The older ladies who work there are great as well as some of the young people, but we have found so many expired products on the shelf and rotten produce (or almost rotten) it is not worth the extra prices. If they would reduce prices a little or go through their produce every morning to get rid of the rotten stuff it might be worth the convenience of it being a few blocks away. Rotten produce and expired dairy is the line for me and my husband

Prices are sometimes too high, they look at me like I'm weird, almost nothing organic and they sell fake Esco Bars. My cousin Kody at the HaZy HideAway in Cedar Rapids taught me about Esco Bars and how to spot a fake. As soon as I opened the package from the Country Foods I knew it was fake but even after that, nothing came out when I puffed it. Took it back the next day with my receipt and tried 3 more Cartel Esco Bars and same thing. Grape ice is purple not blue, there's an authenticator on the side of the box, dude even told me to check it when I was in the store but I was in a hurry.

Highly overpriced ever since New Management they boosted up everything!Example:Doritos $712pack of pepsi $93 PK bell peppers $6.99!you can go 1/2 block over to the Dollar Store & get everything for literally half the price & it's better quality.

The staff are full of great people, some are personal friends of mine. Though one of the higher-ups (I wont name names) is rather disrespectful to employees. He rarely gives days off, and visibly dislikes his work force. No mask requirements, and most products are slightly overpriced, likely to make up for recent lack of business, which is likely because nobody ever wears masks inside

A local store that I would love to frequent. However, none of the employees wear masks, including those preparing, cooking and breathing all over the food they serve. No attempt to ask people to social distance, obviously the owner does not care about his customers, therefore, I don't care if he goes out of business

Went there the other day for groceries for dinner. The place looks like it hasn't been updated since the 80's original coolers included. The produce was rotting at an accelerated rate, with expiration dates about five days out looking like it expired yesterday. My guess is because they're being kept in 40+ year old coolers. That being said I wouldn't trust the meat. You'd think with the jacked up prices the owner would invest in his business a little better.

Selection sucks, and the prices are ridiculous. Alot of times you will see rotten, or discolored meat on the shelves. They don't carry alot of basic stuff, especially for people who are trying to eat better. I would give 0 stars if I could. Belle Plaine seriously needs a different grocery store.

Love that we have a full service grocery store for such a small town. We all so appreciate that. Service is fast, friendly and helpful. Love to go to country foods!

A quaint grocery store offering surprising selection given it's rural locale. Their deli serves a rotating, daily menu and their meat department hosts a wide range of fresh cut choices. Recently, they've added iced and hot coffee along with slushies. They also offer carry-out service.

Pretty friendly people. Overly expensive items though. Will not get all my groceries there due to extremely high prices. I only go there if I absolutely can not make it to Tama/Toledo AND I can not wait till morning for what I need.

Convenient shopping in Belle Plaine, Iowa, at the intersection of 13th Street, 7th Avenue and Main Street. The staff is friendly/courteous and the food selection is very good! Just a few minutes from anywhere in BP.

No employee wearing a face mask, even person breathing on all the food served at lunch counter. Clerks not reminding people about social distancing.Seems the owner does not care about customers, this former customer does not care if your business fails.

We went to this store just to grab some essentials but It's pricey on some things you could tell alot of people don't shop there it's o.k. place but I wouldn't recommend to do and major shopping.
