I have never had a better experience with an employee. No disrespect but there is an asian lady named Sarah that was so helpful. She was working the stocking night shift and helped with everything. I hope she gets one because she deserves a raise.

This store is very clean, well organized and well stocked. Prices are consistently better than a couple of local supermarkets. Self checkout is very smooth, and staffed for assistance when needed

Stay away from their auto center. Made an appointment to get four new tires. They took my phone number but no tire size and set appointment. Get there and am told by idiot guy behind the counter I didn't have an appointment. I proved I did but he said my name wasn't there. Turns out whoever had my number before me was the name it was under. Then he said he had one tire for my car and it would take three weeks to get the other three. He says snarky "thats not a size we normally carry." I have a very common car. I called Windsor heights and got all four tires done. Only bright spot is the lady who showed up and tried to help. Idiot guy needs retrained so he actually knows what he's doing.

Staff (fairly sparse) is helpful if you can find someone. Wish they had more cash registers that are staffed by employees. I'm not too fond of them changing food area from being served by the pound to be served by the piece.

Not too crowded early, then got busy! Locations of items moved again. Many items NOT available, we were told because of "theft", so ONLY could be ordered "online now". THAT'S A Shame!!! Maybe I wanted to compare scent & price of men's deoderant for my husband, now I can't.

Store remodeled in last year. Still confusing but will adjust over time. Wish there were maps of areas inside. Parking still good. Limited human checkouts which is frustrating.

There are a lot of nice employees working here. They go out of their way to help and do it with a smile. However, there are a few that are the complete opposite and seem to almost go out of their way to take the grievances for their job on the customer. This is the reason it's not 5 stars.

I had no appointment. The tire guy said come in, we have time to work on your tire, super nice guy. The other one working the counter said, it'll be about a hour, close to 4 hours later I was almost done. In that time they rescheduled a oil appt bc the kid doing them had effed up the previous oil job and it was a great reason to never go there AGAIN for anything that keeps my cars running and moving.

The service and staff of this location is excellent! I tend to use different stores on a regular basis in Ankeny. Walmart has thus far been the best. Furthermore, while using self check out, I forgot my phone at the register your staff chased me out the store to make sure I had my property. thanks again for a very pleasant shopping experience.

Not a kind experience but this Walmart gets the job done. One cashier (older lady, obese, long greyish-silver hair) was giving me the stink eye for the longest time instead of doing her job, which is the only thing she should be doing but can’t even do that. Very rude and uncomfortable. You could see the entitlement behind her eyes. Even the cashier I was with wasn’t so pleasant (seemingly snickering at me), but she did do her job more effectively than the elderly woman.

Don't expect anyone to be working the cash registers. Even with hundreds of dollars in your cart, they'll expect YOU to ring yourself out, then harass you as you leave to make sure you rang everything up correctly.

Large store with everything hard to find. Asked two clueless employees for assistance and while they were kind enough to look on their phone for the items I was looking for, they were unable to locate items and had to repeat both they type and description several times.Store is fairly disorganized and not very clean I guess that is expected in walmart anymore.Other employees were less friendly or helpful.

Never had an issue. Gets the job done. Older gentlemen in fragrances said they were out of a perfume. I asked if he could look at other Walmarts nearby. He said he can't do that and walked away. Since when can a big store like Walmart not be able to check near by stores?? Frustrated.

Mary Ann who works guest services couldn't be more rude if she tried. If you're that miserable at your job then maybe you should find something else to do or quit, instead of making the shopper experience a negative one.

Came today for a phone mount for my car. The one I wanted was shown available in the store online. The employee I had the pleasure of speaking with in the electronics department showed me the mounts. They were all locked up behind glass so not only could I not find the only I was looking for but I could not visually see any of them to know if any of them would fit my Galaxy 23 ultra as it's a large phone. I told the employee the one I wanted and I was told they were all right there. So I took out the Walmart app on my own phone to show him exactly what I was talking about. He had to make me back out of my app to a specific page so the employee could do their job to find the product only to tell me I now needed to head over to the auto parts section to find the phone mount I am looking for. I found an entire lock wall of glass and no employees this time. I left. Most horrible experience just wow.

I have no desire to come back to this auto center. Left my car to have tire checked. 1hr ahead of schedule appointment. Came back 30mins after originally appointment, only to find out that they wouldn't even look at car for 2more hrs!! Such a waste of time!! Only Bright spots in this auto care area is the worker STEVE!!! He truly seems to care about his job!! Unlike several of his uppers I've had interactions with. Hire more Steve's WalMart!!!!!!

Good store to shop in. I went in just to get a couple pints of great value ice cream and it came to $3.10, and when I was searching my pockets for the last .10 cents, the cashier lady said she got it and paid the rest as I found my change, so that was really nice of her to do that for me.I usually go there to return cans and bottles and rarely ever shop there but, I have been parking near there to use the wifi also so that's nice I can pull up to the side of the building to connect and I don't even have to get out of my car. It's been a good experience for me so far.

If you should encounter a problem and it can't be remeied on the store level good luck...The customer service line isn't any better. No accountability anywhere just pass you on to the next person that doesn't have a clue or crital thinking skills. Spend your money elsewhere because if you ever need assistance you will be despointed.
