It's ok. I refuse to use self checkout so thankfully there are usually 3 real cashiers. Rarely is there someone to help you find something. Ask a customer and you get better service than an employee.

I am here visiting family. Basically I have to say that if I didn't know that I was in another state...it feels that if you've been to one Walmart, you've been to them all. This one felt like the rest. However, there was only self checkout available. I have a spine injury and sometimes it's difficult for me. It would've been nice to have 1 lane open as an option for those who need a bit of help. But signs of the times.The produce department was very nice and fresh.Overall nice store...clean

We live in rural Iowa between 3 Walmarts. We have used this one numerous times for our pick-up orders. The people have always been very helpful and polite, loading up our groceries. We appreciate their help! Thanks 😊

Not bad, nice to have a Walmart relatively close. Typical superstore Walmart (other than they do not take back soda bottles for $, but they certainly CHARGE you for them during your purchase). They should at least have a machine, they have a coinstar where you can turn in your change, but no way to get your deposit back from the place you PAID a deposit?! Other stuff standard, fair to middling Vision Center - the "visiting" optometrist doesn't pay much attention though, keep that in mind, make sure he is engaged before you say anything important. During my visit he asked me a question about a vision issue I had just spent the last 5 minutes telling him about, he COMPLETELY ignored me, so he may have early senility issues, who knows... First time I have had this EVER happen with a medical "professional" but hey, it is the rural Midwest...

It’s located far enough from I-80 to not be highly trafficked, but not too far to be inconvenient if you really need a Walmart Supercenter. Atlantic, Iowa is a rural town with a population under 7,500 people. I there are a few fast food and sit-down restaurants, but don’t expect to find them open very late. This is not a 24/7 kind of town.

Great store. Even as some prices are skyrocketing, Walmart keeps certain everyday items affordable. This store is always clean. Checkout is fast. This is my go-to store for groceries, clothes, and much more!

Shopping here was just fine, I bought a box full of bananas and had workers staring at me, following me and when I finally made it to self check, the nice employee there came over when I was ringing them up and stared at my cart full of bananas (and zucchini) as if expecting me to steal them like the banana maniac I seemed to be! Overall, friendly workers if not a little suspicious.

Came in for an oil change, as you can see from the pictures, it obviously wasn't done. Look how brown the oil is. Fresh oil is always a very light color. Don't know if you can tell from the dip stick that it is dark and over filled. Also, now my tire censors don't work either.

Most check outs are automated but still a good place to find almost anything. Lots of good winter sales. They no longer carry squishmallows!

We had a day off in Atlantic on tour, visited Wallmart, mainly to kill time. It was a fun visit, good selection of products and etc. Being from Europe, this visit was a deliciously small town american experience. You had the overweight people on their electric scooters, dudes wearing only their denim bib overalls, the whole shabang. These places do exist in real life after all.

Auto Service CenterWe experienced a flat tire late on a Saturday night. Sunday morning, the crew in the Auto center took our car in, inspected the rim, replace the tire and sent us on our way in less than 30 minutes. Friendly staff, expert service, and good advice on options.Thank you

Walmart has become a mess since the cashier less check outs have come out. The isles are always filthy. When you need help you can't find it. Cardboard pieces laying around. Sam would roll over in his grave if he could.

Had to grab just a few things and was able to do so quickly. In and out in no time. The only glitch was the machine ran out of paper so did not get a receipt. Which some of the things were going to be consumed before we even got home.😋

It would really be nice if we had people instead of a machine but don't get it right half the time and you'll get a better rating way better if you would get people in cashiers back in there

Used the pickup optionPretty easy to get turned around out back and park my Bull Hauler - this was pretty late close to their shut down but the guy was still super cool and quick to bring my order out

I had a great experience shopping here September 20,2020. Was able to find all the things I needed. Staff were helpful attentive and not rude. The only thing that I have found bad is they don't always have enough check out clerks on weekends. Which make it a long wait to get your things bought. I have shopped there for years. I have worked in previous jobs in the past with certain employees who have worked there and been friends with a few. But it has never caused problems with professionalism on staffs part or mine. A very nice place to to business.

Rearranging store, seems like a good new floor plan. This store was well stocked and products easy to find. Like how they have set up their pick up to the west side of the building. Leaving parking for customers so they don't have to go out of the way to get in building. Shenandoah could learn a thing or two about parking. Elderly without handicap stickers have to walk what seems like a mile in Shenandoah so thanks Atlantic for caring!Seemed better organized than most Walmarts. Also liked the new snack section at the front of the store. Moved the pet section to the back near the groceries. There were 3 open checkouts for those wanting to use them over the self checkouts.

Wow! Waited 45 minutes for someone to cut fabric. At least 5 separate associates walked by us. Each one said they would find someone to help. We finally left all of our potential quilting purchases and walked out of the store. I have no idea how they ever sell any sewing supplies or fabrics…

Even worse than a normal Walmart! Checkout lines were ridiculous! The self checkout line was half the width of the store! The normal checkout lines, the ones with an actual employee working, were longer yet. Of course the normal checkouts were a very few in number!! Walmart...hire some more employees so that your customers aren't waiting an hour to checkout!!!!!!!!!!

Was there to pick up order. They brought my order out quickly. They are courteous careful with my bags. I always get my full order and never have had a problem.
