If I could give a 0, I would. I selected 3 bottles of vitamins and the cashier told me they were "buy one, get one free." I knew that but there were no more of each on the shelves. The cashier asked me to go back to the shelves, which I did. There were no more on the shelves, so I waited nearly 5 minutes st the pharmacy for assistance. I was then told by 1 of the 5 employees in the pharmacy (there was 1 other customer at a other pharmacy counter, no customers in the drive-through), that someone would be there to help me soon. After waiting another few minutes, Horatio appeared. I asked him to help me with the 3 BOGO bottles of vitamins. He told me I could get half off each instead. I informed him that the cashier had told me that half off didn't work. He didn't say anything, turned around, and walked a few steps, opened a door to a back room, I presumed. I waited a few minutes but he didn't come back out. I then again went to the cashier at the front of the store and told her what had happened, and asked what to do. She started wringing her hands and said, "I don't handle these situations well", and moved away. I asked her to call the manager, which she did. I explained the BOGO, that there were no more bottles of these vitamins on the shelves, and my interaction with Horatio. Horatio then appeared and denied that he'd left me standing there, and argued that I was rude and unreasonable. The manager ignored him, didn't apologize for the poor service, and said I could come back in 2 or 3 days when they get their next truck in. He also urged me to order online. A terrible experience all the way around, Horatio should not be working with the public, and his manager obviously allows this dismal, rude service. I was appalled.

Thanks to Rachel & the pharmacy staff. I ordered my first refill on a new medication and due to shipping issues it didn’t arrive in time. They gave me what they had in stock which would last me a few days. Sure enough it was shipped the next day and I got the rest of my prescription.Rachel & her staff are very helpful and caring!

I've only had good experiences with the pharmacy here– this review is just for the photo services.I had an awful experience ordering online and having a photo order fulfilled here. I was left waiting for twenty minutes while the only employee in the front of the store looked for my order. He ended up discovering something had gone wrong with the order and didn't know what to do– leading me to call customer support and waiting twenty more minutes for their to tell me they also couldn't help.I ended up getting half of my order fulfilled, checked out, unwrapped the print, and it was printed crooked.When I contacted customer support a second time they said my only option is to resubmit my order, which I will not be doing based on the product I received from the store.

If I could give 0 stars I would pharmacist yelled in my mother face when she was repeatedly told she was using the wrong insurance even from the doctor office and would not attempt to use the correct one. Could not get the right medication for 5 days until I finally just switched to Walgreens down the street. Won’t even do regular business with them for small needs and will go to Walgreens here on out with better customer service and hours. And people that can use correct insurance and not yell at someone. Got a letter in the mail 2 days after with denial with the wrong insurance name on it… Recommend to stay far away from here and go to Walgreens where they care about their clients and have manners.

Pharmacy rep wouldn’t give a flu vaccine because “too busy” with 1 customer. Was told to come back tomorrow, very rude. Signs posted that walk ins were welcome. False advertising

I am in love with this CVS. The pharmacist/staff here go above and beyond. There is Gary who works in the front of the store. Just an awesome man. Then Sunshine in the pharmacy along with the amazing other pharmacists. I moved from California to Iowa and they took the time to help me transfer all my moms prescriptions. They explained to me how the cvs app works with refills. One of the pharmacist wears a continuous glucose monitor. She took the time to show my diabetic mother how it works. Also that it doesn’t hurt. It was the sweetest interaction. I just can’t say enough great things about the people who work here. They make my days better. Being a caregiver to my mother can be hard some days, but they have made filling her prescriptions to easy. Thank you all so much.

EVERYONE IS SOOO NICE!!!!!!Everyone is so helpful and diligent in their duties which provides a timely turnaround all working together. Of course the drive up window is fastest and most convenient, and I’ve transferred all my prescriptions to this location because I know Rachel RPH, Aaron, Esmeralda, and the other CPTechs will get my orders processed. It’s obvious this location processes a lot of orders

Service at the Pharmacy is terrible. Usually four, plus Pharmacist on duty. But upon arriving to pick up medication they all appear to be doing something, unable to see what. No acknowledging your presence. Today the Pharmacist was talking to a lady regarding a diagnoses she had received. Four other employees didn't even look up from what they were doing. I'm 85, open heart surgery w/ an aorta value replaced, triple bypass 2 years ago. Not as young as I once was. Walking any distance is difficult. I believe they process a lot of prescriptions at this Pharmacy, but they need to accommodate their customers picking up medication in a more timely manner.

