I'm a new member to Costco and so far Costco has been a very great place. I look forward to updating my reviews. The store has been very clean, the deals have been awesome, the people that work there have all been very nice.Update 2-13-24The store and people are still very great. I haven't been out as much as i had hoped but I have been taking a big advantage of my gas station. At the gas station I always see the attendants actually helping others that look to need some assistance and I don't see that much anymore.

This is a newer and bigger Costco. The aisles aren't as crowded and narrower as the West Des Moines location making it easier to shop. The gas station is also bigger with more pumps and lights showing which pumps are available.Overall, I enjoy shopping at Costco and this location seems to be well stocked and carries a diverse selection of food to household items.

Epic Mega Costco!! It’s huge! The biggest in the Midwest in fact. It has a very well thought out layout.Other than the crowds, no complaints! All the staff were very efficient and helpful.There are a few differences from the West Des Moines location:1. Optical is to the far left by pharmacy2. Alcohol is in the back left corner area3. The back is similar but bigger, pet stuff is tucked in its own section in the back4. There is a fridge section next to the freezer section with cheese, meats, etc.5. Food court has a nice self-service. It’s super easy, just hit buttons, pay and then wait to pick it up!6. Tire shop is a little further back on the left (from entrance).Hope this helps!

Our favorite Costco. Very friendly staff. Clean and stocked. Surprising to see how every staff there has been trained to be very pleasant and customer oriented. Even though the store is packed with people they manage the billing really fast.

We were Costco skeptics and this store completely converted us! The quality of products Costco sells is unbelievable which has completely changed how we shop for groceries. Only thing we wish was different is the incovenient store hours as we prefer to shop earlier in the day.

The store is always clean and well organized, and the lot is free of carts even though the store is usually quite busy; they could always use more cashiers though. The food court was under construction while we were there, excited to see what updates they've made once finished

Would be 5 star if it wasn't for the constant changing of merchandise in store. We go once a month and everything is moved. Great ploy to get customers to spend more but some of us stick to a list and are just annoyed.We've had a membership for many years but are annoyed enough to not renew.

Had an easy bake night with delicious salmon and Mac n cheese from the quick dinner section. Never disappoints!And last but most importantly, the white nectarines from family tree farms, ARETHEE BEST fruit of the season, minus the wonderful mangosteen I found at Sam's Club only once so far!

Transferred my prescription to Costco Pharmacy today and the service was exceptional. The Tech Michelle was very professional and knowledgeable. Michelle was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the Ankeny’s pharmacy for your prescription needs.

In this day and age, why would anybody build a brand new store and not put diesel pumps in with the plethora of gas pumps they have? Ridiculous. I own one gas and several diesels. I can’t be the only person that has diesel vehicles around the area that would like to fuel when they go to Costco

I discontinued my membership because they don't have anything other Costco out of Iowa have! Good Culture cottage cheese, just bare chicken, Wilde chips, Fairlife protein vanilla, and so much other popular stuff! So disappointed!

Bad experience of getting my new membership card this afternoon. The staff was rude. Looked like she doesn't welcome new members. 🙄The products are good though.

Only reason I became a member was to buy your cinnamon bread! Have been there at least six times they never have had it!!Have been trying since they’re opening almost over the last year

Compare labels and prices! Just because something is labeled organic doesn't mean it's any different than the original and shouldn't cost more. This place is full of items labeled organic, but if you read the labels you'll see it's the same product (not labeled as organic) that is sold at other big box stores for the same price that don't charge a membership. Costco has a cult-like following for those folks trying to keep up with the Jones'.Other than that, they do have some non-food options that are a deal due to their buying power, but please compare with other non-member stores.

Always great to visit. We have both memberships. We like Sam's for some items and Costco for others. The staff is always friendly. The pizza is great and the ice cream to die for.

Extra Large retail and area distribution center, 80,000 sqft, for Costco and local shopping. It's new and not as crowded as the West Des Moines store.

I am use to the Costco locations in Illinois, constantly crowed and always crazy busy no matter when you go. I have been at 3 of of the locations a in the Chicagoland area.Ankeny , Iowa store was a refreshing change of pace. Highly recommended

Nice and new. Much larger than any others I have been to. Gas station has 3 pumps each lane instead of 2. Friendly staff. Had some cool big ticket items due to grand opening.

The hearing aid center is top notch, with professional techs who administer state of the art computerized, hearing tests and determine the best hearing aids for customers. Cost of hearing aids are a fraction of traditional hearing center costs and the new hearing aid bluetooth, phone technology is remarkable. Gabby assisted me with the best fit for my hearing loss. The follow up exam is beneficial demonstrating how to care for the aids and warranties are amazing. One courtesy replacement of lost or damaged aids included with a 3 year warranty. I’m beyond grateful for my new hearing aids and amazed at all the life's sounds I was missing. I can hear birds again. Thanks so much Gabby!

Beautiful new building. The biggest Costco in the Midwest! The staff is incredible and friendly. Costco is definitely my favorite wholesale club!Side note: if you are considering Sam’s Club over Costco, know that Costco pays their new hires $18.50 and starting supervisors $31/hr (as of posting). Sam’s Club doesn’t even pay their supervisors $18.50. Support the company that supports their employees. Choose Costco!

Was not told that they closed on Saturday at 6 had got there at 5:45 pm and know one announced that they would be closing at 6 so we were rushed out of there and ,over charged ,and did not get what we went there for ,the cashier's were rude and the helpers were mean .
