I was so eager for Ol to reopen for the season due to this being my #1 pregnancy craving. I messaged the Facebook page to find out, they were so kind as to gift me two bowls of my favorites to get me through until opening this March! I CRIED in joy of their kindness. Now that they have reopened I have waddled in twice this week alone for frozen goodness. I'm tallying up how many times I'll go until my due date this August. Might have to name my son Froyo. Thank you Orange Leaf owners for your generosity!

The customer service is good here. Great smoothies and fro-yo. One main issue I have with the facility is that it appears nothing is wiped down, or even cleaned on a daily basis. Everything has a layer of gunk (dust, spilt smoothy, crumbs, etc.) I would visit a lot more often if I noticed proper cleaning procedures.

Drove 15 min here at 7:15 and was met with an empty store, not even workers inside cleaning. Google said they close at 9:30, store hours on the door were just blank. 😐

There is a constantly changing - wide variety of frozen yogurt options. It is priced based on the size of the cup not based on the number of ounces. Once you fill your cup with your frozen yogurt then you take it over to the toppings area where the person behind the counter adds whatever toppings you want.

the toppings are not self serve, the employees serving the toppings rushed us so none of us ended up getting all of the toppings we wanted. kind of inconvenient, isn’t the whole idea to be self serve??? i will say though it’s nice that they don’t charge by weight. but definitely wish i could put my own toppings on…

Great frozen yogurt! Fast check out, lots of different flavors to pick from. Not sold by wieght sold by size of container, lots of different toppings. Friendly staff and a clean store.

We went recently and the man there was very helpful and just a lot of fun. He was obviously enthusiastic about his product but not overbearing. He made it a fun experience for my out of town family.

Friendly staff and very clean. The toppings and overall experience was good. The product was just, meh. I remember coming here in the past and really enjoying the flavour and texture of the yogurt, but what I got tasted like a product that had been frozen, unfrozen, and refrozen one too many times that contained ice chips and tasted very artificial. Maybe I came at the wrong time and the combination of the age of the product and cycle of the machines was just wrong.

Clean, bright, large selection of frozen yogurt and toppings at a reasonable price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a moderate size parking area and when we were there at night had no problem finding a place. This is a nice establishment on the north side of Ankeny and well worth the extra driving from highway 69.

I took my daughter here last weekend, place was filthy! There were two workers working (sitting on their phones not doing anything) and we were the only customers in there. The tables had dried yogurt all over them, napkins all over the floor, nothing was clean. The topping for the yogurt were old, mushed together and stale. We used to love this place but seems to have gone down hill! Sad! Won’t be going back.

Even though I am lactose intolerant, for some reason I can eat frozen yogurt without any problems. This is my favorite place to satisfy my "ice cream craving". Large selection of flavors and toppings. Self serve right from maker. Extremely cold, great flavor.

frozen yogurt is usually always tasty and location is nice. Parking usual iffy and floor and seats usually dirty as staff doesn't do we good job of cleaning during hours and most employees (which are young teenagers) are constantly on their phones. Our children enjoy their product and close to our house.

Yogurt and toppings were good, topping area was organized and full. The seating area however is gross. Everything is sticky, nothing looks like it has been truly cleaned in a long time, our shoes were sticking to the floor. Saturday's are crazy with baseball, but they need to bulk up their staff then and have someone cleaning as guests finish.

Usually a good selection of flavors. They now charge by the size of the cup instead of by weight. 3 sizes...very kid friendly. Just keep them close in the cramped parking lot (it's situated between a Subway and busy Casey's.)

This is a great place to go when you want a sweet snack that isn't heavy. There are at least 10 selections of flavors to choose from and lots of yummy toppings. My personal favorite is birthday cake frozen yogurt with cherries.

Absolutely superb, the one guy by himself had a good sized line but everyone held onto their patience as we watched him do his best. Soon enough we were at the front and I have to say; Pistachio has become my favorite flavor, don't ever get rid of it.10/10, will visit again.

Love that they offer multiple dairy-free choices of soft serve! Decent prices and a good variety of toppings. Would recommend on a hot summer day or any day really.

I'm from out of state but when I come to Ankeny Iowa my first stop is Orange Leaf, you are always greeted and offered samples, of their products. The place is clean manager is super!! My grandkids love it also. Easy to find parking great but most of all yummy yummy great selection

Store was really filthy. We had to walk, or rather, crunch over fallen toppings on our way to the register to pay. The floors in the seating area were very sticky, and the bathroom was not clean. When we went to put toppings on our ice cream, half of the items were melted, empty, or all stuck together. The two ladies behind the counter did not say anything to us until we paid. One lady was on her phone the entire time. The store was empty except for another customer who came in when we were almost done. It was sad to me that such a fun place could feel so gross.

I went in a hour before closing to find some of the fruits taken out of the topping selection area, and the lady working to not be so friendly. I go to Orange Leaf as the "Healthy Alternative," but when fruit is removed prior to closing it doesn't make for such a happy, healthy treat for me. On top of that, the lady came out long enough to take our money and then run back into who knows where. Almost all the tables were filthy. I'll be stopping at other Orange Leafs from now on.

Place was pretty empty (probably normal for a cooler day) but a very nice treat as always. Plenty of selection (both frozen yogurt and toppings), staff was friendly and there are plenty of places to sit.

Katawna is a great hard and dedicated worker to her job. Shes so kind and I really appreciate her customer service . There was another girl Samantha who wasn't so pleasant. Seemed to have a rude attitude . There was no more liquid marshmallow so I asked if it was possible to get some. Samantha threw a rude attitude at myself, my husband and my daughter. She said " I'll get it filled , I have to fill it" meanwhile she ignored us so we just sat down and ate some of froyo and waited . Another customer and her bf asked Samantha if she could get some out and she also gave same attitude and rudeness. Finally with us and other customers getting frustrated katawna filled it and so I appreciated her hard work and think she deserves some form of a praise. Shes excellent at customer service, very prompt , keeps Orange leaf clean, tends to the customers needs and is always happy and smiling. Thank you Orange leaf for hiring such a wonderful young woman. I hope Samantha can learn how to fix her attitude . Sincerely the burns family ❤️

I️ wish I️ didn’t like frozen yogurt so much because I️ hate going to this orange leaf. They always close earlier than it says in the website, the service is horrible, and the frozen yogurt choice is never great or very consistent. I️ hope someone else opens a frozen yogurt place in Ankeny ASAP.
