I took in three windows to have the glass replaced, windows had a nice satin finish and I get these back, if you want great work done like this then K&K hardware is the place to go, also great customer service

Great hardware store that offers a variety of services. They also have a great fishing section. Today they had a great bin with fishing gear that is 50% off, grabbed these 4 lures for $20 after discount.

I took my chainsaw here to get some repairs. I had ended up causing major damage to the saw but K&K helped me get a replacement through the manufacturer. I did not ask for help they just did it. Really great customer service that is rare today. I will shop here more often.

Rented our tent from them for our wedding and they were fantastic in all ways you want for a tent rental. They got it up pretty fast, the tent was of good quality, were very nice and professional and was able to come the next day to take down. Best part, it was really affordable compared to others in the area. I wanna say we saved over $500 going through them versus other companies we got quotes from for the same size tent.Really appreciated y’all helping our wedding day come together!

What a truly appreciable experience!!First, after visiting... maybe 10... other hardware & garden stores in the area looking for drip system components, I finally got a direct, informed decision that they don't carry them and why. All the other stores, I felt like I was talking martian from the confused and totally uneducated responses I received. Also, many of those stores had me on goose chases running around their stores to an area that consisted of just a soaker hose... UGH, face palm!!!!Apparently, drip systems are illegal in Iowa (yes, I'm exaggerating...) as NOBODY carries anything involving drip systems, even the basic starter kits. Eventually order some things online, however, still needed some miscellaneous connecting parts so I went back to K&K.What a marvelously refreshing competent staff!!!! I took one of the parts in to measure the size and thread so if it turned out I couldn't find any of the parts I needed, I would know exactly what to order online. I wish I had caught names, sorry!! Shortly after getting to the plumbing area, a young man came up and ask if we needed any help. I told him what I was trying to do and the parts I was looking for. He took the part from me, headed straight over a few rows from where I was, measured the part then immediately took us to a different area of the store where he proceeded to find a couple of the parts. On searching for the last part, he couldn't find it, he said "Just a minute", left and immediately returned with someone else, bearded gentleman, who helped us with that last one! Customer service is NOT dead!!!! At least not at K&K, thank you!!!!Even though this store is across town from me, this will be my FIRST stop for any of my homeowner needs from now on!!!

Very poor service. I purchased a firearm and had it shipped here for a transfer, they would not let me pick up the item that I had paid for and said that they wouldn’t give it to me. An FFL licensed dealer should absolutely know the laws on these types of things and unfortunately K&K was clueless in this department, even though they claimed that the sporting counter worker was an “expert”. Luckily another place in town actually knew what they were talking about and was able to get the transfer done for me after K&K refused.

Amazing place. Small town feel. Always plenty of super knowledgeable employees ready to help. Almost everything you need in a small space. Friendly. Lots of tasty sugar waters to trip your trigger. Love it!

Was kinda in a bind looking for a hard to find piece of hardware. Had been to at least 3 other stores…..Brittney and Don was super helpful and went out of their way to accommodate and make sure I had the part I needed. I know it’s prolly just another day for them but man just super grateful and thankful for their help. Definitely recommend K&K, their customer service is flat out hard to beat 💪

Stopped by while shopping in quad cities. Been quite a few years since our last visit. Facility was clean and in good repair. Approached by several staff members offering assistance. Very friendly and knowledgeable, along with aiding us to find the items we wanted. Will shop there again.

The staff is always helpful and eager to assist. The place itself is clean and everything is easily accessible. They have everything you need with a small town Mom & Pop store. If for some reason they don't have something they'll direct you to it or order it asap.in my opinion, i would always check their before Menards or Home Depot.

Fair prices from a locally owned business! Don't forget about their tool rental!Their sporting goods department has always taken great care of me on firearm transfers. You can tell the department manager there actually cares. I was walking in to the store to check on something as he was leaving, he recognized me, and called his staff so he could speak with me even though he was on his lunch.That is customer service!

They have almost everything here. No parts for a 1990 roper snow blower but oh well. Can't have it all. Excellent selection of hardware items lumber etc.

My mother is in a nursing home and her house needs 3 furnace filters replaced. I had purchased replacement filters at K&K in past years for these furnaces. The filters have odd sized widths.Her account at K&K had previously been closed for inactivity.I asked their accounting department to re-open her accountand they added my name and the trust officer's name at her bank, to the account (she is under a conservatorship).The owner then had the account closed (This all happened today 9/12/22)If they didn't want our business all they had to do was ask!My father was K&K's attorney for years.**NO REASON TO EVER DO BUSINESS WITH K&K AGAIN**

Went in while I was here for the holidays after not finding what I wanted at a box store. They had all the things I needed. Friendly employees were very helpful in getting new locks rekeyed to match some existing ones. They also offered us free decorated Christmas cookies at the door. Very festive, and certainly a less frustrating experience than I has earlier at a larger store.

Hometown feel, amazing service.Had a speciality key I needed cut, the big box stores couldn't cut it. K&K not only got it cut for me but did so with service that just went above and beyond.This store has that small town feel to it, from the superfriendly elderly gent that walked me to what I needed to the antique scale that was still in use. A friendly vibe thats both welcoming and familiar.

I had 2 screens that needed to be repaired. It took 6 months for them to get them back to me. They apparently lost them and I had to keep calling them. No apologies what so ever. Very disappointed.... my mom had a horrible experience as well. Yes mistakes do happen so I gave it a try and I had poor service as well.

K & K has never failed me. Their key maker is always spot on, they have just about anything a person could need including small kitchen electrics and essentials as well as wonderful customer service. I have shopped here for over 20 years and I won’t go anywhere else.

I do most of my "heavy" buying with the paint department. Sara, now gone, Ty, Angie and Rose are real experts and are totally customer focused. I go to K&K rather than big box stores and have almost never been disappointed. Great customer service, knowledgeable experts on the floor and in every department. Great to have a "small town" attitude with a store that provides most of what a big box store provides.

Stopped here to get ball canning jars. They were $18 a case. Ask the girl at the front register if they price match she tells me yes. So I get backup to the same register with the jars and then I'm told they do not price match. Jars are $10.50 at Walmart. Well worth the trip to Walmart. Some businesses just like to price gouge on everything I will only be coming to K and K if I have to now

I have been a loyal K&K shopper for years. I'm not the most "handy" person in the world, so it is nice to know that there are knowledgeable employees there that are always willing to assist. This can't be said for the "Box" stores. K&K understands and delivers excellent customer service! Thanks K&K!

Have had several trimmers, gas , battery and needed a reliable brand to replace my existing battery powered Greenworks trimmer that's had nothing but problems in the 2 years I've had it so I did some research and found that K&K is a Stihl dealer and went down and grabbed a new Stihl battery powered trimmer. Great service, assembled it, made sure there was a full battery charge also. Even gave a demo on how to use it....find that at a box store? Didn't think so.
