Love this place ! I recently adopted a cat from muscatine humane society . He has a deformed ear due to a hematoma . I wanted to know how to care for it since he will always have problems. Vet and the staff treated us like family .

Our Shy'La absolutely loves coming to see everyone that works at Blue Grass Veterinarian Hospital. I love the way everyone responds to her and how Shy'La responds back. It is very important to my husband and I to know that our Shy'La will be well taken care of if she should ever have an emergency or even just having her annual check ups she's in great hands.We finally got to meet Dr. Jones Guy since covid restrictions kept us from coming in to the clinic for the past year, we were only able to speak with her over the phone during Shy'Las visits. Both doctors, Dr. Werning and Dr.Jones Guy and their staff are a real delight and from their performance you can tell each and everyone of them enjoy being there.Your welcoming atmosphere the minute you walk in to your office is what attracted us the first time we brought Shy'La to your hospital. You make Shy'La feel like a celebrity and the care you provide for her puts my mind at ease.

We're always very pleased with the care our cat receives at the Blue Grass Veterinary Hospital. All of the staff are great but the doctors are truly amazing. They are vet gentle when handling the animals and when administering the vaccines. My cat doesn't even realize what's going on and then it's over. We're very happy to have such a wonderful place so close to home. Thank You!!!

My little guy, pretzel, got a bad case of fur mites. None of the vets in my town would take rabbits or even new patients. This place was the only vet close enough that would take us. They ended being super kind and sweet with him, and gave us a treatment that I wasn’t sure that was going to work. But no surprise, it worked! Magically his mites were gone in a week. Can’t thank y’all enough! I’m never taking my pets anywhere else.

I have a very hyper lab that just turned one in February. The Dr. And her Tech did an AMAZING job with her. From drawing blood and giving shots, to clipping her nails. She wouldn't sit still for anything! But they were able to harness the beast, lol 🤣 Thank you guys.❤️

My dog is reactive and doesn't do well with some procedures. The staff here uses fear free training and is incredibly patient with her! They are all polite and informative as well.Take your pets here, they will treat them as their own.

Working in the healthcare profession, I understand how busy schedules are. We have moved from the area, but were back in town visiting family. Maverick was due for his one year checkup. I called to see if they had openings. They did not at the time. I left name for a quick fill opening and they gave me a call. Maverick was able to once again receive the compassionate care we were used to.

I currently have two dogs that I take to the Blue Grass veterinary clinic. My most recent experience was with my 11 month old cockapoo, who decided to eat some mouse poison. Fortunately, I caught her in the act and was able to give her some hydrogen Prock side to throw it up, and then I rushed her up to the clinic, where they provided charcoal treatment, and kept her under observation for the rest of the day. Had they not been available? The outcome would not have been positive. Their staff is caring and compassionate and I am so grateful that they are available in our hometown. Thanks so much for all of the care that you provided Izzy, and all of my other pets in the past.

Blue Grass Veterinary Hospital is the only vet clinic I trust my cats with! They have affordable pricing for out of pocket exchanges, and they accept different forms of credit and insurance! I live next door to another Vet Clinic and instead I drive from Bettendorf to Bluegrass just for them! I wouldn't go anywhere else!

My pup gets regular bacterial ear infections. The staff at bluegrass was great with her. She didn't even want to go inside and they handled it well. One young lady event got down on the floor with her and was loving on her. The doctor fully checked her ears to see what we were dealing with this time and the best treatment plan. Then we all worked together to make the next couple visits fit my families busy schedule.

Switched to Blue Grass Veterinary office from another vet on the recommendation of a friend . We we were very pleased with our first visit. The office was quiet which my cat appreciated and very clean which I appreciated. The Dr was very thorough and answered all our questions without making us feel rushed. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly!

They try to get our animals in for appointments as quickly as they can, they treat all our fur babies like they’re their own. They know them all by name and are so excited to see them every time we come in. It’s great knowing our fur babies are in great hands. The staff is always so amazing and do a great job answering any questions we have. We love this vet office.

We travel full time in our RV. I have been pretty lucky finding clinics to get my dog vaccinated, but not this go around I found nothing. Called one place and they were not taking new dogs. All I needed was two vaccines not a physical. Called Blue Grass, very grateful they got me in that day and just the two vaccines my dog needed. Thank you
