Every DG boasts coupons. But it takes 20 minutes to load the app set a password get a code and then clip a 1.50 coupon to buy laundry soapIt worked for one of 5 times for me. The cashiers never know what to do except charge customers as they do not use the app nor know how to work it. We were overcharged 1.50 today after wasting time adding the app and going through all the steps. Not our first attempt. Have tried numerous times in the past at several stores. No one knows how it works. Please stop advertising digital coupons if cashiers do not honor them and are not able to assist in check out issues. Way too frustrating. You owe us 1.50 today DG! I still have the coupon clipped in the app and receipt showing no 1.50 savings

This Dollar General has charming staff and a convenient location. The prices for brand-name items are a little high, but some things are reasonably priced. The store layout is small and well organized and the cashier is always fast at check out; so this is a great place to pop in to when you're in a hurry.

A messy store. Long checkout line and strange configuration. I went to buy greeting cards which are very nice and quite affordable there. I spent almost $40 on sundry items. There is a lot of merchandise in a limited space, but a better ongoing oversight plan seems prudent as this disorganized messiness is not a new phenomenom at this store.

Just today not usually having to wait in line for more than 10 min. Wish i woulda grabbed a hand basket! An p.s. found one of their digital price checkers in the spice aisle. Turn it in but noone would've found it.

One cashier while store was busy. I understand it happens as i have worked in retail but when your time is limited. Its a pain and a tad annoying. Overall a decent experience.

My daughter needed some things just hours before going into the hospital to be induced to have her first son and my first grandson. The drinks I purchased and dropped off at her home, had been opened and drank out of. To me this is VERY serious. It's something if I missed it as I did .. , they should automatically check and notice. I am lucky she noticed and did not from it. Between germs, disease and even he possibility of someone slipping a drug in it.. This is something that really was upsetting to me and dangerous. Please, always check these kind of things.. both the public and any workers .. could had really ended badly.

This specific location usually is super busy and many of the employees seem to prefer to talk to each other VS helping customers. The lady that helped me this day was at least super nice. Normally I'll avoid this location unless it's a emergency

Has most everything one needs without the drive. So many of their $1-2 pricetags are very helpful when looking for ways to help local food pantries with the things that are not covered by EBT, like dish and laundry soap, personal items, and modestly priced clothing.

Absolutely love this location. Everyone is nice and on their game when it comes to knowing where everything is. The perfect location to shop. Can get quite busy,but over all it's an amazing one.

Only one gal working the ck out five people in front of me and seven behind me . Tye guy in front of me had a cart jam packed full as it could be .I watched as he put things on the counter then after she rang it up he put it back in the cart . Proublem is he covered up a bunch of things he never took out so he got them free. I was about to say something but then I thought twelve people in line and they wouldnt open another line . Nope!

Very cluttered store. Disorganized and sloppy. Expected more out of a store in the middle of Bettendorf. The store down on Grant st. is much cleaner and more organized. I still managed to get what I needed regardless of the look of the store.

Honestly have only been in a Dollar General a handful of times. I expected cheap prices, not to pay more than just going to Walmart for food. It’s convenient but definitely not a bargain.

Always busy. A mother and child were checking out. Child was screaming. Clerk tried every method to get the attention of the child. It did work. For a few minutes. Thank you.
