This Target store is very clean and well-stocked. They have a fairly good selection of name-brand and store brand grocery and personal care items. Their store-brand prices are significantly better than the name-brand items. Their non-grocery selection is good, and is well rotated with the seasons and holidays.

Great store. Great selection. They need more checkers if they're going to limit self checkout to 10 items. Two people with full service check out is ridiculous.

I really like this Target location, always clean, stocked shelves and most employees are friendly. Till we went to Starbucks today, the young gal was short and so bothered doing her job. I’m not sure she really wants to be there.

I recently (10 days ago) had surgery on my ankle. I crunched my way in to get some deodorant and body wash to find not one single electric cart working. I had to crutch my way through the whole store and then got watched the whole time while management stood in a circle talking and spreading rumors about the other staff members. We need new managers here at this specific location asap. They’re a joke

There are never enough cashiers; the self-checkout is limited to 10 items or less; the self-checkout terminals are difficult to use, because the touchscreens aren't calibrated properly; and the produce isn't bar-coded, so it always requires manual entry. If Target wants to make checkout this difficult, the simple solution is to not shop here in the first place.

Ordered a couple Funko Pops online and went to pick them up 2 hours later with the curbside delivery app. After they brought them out I opened the bag to check them and and discovered that 1 of them was damaged with tears and dents on top of the box.Obviously the person packing this had time to realize and see this, I would really just like to know what the hell goes through a persons mind when they decide to grab a damaged item, look at it, and say ok, let's deliver this to the customer, I'm sure they will be completely ok with this and won't say anything.Thank God Targets return policy is simple, so I got it taken care of inside. Once I got back to the section I found an employee who was more than helpful to go in the back and find 2 more that were in good condition, so I ended up leaving with an extra 1 I didn't intend too. So it all worked out in the end.

Love this location, however they recently started 10 items or less in self checkout and it’s terrible! There is not enough people working the cash registers, leaving long lines to wait in. Then, I look over at self checkout and it is EMPTY… nobody using the self check out but the register lines are long as can be. I miss being able to do self checkout no matter how many items in your cart. I will be heading back to Walmart for their self checkout.

The worst target. They have no carts available. I was in the other day and had all my stuff on the belt to check out. Went to the next lane to get a drink while my son was in the cart at the checkout and I come back and the dude is like hey I’m closed. So rude. Dont shop here.

Ankeny target 01/11/202410:00am- Went to target to buy Pokémon cards, a woman from excell marketing was stocking cards. I was there for about 2-3 minutes, she looks at me and threatens to call the police and have me arrested, accuses me OUT OF NOWHERE of harassment/stalking. She told me that she couldn’t put any more product up while I was there.I talked to the manager at target and called target corporate. While I was talking to the manager another customer came in and she had no problem with that person shopping oddly enough. I now realize that more than likely she was trying to scare me off to have her friend come in and scalp cards.Being slandered/defamed by an excell employee was embarrassing. I won’t be push around or scared off.

This store is always clean. Things are where they say they are on the app. We are recently a soy free family due to a genetic medical condition. I find so many food options at this store that I feel good about feeding my family. My last trip here I found a pretty sweet slime cup while waiting for my caffeine kick at Starbucks. It reminded me of Goosebumps. My 5 year old and I are now sharing it! Love shopping here!

I want to checkout and the only lines open are the self checkout while I'm looking at three employees laughing. They have a sign posted that says self checkout is 10 items or less, but there's no other lines open. This is why I buy everything online.

I had 14 small items, they wouldn’t let me check out at self checkout, and forced me to walk my pregnant self all the way to the open registers. Absurd.

Employees need to be trained for WIC items / scenarios. Not to go into detail but as a former Target FrontEnd worker I was disappointed. I had 4 employees (at least 1 ETL) & I think an AP employee came up to “resolve” the issue. Which if the employees had listened to me as a guest it wouldn’t have been needed or if the employees were simply trained it might not have been a problem at all.

Target is great for personal items, items for your home or bread but their clothing lineSucks and they tend to cater to the teens. I wear a size 14 and can never find anything I like I'm a little to old to wear shrunken tops and holey jeanes.

The Ankeny Target- young man at customer service was very friendly and efficient- super quick and easy return. Then I shopped around and ended up visiting the fitting rooms twice- the attendant was great- greeting everyone and somehow staying upbeat despite being swamped with put-backs.

I was just there at target to do a inventory audit. But for the most part the employee staff seems very friendly. They do sell cheaper towels that are new cheaper than goodwill or anywhere else for that matter. There clearance is better than dollar general's which font take much.
