I have been taking my senior dog, Carla, to Glenroads Veterinary Clinic for about a year and they have been very professional and thorough while taking care of her. Even during the pandemic, Dr. Flickinger has been available for all of Carla's needs whether it be by phone or in person. The support staff is amazing in communication and scheduling and they are so friendly and welcoming. Carla fell asleep for the last time recently, but when I have a pet in the future, I will certainly trust Glenroads Veterinary Clinic to take care of him or her.

I. Love. This. Place. I called to speak to their resident grooming queen Andrea because I was experiencing difficulty having Zeus groomed. I’d been calling all over the quad cities and Andrea was the ONLY person who took the time to actually ask questions and try to understand exactly what Zeus needed, she made sure I knew the cost of everything and was in contact with the veterinary side to get all my appointments lined up. She even squeezed us in to her crazy busy schedule.The veterinary side is amazing as well. All of the girls that work there were incredibly friendly both with me and with Zeus. It was an incredibly refreshing experience! the vet and all the vet techs were primarily focused on Zeus’s safety and comfort (which I know can be a challenge when dealing with a nervous 70 lb pit bull). I could cry I’m so happy with the service and love I received in visiting this place and I don’t think I could ever go anywhere else. Thank you all so much! I brought my sick granddog Sally into their office on a Saturday morning. They did not have an appointment available, but were willing to work her in. Everyone I encountered was personable, helpful and professional. They got me back quickly so the Veterinary Tecnician could take Sally's history. Dr. Skoglund then examined Sally. As she was doing so, she gave the absolute best explanation of what she was doing, what she was looking for, what she was finding, and what it meant, that I have ever received from any veterinarian, medical doctor, dentist, chiropractor, or nurse, ever! She was equally informative with her diagnosis and treatment plan for Sally. Thank you, Dr. Skoglund and the staff at Glenroads for taking such good care for our girl Sally!

We have gone to Glenroads for a few years now and safe to say they are the best. I have been to probably 20+ vets for various animals over my life and have never had such high quality care. I am a health care worker myself and have crazy high standards. Appointments are never rushed and they get a full history on your pet. If you are a regular patient and are having an emergency, they will get you in the same day, maybe even within an hour if urgent (for us once!) Their entire staff seems to really care and their receptionist, Arielle, treats you like family. Highly recommended!

We have been using Glenroads Veterinary Clinic for about 13 years now. They have taken quality care of our cats and golden retriever. They are kind and supportive when your pet is in distress. We are new to the Quad Cities and my 2 year old lab has had serious ear problems off and on since we got him. It seems to develop overnight sometimes and they were killing him the other day and it was breaking my heart so I called Glenroads and explained the situation and they worked me in the next morning. The staff was so knowledgeable and so kind. The veterinarian even called and thoroughly explained what the issue was and is working on a long term solution which is way above and beyond what the last vet did. I've now set up appointments for my other dog and cat, I'll trust GVC with all of my fur babies needs :)

Yesterday our 9 year old dog was diagnosed with a tumor in his spinal cord and had lost mobility in his legs. Unfortunately this condition was not curable and we had to say goodbye to an amazing family member. The staff and doctor at Glenroads were very professional and comforting during this difficult time. I’d highly recommend them and they’ll definitely be our first choice if we do decide to ever adopt again.

Glenroads Vetrinary Clinic is an absolutely amazing place to bring your fur babies to. The staff is amazing and so heartwarming. They will do everything in their power to help you. My cats love the staff as well. The groomer, Andrea, is also great. My cat requires grooming every couple of months and she comes out looking like a million bucks. Glenroads vet clinic is the place to go!

Glenroads has taken care of my pets since I moved to the Quad City area six years ago. My dog, Tucker, has an autoimmune disorder as well as IVDD. He is in constant need of care and Glenroads has been there with me every step of the way. They are friendly, professional, and make you feel like part of the family. Our cat was also just diagnosed with cancer and they are working tirelessly on finding the best option for Binx. I wouldn’t take my fur kids anywhere else!

Me and my family take our pets here. They are amazing. God has really blessed the world by having them here. We had to come to the hard family decision to put our dog(toy poodle) Alli of 15 years down. They were very supportive and very kind. They comforted us and the vet held my hand afterwards as I was crying over my baby girl. Just today we got a sympathy card in the mail from them and everyone signed it. I can't tell you how much that means to me. It's something I will hold onto and treasure forever. As a person who loves her pets like they were her children, I feel calm and have no anxieties leaving my babies with them if our family is traveling out of town. They are just simply amazing. They are our pets second family.

I took my senior dog to Glenroads for the first time and was blown away. Even with the pandemic, they were responsive and my dog was in and out in 20 minutes. The doctor took time to explain my dog’s exam and answer any questions. Receptionists and techs are also extremely kind. I’ll be back!

I would absolutely not reccomend Glenroads for senior pets . The veterinarian that took care of my little shih tzu jumped to euthanasia even though she had clearly been ask to give me every option available to save my little girl. Yet after getting a second opinion from another vet I learned differently. Please beware before taking your senior dog here. I feel very mislead and misinformed and because of this I no longer have my baby girl and still to this day am heartbroken.
