowa, than Fairways meat counter great place to shop for groceries don't like shopping anywhere else can't wait to get one my hometown

I love there meat it's ALWAYS fresh and the staff is always polite and get to you fast and i love how they never rush you through your order they take the time to make sure your meat gets packaged exactly the way you want it and answer all your questions i am a proud customer of fairway meats my favorite meat guy is Levi Martin but if he ain't there don't worry all the other's will take just as good care of you I've never had a problem and i ALWAYS leave with a smile