Although my insurance doesn't cover CVS prescriptions, CVS always uses a discount card for my prescriptions. I enjoy this CVS and the pharmacist is great as well as all the pharmacist techs! I'm glad the old pharmacist quit, he was so rude. Keep up the great job!!

Called to see if prescription was ready, they said 10 minutes. I waited 20 minutes and then drove up there, they told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. Ankenneeds a GOOD pharmacy

Regardless of Rx manufacturer inability to produce/supply & PBM'S greed... indifferent to that is this service & CARE TO YOUR NEED from this Pharmacist!!! Rachel, good work outa' You because it Xfer's from the top down. It hasn't gone unnoticed trust me.👍👊👊

They only get one star because I can't rank them lower. I seem to go here only when one incredibly disrespectful older man is working. And today found out he's actually management! He has told me I was lying when I had to walk the aisles to find him because I was ready to check out and had been standing at the counter for several minutes and no one came. But hey, it was late at night and you get in a rhythm stocking shelves, it happens. But today the disrespect this man showed telling us to go somewhere else because he's never heard of it, when 3 companies have said it can be done and CVS is the only place we can get the product. I am through trying to rationalize this man's actions. Horrible service Jerry.

This has to be the slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. Twice now, we have driven to the pharmacy for a prescription after a sick visit to the doctor for our daughter. Both times, the script "wasn't there" when we arrived (both times I called the doctor who confirmed they were sent) and then took forever to fill. The staff is less than helpful and almost comes off as rude during the transaction. We will be switching pharmacies and going back to Walgreens.

Constant delay on medication. Last one was supposed to be ready on Friday, went to pick up again today and had to wait 30+ minutes because it still wasn't ready... (we had called Friday, Saturday, and sunday) this prescription is an antibiotic for a 4yr old.. pharmacist was rude and lacking in customer interaction when we were upset.Overall disappointed

The best decision I ever made was switching to cvs pharmacy. I pay a fraction of the cost I used to pay at my old pharmacy and they give me 90 day supplies! They're always friendly and it's 10x faster than my old one.

Had a health emergency with a type 1 diabetic with a dangerously low blood sugar. Tried to go in and get some M & M's, but clerk wouldnt let us in the door due to no mask. I understood the rules and clearly explained the situation, so asked if he could through me a bag if I left $2 sitting there. Still would not cooperate so had to search for some where else. Very disappointed in the customer service and understanding of a health emergency.

I have numerous prescriptions and was in between insurance and cobra trying to use GoodRx. The pharmacist went above and beyond to get all of my prescriptions filled at the most affordable price, even transferring one to another chain. All this during COVID! I can’t say enough about their pleasant attitudes under pressure and ability to work with their customers no matter what their circumstances.

They do a poor job of helping people with getting prescriptions from the doctors office. They also are not willing to answer questions you may have regarding prescriptions. I am under the impression that Iowa law requires a pharmacist to explain all new prescriptions which they most definitely have not yet done in the 5 I have gotten from them. Also when i was trying to ask a question in the drive through, the tec closed the window with a less than complete answer.

I waited 20 minutes for my vaccine because apparently only the pharmacist can stick me with a needle and she was on a phone call.While waiting, I realized this store is disgusting. Needle covers and bandaid rappers laying on the floor.

After surgery I had prescriptions called in. 6 hours later my wife went to pick them up and they weren't ready and made her wait for 45 minutes. A refill was called in 4 days later. 4 hours after it was called in I was told it wasn't ready and to wait 30 minutes. I go back, they said 15 more minutes. Really? Worst pharmacy ever

Great store in a great neighborhood. Well stocked with the most needed and in demand items. Well lit and safe to shop at. They carry beer, wine, & spirits. NO tobacco products. Open till 10pm most nights....call to confirm hours as subject to change.

Worthless pharmacy. Rude interns, non-existent customer service, scripts are rarely ready when they are supposed to be- despite the fact that they call multiple times a day to remind you to pick up said scripts (even after being asked specifically to stop calling). Can't count the times I've gone during listed "pharmacy hours" to see that they've closed early. Extremely disappointing compared to what the service was years ago.

Friendly staff and fun selection of things to look at. However the store seems a little small and there were some bare looking shelves which doesn't look good in retail. Some of the cosmetics had been opened and were still on the shelves.

Very bad service especially the African American guy he does not like to work and refused to take my reference number to give me my money back from money gram, I do not like their prices always expensive, and I do not like their customer service , their employee are not professional and they are not helpful and even they are evil
