Have not had any problems here at all (usually, I buy online and pick up on the way home from work).The balloon popping event was pretty cool. I got 25% off my purchase.

My first and last experience with this establishment. I ordered a gun for a Christmas present and was having it shipped to the store. Was supposed to be there 3 days before Christmas. The system just said pending. Call store they can’t find order number and literally said it was out of their hands. Ask for general manager and she’s not working.Contact customer support after Christmas to find my order was canceled. They weren’t sure why. After minutes of investigating they told me that the item was out of stock and would put me on a waiting list. So this company took my money for an order couldn’t fulfill it didn’t have the decency to contact me about not fulfilling. It held my money through Christmas so I couldn’t purchase another one, but then was out a Christmas present and now they just want to put me on a waiting list as if that’s acceptable and they had no care about the poor customer service or the glitch in the system of being out of stock and was going to refund my money in 7 to 10 days. I still had to wait in order to go somewhere else to purchase another gun.

I wish they would've given me more details when I called the other day about a background check. I passed one in another state and was needing clarification about the process for purchasing a gun online and getting it here, but the guy on the phone seemed short and clearly wanted to end the call. Yes I looked into the laws online, but I've never purchased a gun online before either. My husband and I ended up driving over an hour one way for no reason because the guy on the phone said we just needed to come down and do the background check. I didn't know that I needed to wait until the gun was physically at the store before I could do it. These details are important, especially with these towns being so far apart in this state.

Very wide selection, and friendly staff. Clean bathrooms, and I found what I was looking for really fast. It is very expensive, and I have attached the price and images of some spinning rods for you just in case you wanted to buy one. Thanks for the good time!

The people out side of customer service are rude. They never have what there website says they have. Everything I walk in there I feel like I'm unwelcome. The whole never having in stock what there website say they have is the most unacceptable part. I've driven from the north side of springs all the way to this store because of what the website says they have just to be called a lier and told there is nothing they can do. I all but refuse to use this store ever again.

I don’t mind going to this store, but Kelsie, I am assuming she was a manager was very rude to us and to her customer service associate in front of us. We just wanted to see if there was an easier way to use a coupon to save some money on an item we had already purchased. There wasn’t which was not a problem, but Kelsie instantly got frustrated with us and the woman that was so kindly trying to help us. She had no reason to treat either one of us like that. We weren’t getting frustrated and the woman helping us was just trying to make sure she did everything correctly.

Way too difficult to purchase rifles or shotguns. Long guns are behind the counter which forces you to wait for one of maybe two guys behind the counter to help you, which most of the time makes you feel rushed when they finally get to you. I will stick to scheels from now on because I can handle and get a feel for what I see and like before asking questions or making a purchase. Great store otherwise.

Company is very unprofessional. I tried to contact the company due to a purchase being fraud and they refused to help me or release my funds. I was told that a billing specialist would contact me. NEVER HAPPENED! I asked to speak with the fraud department, they do not have a fraud department. It’s just one department that claims to run everything and knows absolutely Nothing. What kind of company are these people running? Is this the type of company anybody would want to deal with. I didn’t even get an apology in regards to this situation. By far the worst experience ever. I have never shopped here and NEVER WILL!!!! If I could give them a 0 star I would give them one million zero stars this company doesn’t even deserve 1 star

Bought a $240 fishing reel from a really nice guy. Went back for some instruction. Nobody home. Called to set up an appointment. After being transferred three times I hung up and vow never to return. Glad I kept the receipt.Update: After responding online, I went back in and met yet another nice guy. Got me set up and really righted a wrong. Disappointed when he told me he wouldn’t be there much longer.

Christian was very helpful and kind in helping me pick out a fish filleting knife as well as a cutting board and so much advice on catching and preparing a fish. Four stars because before I got help from him, I was standing by the knives for at least 6 minutes, probably 10, with someone who I believe to be an employee (standing behind a counter), walking by and seeing me at least three times and not once being asked if I needed help. I honestly almost went to a different store. After asking another customer where I could get some help, I was pointed to the firearm counter where I was told to go look around the store for a guy in a blue shirt, (rather than him being paged or called) and come back if I couldn't find him. That's when I got connected with Christian, who again, was greatly helpful. Five stars for Christian, but the whole experience beforehand really started things off wrong. Thank you Christian for your help, I sincerely appreciate it 🙂

Great store overall and it's nice that it's so close when I don't want to go out to Bass Pro. HOWEVER, DO NOT come here for archery unless you're just looking to buy some accessories. Nobody is ever there and when they are they are not helpful. Make the drive to Archery Field & Sports in Altoona. They'll take care of you better than any of the local chains and be happy doing it.

Take your bow elsewhere. I called ahead to get an idea of pricing and turnaround time for getting my bow restrung. Its our first time needing this so we were looking to understand how things work. Store manager answered after I selected the option for the hunting counter. She wasn't able to help so she redirected my call to the Lead. I was on the phone with him for 15 mins just for him to talk unsurely in circles about what string I need, if they can order string for me, if they can even service my bow, string pricing (from Sportsman and Amazon), just to tell me they can't be sure until their bow guy looks at it. Told me I could bring it in, and their bow guy would look at it on Saturday when he comes in.Fast forward to Monday 8/28, we bring in the bow with the full understanding that the bow guy is only there on Saturdays. The lead took the bow, filled out a form, gave us a copy for our records, and said they would call us on Saturday after it is inspected. He said they would look at it and recommend string options and how we can repair a stripped screw. Sunday 9/3 rolls around and neither I or my brother received a call on Saturday 9/2 like they said and clearly wrote on the form(both of our numbers were on the form provided by the Lead when we dropped it off). So I call them for a quick status. Gentleman on the phone stated there were no new notes on the form and it didnt look like no repair has been done. Disappointed, I asked him to make sure they call us on the coming Saturday 9/8. It ended up being a repeat of the previous Saturday.Left our bow with them for 2 weeks and ended up not getting anything done or even a courtesy call. Bow was picked up today 9/11 to have business taken elsewhere. It's disappointing because we have such great memories shopping with dad here as kids. That's the only reason they are getting 2 stars otherwise the service we got would be worth only 1 star. This may very well be our last time shopping at this store because customer service goes a long way for us.

I can't say enough good things about Sportsman Warehouse. The prices are better than other big chains and competitive with the internet. There is a good selection in firearms, fishing, and camping equipment. I check Sportsman before the other two big outdoor stores in my area.

I love this store. I've bought the majority of my firearms through them and a large percentage of the ammo I've fired over the years. They usually have a pretty good selection. I think their prices are more than fair. They even gave me a discount years ago to order in a handgun I wanted. They apologized, even though it wasn't even needed. But said it was a discount for the inconvenience. Each employee I've dealt with has been nothing but friendly and most of them are pretty personable people. I will continue to shop here. They are also efficient at what they do.
