Our vet recommended a specific pet food, and not only does Horse & Hound carry it, they have a loyalty program where we periodically get a bag free! Fave place to find gifts for my horsey friends, too.

They were very helpful. The man helping us was impressed with all the rescues we've taken in. He asked what food we used for the 2 cats and 2 dogs. He gave us a small bag for the cats and one for the dogs and said to let him know how it worked. He said they would eat less and poop less also. Cant wait to go back and get what else we need. Need to measure the dogs for better collars and a security shirt.

This store is the only place I have found a dog food that my poodle can eat! They are extremely, nice, and educated people who helped me find the product I was looking for! My dog has allergies to dog food with grains and it was a chore to find something he could keep down. Thanks to these guys, my poodle is happy and healthy!

I would have only given it to Stars however rating two stars on this system says I disliked it, I did not dislike the store so I guess I have to rate it three stars. I went there to buy a specific brand of turtle feed, which I was very surprised that this particular store had where they named like Horse and Hound, but I was very surprised with what was in the store it was a small store but very well stocked with various types of feed for all different types of animals.I was very inquisitive concerning some dog feed and she was right there giving me direct answers and very informative, however when she found out it wasn't for me and I was not going to be buying a $30 bag of feed she was done talking to me and she walked away and she started going back to her business, and that was a complete turn-off.
