From not having delivery drivers most evenings, to tonight where my food was never delivered, my experience with the Boone, IA Jimmy John's has been consistently awful.I put in my order at 8:00 PM and around 9 PM it had been marked "delivered", but nothing had been actually delivered. After a brief phone call to the store, the delivery driver had apparently forgotten my drink and had gone back to the store to pick it up, but in the process marked my order as complete for some reason beyond me. I was assured the delivery driver was back on their way, but after a half hour more of waiting, still no sign of my driver or my order. I called the store again at 9:35 PM and they had told me it had been dropped off at my building, yet after checking the entire exterior of the building, my order was nowhere to be found. The store told me they couldn't do anything about it and didn't issue me a refund or anything.My building has security cameras all around it as it is our company's security policy, and after checking the footage from every exterior door and the surrounding area, no order was ever dropped off. So either they got the address wrong (which I confirmed over the phone multiple times), or they made some other mistake and lied about it. Either way, I spent $40 only to never receive the food I had paid for without a refund and was unable to eat that night because I was stuck at work and by the time I had time to order something from somewhere else, everything had closed for the night.So unless you'd like to gamble either getting food over making a selfless monetary donation to the Boone IA Jimmy John's, I will never recommend this particular store to anybody.

In My opinion, similar Jimmy John’s experience to others - difference being 1) definitely slower, 2) no seating (it’s pickup only) and the giant pickles I have ordered have been soggyI think the first two are related to size of store and staffing but work on the giant pickles ;)

UPDATED 4/27/24:BOONE LOCATION HAS BECOME DISAPPOINTING. Picked up my Boot Leg Giant Combo yesterday, at $32 plus as I added bacon & ham, and upsized my Coke. When we returned home after a 20-minute drive we discovered no ham, no bacon and no added mustard as ordered!I do think Jimmy John's rock over Subway! Their subs have flavor and that's certainly lost at Subway nowadays!.....not to mention the fact I don't believe Subway listens to their customers!!! However, the Boone Jimmy John's is "always" out of onions....not so sure I believe that or they just don't want to prep them!

This is the slowest Jimmy Johns ive ever experienced. It has not improved on subsequent visits. Not sure what the deal is, but if there are more than 1 or 2 cars in line, skip it and head somewhere else. Unless you have a spare 30+ minutes… seriously… that said the food is good. Maybe better than other JJ’s ive had? They just need to work on their expediency.

I LOVE Jimmy John's.. but not this one. Every single time I've ordered food from there, there has been issues. From yellow lettuce and bad tomatoes to what happened today. I got a sub with paper completely stuck to the bottom. Absolutely won't come off. It had to have been obvious when the employee picked up the bread that it tore off paper with it, but they served it anyways. Disgusting. The cherry on top? No straws for our drinks. Worth it to drive to Ames instead.

This was the worst Sandwich from Jimmy John's that I've had. It was warm and soggy. I sent a review through email that had asked if we wished to be contacted. I put yes. It's been a month and no one has contacted me. It also took an hour for my 1 sandwich. I'll get mine in Ames from now on

Got two #7 spicy Italian sandwiches, for one the receipt was covered in oil, it was ripped, and for two both of the sandwiches were absolutely drenched in oil, it was dripping everywhere made an absolute mess. The bread was soggy due to the amount of oil that was splashed all over. Definitely not worth almost $20 for two sandwiches, and on top of all of those, very slow un happy workers.

ive eaten jimmy johns for years. a drive thru is my choice experience. i love the meat loaded sandiwch. gargartron or something, haha, and a side of jalapeno chips. i lick my fingers. i wish they had. chili dog. it reminds me of my dad. will 100 stop by next time im driving west of ames! xoxops im hungry nowKid-friendliness: kids are great

1st time was great, everything correct. Tonight not so much, my sandwich was not even close to what I ordered and it was the most expensive one. Took 25 minutes from when they said they left to get up to Mamie. Typically love the sandwiches but when they are made wrong it is frustrating and you can't complain anywhere else about the order.

Driver didn't even wait for us to anwser the door before they were out of the driveway. We got 2 bags of chips with our order, one was stale. The 3 other times we ordered it was great.

Drive thru took a long time even for this type of place which I can understand if staff was short or new but the sandwiches were wrong. Wife paid extra for capicola and my sandwich was supposed to come with it and there was none. They didn't say they were out of it or anything. It's a new shop so maybe they will get better but not a great start.

Worst Jimmy sandwiches ever.... brown gooey Lettuce.... really you could have just said we are out of Lettuce rather than ruin the sandwiches... will make the trip to Ames from now on.
