I'm been all over North America. Lived in Texas for over 20 years. This Bronco burger is one of the best I've had. Get it with cheese, bacon and silverware, you can thank me later. Great service, great malt. Fried pickles better than the deep south. Great food, great Iowans.Also, their tenderloin is EXCELLENT!

First time in this restaurant. Was greeted at the door by the owners and offered a seat anywhere I would like. I asked some questions about the menu and they were very good about answering all my questions. I'm leaving full and happy. Food was phenomenal(especially the crispy fries!) Look forward to the next time I get to drive thru Belmond, I'll be stopping again for sure.

My husband and I were in Britt for a memorial for my brother, The last day of our trip we were looking for a great pork tenderloin sandwich. We Googled it and learned about the Tenderloin Trail. It lead us to the Belmond Drive-In. Wowser! Best tenderloin ever, Breaded not coated, great flavor and the pork was tender and juicy. Staff was friendly and inviting. We will be sure to return next time we're in Iowa.

Stopped here for food on our family road trip. This stop was pre-planned as I found it while searching for restaurants on our route. The website was very easy to navigate and had pictures of the food along with prices. So we had our entire order typed up 2 days ahead lolWe got our food to go and went to a park nearby cause our kids had a LOT of energy to let out.Our food was great! I meant to get a breaded tenderloin but accidentally ordered the grilled tenderloin. But it was GREAT!! Very juicy! Delicious!!We didn't get any of the condiments with our tenderloins but they were still delicious without them!!My kids got grilled cheese sandwiches, fries, and onion rings. I tried a bite of all their stuff and it was all great! Especially the fries!!I got sweet tea and it was good! I'm always scared ordering sweet tea at places cause it's either not sweet enough or WAY too sweet. Yours was perfect!I messaged their Facebook page the other day(after hours) asking if they were kid friendly expecting a response the next day. I got a response almost instantly which was neat! They said they were very kid friendly!! I was excited to eat inside but my kids needed to run around at a park and eat.I'm very happy with myself for finding your place!! If we ever are in the area again, we will 100% come again!!!Thank you!!

As I am in search of the best tenderloins, I came across the Belmond Drive Inn. I read that this place has one of, if not the best, in the star of Iowa. I’m happy to report, it is one of the best. Top two for me, and it was WORTH the little stop. It’s at a little cafe, with great service, and unique, old school interior.

Great small town diner! Hamburgers and chicken sandwich were devoured. My husband got the messy, yet delicious, Bronco burger and thought it was fantastic! We got ice cream for dessert and everyone left full and happy.Our server forgot to check in with us a couple times. She was very busy helping others and working the drive thru window. She was all smiles tho and laughed at our dumb jokes.Great experience here!

Food was quick and tasted great. I would have given five stars but the waitress messed up on my bill and charged me for 2 sodas that I didn’t have and one meal was suppose to be a kids meal but was charged separately. The food was Great!!

I drive school bus for two different school system so I travel often to many different towns. This place here had one of the best tenderloins I've tried lately. Not too thin and not too thick. The fries are great as well. Belmond is lucky to have a place like this to get away from the house and have a nice quality meal.

Don't know if it was the owner or manager but received the worst service ever. Sister wanted to try something new and ordered the cookie dough blitz.... Took one bite it was disgusting so i went back and asked if it was possible to switch it out or get a refund. The nice red head cashier said she had to ask, when she did the manager loudly goes "did she order it? And she didn't like it? That's not my problem". Excuse you ma'am as a manager it is your problem to correct a situation. After a while she did refund the money but made a snarky remark "next time order something you like" before closing the window in my face. They say to support your local businesses but it's difficult to do so when you're met with a horrible attitude. Mind you everything there is nothing to rave over and extremely overprice.

Nice family run restaurant. Great food and wonderful ice cream. Staff very pleasant.The owner paints pictures and displays them. Very beautiful.Prices reasonable, would recommend others to enjoy the welcoming atmosphere.

A small little non chain store place to eat. Food really was amazing (fries and onion rings amoung the best I've ever had!) service was good. Inside is simple but was nice and clean. Parking lot near the door was full and we parked around back it was wet and a bit slippery to navigate, you could blame that on the weather. Bathrooms were very clean.

Best service ever. Part of my dining experience is the interaction between myself and the wait staff. I could tell Jessie really loved her job and made my visit there memorable. With 8 in or party she made sure everyone was her priority. Make sure you ask for her.

Fish sandwich and French fries were fabulous! Onion rings very good too. Tenderloin came without mayo and pickles, which left it a bit dry. Buns were very good. Malt was so-so and came in styrofoam cup, even though we were dining in. I dislike styrofoam cups, and it is against their policy to get an extra glass when sharing a malt. . .I would have been happy to pay an extra 50 cents or a dollar for a plastic cup, but not an option. We'll definitely be back, but won't be ordering malts. They don't give you a bill, one simply pays electronically at the counter. So, you have to estimate your bill to figure out a tip if you're leaving cash on the table.

Stopped while on a road trip. Always love the option of going to small town restaurants over big chain restaurants. Was not disappointed. Great food at good prices. Friendly staff, quick service. Will definitely stop again if nearby.

Stopped for the Breaded pork tenderloin! It was delicious crispy yet juicy! Fries were great as well. Also had a black raspberry shake. Picked up my tenderloin trail passport, going to try to hit a few places soon. I will definitely stop here again!

Portions where small, pricing was extremely expensive. Poor option chose poor and not many to chose. The candy dispenser had old candy in it not safe to eat. Would not recommend to eat at. Very not good

Not sure the tenderloin was the "best" I've ever had, but still pretty good. Cute atmosphere, friendly staff, took order with an iPad, which is pretty impressive for a small town. Flies were still there. Definitely worth the stop if passing through.

I came here with my mother last week after hearing about their distinguished award from the Iowa Pork Producers for the best pork tenderloin sandwich in the State of Iowa. They are definitely very deserving of the award! I also had a blueberry shake which was great as well! My gripe is there were way too many flies circling me and the table, and they need to go to bigger efforts to get rid of them in an area for eating.
