Absolutely outstanding service by the vet, techs and the receptionist! My cats tail was bleeding from an accident on Friday night, on Saturday morning I was trying to get her in as soon as possible. Called this vet and he was able to see her later that morning. She needed a small surgery that the vet performed that same day and I was able to take her home to recover later in the afternoon! He was VERY professional, calming, and informative before and after her care. All this was very affordable as well. I HIGHLY recommend this vet!

Been going here for years the vet is awesome He took care of two of my son's dogs that has passed and now he's taking care of my puppy very friendly and caring of all my dogs , the staff is very friendly and helpful

Had to find a vet close since I have a puppy that got hurt. They were so kind and able to get us in the same day - plus give some puppy shots since we were already there.Receptionist when making that appointment was friendly and got us setup quick. Vet saw us when we got there on time and we were in and out in a timely manner while being professional and informative.

I have taken so many different animals here over the last 20 years. From dogs, cats, birds, arms rats, the Avoca Veterinary Clinic has always treated my animals with care, empathy, and love. They have even gone so far as to let me bring my dog over on a Sunday because she was just that much in need. From Doc Hoffman to Doctor Schultz, the receptionists and the kitties that greet you when you walk in.... They are always my first choice when it comes to my fur babies' care. Nice staff who took us an hour early because my paranoid brain makes me thinkbit takes longer to get to places than it actually does. Simple in and out visit and the doc was happy to answer all my questions and make sure we were taken care of

Very Happy with them! I am very picky who I leave my bulldog with and they took great care of her. Plan to use them again this year. They even let me get her after hours cause I missed her so much. Super Friendly staff!

Dr. Schulz is a great vet. Cheryl and the other girl are just awsome! They saved my Buddy and treated them like their own dog the whole time he was staying there. They all go the extra mile to help animals! The whole team is just great!!!

I trust them with my dogs 100%, today I took my puppy in for his first shots and they were outstanding, the vet is very informative and explained everything very clearly and got my puppy set up with literally everything, and heres the kicker.. They are EXTREMELY affordable!!! I was afraid it was going to cost an arm and a leg and was pleasantly surprised!!! I would absolutely recommend them to anybody!

This is the best vet for our cats. We've tried other more expensive places, but here they really care for the animals, and have great expertise. Dr. Gary has saved our pets when they were really sick, and keeps them well with regular check ups and vaccinations.

I drive for a short bit just to see this vet. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Both my dogs like the vet, so I cannot go wrong there. They continue to work with me and have squeezed me in on short notice. I would recommend Avoca Vet to those who are willing to travel a short bit.

I wish I would have read these reviews prior to taking my dog to this clinic as I would have gone elsewhere. I had given my dog Aleve for 3-4 days (one tablet each morning) to aid her with some hip pain she had. I didn't know this was bad for dogs until she didn't seem to want to eat and had thrown up a few times. I was enroute to my normal vet in Oakland, but he wasn't going to be in until the afternoon so my wife called this clinic, which was close to where we were at, and they could see her right away. I wanted to get her looked at ASAP so we chose to go to here. The vet gave me the bleak and the best outlook, but didn't really know where to go from there. They didn't have a blood machine so a blood test would take a day to get the results back. I asked since it was going to take a day that maybe the best thing to do would be to leave her overnight and I would run the blood test over to Omaha the following morning to speed things up. He said that would be fine and would get her stabilized and start her on some antibiotics and then see how see was doing the following morning. My wife and I didn't get the feeling from him that she was too bad and just needed a bit of time to hopefully recover. The next morning my wife called before I was going to leave for the clinic to tell them I was on my way and to do the blood test. The vet then told her that my dog had passed away. This was just a huge shocker for us as we didn't get the indication from him that she was in that bad of shape. We picked her up yesterday and he didn't even come out to offer condolences or to say what went wrong.All I can say is if you have a sick pet please go elsewhere. This clinic may be fine for boarding and annual shots, but not for sick pets. I feel if I would have taken her my normal vet he might have saved her life. I thought I was doing the right thing by getting her to someone quicker, but it didn't turn out that way.

Took all three of my dogs to get rabies shot and it was reasonably priced and got us in and out quick which was convient for us since our dogs were a little edgy (since it was a new place). Definetly recommend.

They messed up my cats declawing. It was hobbling around for a week before they had to do another surgery on it (which they charged me for)thought it might have just been an honest mistake. Until this week.My dog got into the trash and got sick, and was placed in this vets care. They didnt seem to be too concerned about her, just told me they'd get her what she needed and to come back monday to get her (i left her on a saturday) i came back monday, was told she couldnt go home yet, and she looked much worse, but was sitting in a back room by herself not being looked after.I got a call an hour later that she had died.I dont believe this vet did what was necassary to save my dogs life.I will never return. I will never forgive them.
