Unprofessional. They'll tell you parts are ready when they aren't. Drove 2 hours to get a part and they don't have it ready after they scheduled a pickup time. They have a lack of communication amongst themselves and fail to communicate to customers. Prices are very fair. Management is very poor.

Texted them to order my part, paid online, texted I was on my way, picked up no problem. Easiest way to go. They have everything for my Traverse if I need anything else, she said glass, wheels, engines, transmissions ect.

Called to see if they had vehicles on the lot for a specific year range. They confirmed that they had several. Told them what part I needed and they said they didn't inventory it but he would ask someone about it (its a rather easy part.) I offered to email them pictures of what I was looking for and they weren't interested. They called back 10 minutes later and recommended I contact the dealership (for a 2000-2005 vehicle.) Basically they didn't want to actually go to any of the vehicles they had on the lot to look for the part. I offered to go search myself and they said no. Guess I'll go Seek help from their competitor in town. I'm sure they don't have a problem actually looking for the part to help a customer.

Bought a cylinder head from them over the phone. Waited a week and called to see if it was out. Then told it wasn't processed yet and couldn't give me an eta of removal. 2 hours later, I get a call saying it's out, so I drive 2 hrs for the part only to find out all the valves are bent. And they don't warranty the valves. Refunds take 48 hrs. What a joke company. If you want to see a circus, have at it.

Their website was nice and was able to find the part I needed at a good price. The only problem is I paid and never heard back. No shipping details or anything. It has been over 3 weeks and I don't think my part is coming.

If I could give zero stars I would. I am very disappointed in the service we received from here. Lisa and Eric were rude, uneducated, and unhelpful. They hung up on us multiple times. Cost us thousands of dollars and a major delay in our customer’s vehicle repair. I will never shop here again and will detour anyone I possibly can from experiencing what we’ve been through.

Purchased screen for a 2009 Prius from Eric. It arrived quickly, but the clock did not work. I called back to ask for another, but he didn't have one. He offered a full refund, but did not offer a partial credit. Who, in their right mind, would want to go through the trouble of removing the part and sending it back, and having no screen. I purchased this because the original part doesn't work anymore. Beware that you may not receive a functional part when ordering from this company, and you will be out of luck!

I had an issue with my diesel truck, especially at highway speed. Tried several things and finally decided to try the ECM. Salvage yard checked the computer and Piper had one. I called, they had the exact one I needed, based on the engine code. They told me exactly what I would get with one little crack on the ECM. Came in just a few days. I installed and my truck runs just like it should. I hope I don't need any more parts like this, but Piper is one place I would buy them from again.

Tried to buy door panels from this place. Won an eBay auction they set up, back in December 2015. They said, oh we lost a part that goes with it. 3 months later, the person who said they would call...never did because she does not work there anymore. I call and they say they will have it to me soon. A week later and the wrong parts show up. I call, and they play dumb with me, and lie about the parts. All the while they were put up for sale on eBay, again, for more money than what I paid. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE SCAMMERS.

Was looking for a trim piece for my car and some logo lettering. They said they had the items but weren’t “willing to price them over the phone” when I asked how much they would be.If I’m going all the way down there I wanna know if it’s even worth the drive before I head down there. He then proceeded to say “nice car ya got there” and hung up on me! Horrible!!!! Don’t take your business here!!!

If I could go lower on rating I would. Rude and belligerent owner. Called to get van towed and fixed on Wednesday. Thought I had worked it out. Mechanic said he could get it worked on by Friday. I even gave directions to their tow driver. Come Friday van was not even picked up. I called the Mechanic who swore he tried to remind the owner about the van all week. He then gave me the owners cell number. I called him to see why He claims he forgot. Insists he can't get to it until next week. I start telling him that's unacceptable and he tells me to quit "whining". I told him not to bother. Called Spillmans in Bloomfield for the tow and Davis Co Tire for repair. Fixed first thing Monday. Only thing wrong was some wires in the engine got cut. Van runs like a top now.

The old man that answered the phone is a rude jackass !, Argued with me about the part I needed, telling me he's a "Ford Expert" and I was wrong. So I called the Ford dealership and confirmed that what I needed was correct, so I called Piper Auto Salvage back with the part name and item number.When the same rude man answered, I gave him the item number and part name, he sat the phone down and could plainly hear him say "I'm letting this ass hole sweat for awhile". After 14 minutes of listening to horrible language in the background, someone hung the phone up !The most unprofessional, disrespectful buisness I have ever dealt with and would never recommend Piper Auto Salvage to anyone ! No wonder they have so many horrible reviews and a 85% return rate on their junk, untested parts ! 👎👎👎😡

Absolutely horrible service! Called about a part for my Ram 3500, Bruce told me he had the part and to call back in 30 minutes. Called back and asked for Bruce but he as gone, the girl said to call back at 4:30.Called back at 4:30 and the girl said Bruce wouldn't be back till Monday morning. Called back Monday morning and Bruce still was not there so she finally asked me what part i was looking for and said they don't have it and it was never in inventory!Who in the hell is Bruce and why did he tell me he had the part!? This place is a freaking joke and is way overrated at 1 star! I will never go back to piper auto salvage and will never recommend them..STAY AWAY! 🐖💩

I needed a TCM for my pickup truck and just because Chevrolet is behind and you can't get them right now this is not the only salvage yard that is doing it but price gouge the part that brand new is only $599 and they want you to pay $3, 000 for a used one that's just ridiculous

Have had terrible service with them twice. Few months back ordered a rear tailgate for a Lincoln aviator to be delivered to Des Moines that they did not tell us the plastic was all busted and glued had to find out when it was delivered a week later. Recently bought a black fender and mirror off them for a Lincoln MKZ also to be delivered to DSM which isn't black its gray so its the wrong color so don't take they're word for anything. The man on the phone told me there was a small dent on the fender about the size of a quarter. Pull the fender out of the box after being delivered a day late and the top corner is pushed out about 1/2 an inch and the paints all chipped. Also way more expensive then other salvage yards.

Called to ask if they had any wheels that would fit my truck that I could use for a spare (so it doesn't have to match the other wheels) and they guy kept getting angry at me for not knowing if the original wheels where chrome dipped or aluminum. Ain't even worth the time to call

They didn’t seem like they cared if they sold a part or not. When they didn’t have it, they never even attempted to locate it for me. The part I was inquiring about normally goes for around $500, so it wasn’t a cheap $10 sensor I was looking to buy.
