I used to think it was so silly that my boyfriend had a favorite gas station. He always puts kwik star on a pedestal, but now I understand why.It is so convenient here! They have a huge selection of food items: fresh food, drinks, donuts, meat, fruits, vegetables... you name it.Friendly staff, plenty of parking, free air, safe pumps. Great rewards program. It's really rare to find a 24-hr place that I feel safe or comfortable in, but kwik star definitely does the job!

I usually have a great experience here but I came here Saturday and got lunch and gas. The lady at the register was extremely rude when I asked for 2 separate orders one for our food the other for gas. Then proceeded to yell through the speaker that I needed to leave the property because I was finished pumping gas. I was eating in my car quick and tons of pumps were open. I was very uncomfortable.

Kwik Star has become a staple of the Iowan construction worker. Multiple options, good food, cheap, & hospitable. This one, is a brown stain of the company imagine. Multiple days of soups being out by lunch, same 5-8items hot foods daily with minimal stocking so if you walk in behind your co-workers. Best of luck getting the meal you wanted. Compacted with just inconsistent of the Ladys at the registers up front, being slow and inconsiderate. (Some days are good, must be about how they're feeling about the day) disappointing

Well, this is getting to be a regular occurrence for us! Sunday morning now includes a drive to Kwik Star on NW 36th Street in Ankeny for a couple jelly bismarks. Always fresh, and if I haven't brewed coffee at home already, the coffee is great too, as it's freshly ground.. The store has everything. I swear a person could live on groceries purchased there. The usual: milk, eggs, bananas, bread, chips, but they have potatoes, onions, ground beef, I could go on and on. I haven't tried them, but I hear their fresh fried chicken strips are the best.Always a friendly staff, and on this morning, Heavenly waited on me and was SO pleasant. Good job Kwik Star!

Fast, have lots of options, always a warm pre made meal. Pizza,burgers,chicken sandwiches,chicken tenders, and so much more. There are lots of options for groceries, too. Eggs,milk,butter, bread, and so much more. Gas station and a car wash. Need dinner no problem there are plenty family sized take and bake meals. You can even call ahead of time and have them make pizza for you. Great gas station and pit stop for a road trip.

I love this store. They are very clean with a great selection of goods. Their bathrooms are the best of any gas station around. We get their fried chicken for dinner once a month or so and love it. It is always fresh and hot. I recommend ordering online with the app. It make it a seamless pick up.

Actually has amazing fried chicken and good deals for food combos for those that need a late night bite. Think my friends and I have gone here for late night snacking atheist several times this month alone. Staff have also been really friendly. 😀

Nort a pleasant experience from this kwik star. Food was cold and chewy, seemed to be put of everything we wanted from the smoothie section and no one knew where anything was.

The lady who was offering samples today made my whole week. I stopped in with a co-worker and was met with a chicken and mash potatoe sample. It was so good I had to get some for lunch and as I picked out my order she gave me a dollar off coupon that came with a 16 pack of dinner rolls!!! I got so much food for under 10 bucks. Thank you sample lady!!!

This place is awesome they have everything and then some. The customer service is great and friendly and they always get me with the 6 count glazed donuts on the way out so cruel lol!!! I will be a life long customer at this location. F.Y.I. try the soups and the prepack pasta dishes for on the go lunches you wont be let down...

I went here for gas last week, put the nozzle in my car to fill it up. I used their locking device on the nozzle so I don't have to hold it down forever while it pumps and I heard it click (thankfully i was outside my car waiting) but it continued to fill and I noticed gas all over the place. Fast forward to today its 60 degrees outside I use the lock and stand outside to make sure it doesnt overflow and the pump over flows again I'm not topping it off either. I talked to a man next to my pump about this being a problem at this gas station and he said alot of people have been having this problem also with the pump over flow without topping it off and that they give no refunds due to their equipment malfunctioning either they say its your fault. Go to Kum and go or Caseys.

This location is in the perfect spot for any of my trips. Their breakfast sandwich selection is fantastic. Their ready to eat food is leagues ahead of other gas stations.

They literally have so much only gas station I know to have shopping carts. You can make ur own frappuccinos. I love this gas station.
