Great experience all around. I did my research on many local and nationwide security companies as well as some DIY services. Eventually decided to go with Astra, spoke with Alex and we got the ball rolling, placed the order and within a week Courtney and Anthony were out installing everything. The process was smooth, nothing unexpected or surprises.One thing I am particular about is the user interface and how it response when accessing the security system. The app and head unit are both amazing. No lag or unusual processing time so far. Still working on all the features of the appCustomer service is great. Always had someone to reach out to and questions answered. Everyone is professional.Overall would definitely recommend and would choose Astra again if I had to start over.

I recently moved into a new home and checked out a few home security providers, and was really impressed by Astra’s value proposition. They were on-time, very responsive to initial inquiries, extremely clean in the home, explained their recommendations, and made sure that the sensors were aesthetically pleasing in terms of placement. They even checked the deadbolt on the front door and advised that it wasn’t secure, as the slot where the deadbolt locks into wasn’t bored out deep enough for it to fully seat…Not even their issue, but they fixed it for me anyways!Overall, working with them has been a great experience, and I feel more peace of mind when I’m home as well as when I’m traveling/away.Keep up the great work!

Oliver and his team at Astra are top notch!! I contacted Oliver after an odd and unsettling incident and he came out THE NEXT DAY! He was so professional and made me feel at ease with some amazing, high tech, but user friendly equipment. After discussing our needs, I had a proposal within a couple of hours and the install team was out within a couple days. Anthony and Adam came out promptly at 9 am and were so friendly. I felt like I have known them my entire life. They were professional and answered all my questions. They did not quit the job until it was finished correctly! They made sure everything was 110% !!! Astra is hands down the way to go!!!!

Alex is great to work with. He followed up with me a few months after my system was installed to verify everything was working the way I needed it to. My keyfob wasn't always showing the red or green light but was arming and disarming correctly. He sent a replacement and set it up with no hesitation. Gotta do a HUGE shoutout to Oliver Keeling who owns Astra Security! I’ve known him a LONG time and have had my systems only through his company for all 3 of my homes. When I have a question I can’t normally just reach out to an owner of a company and FaceTime for help while he’s out hiking in Arizona or him step away from a pool outing to walk me through something. He has gone above and beyond with his customer service BUT HE has gone way past above and beyond for people who really need his help. I’m impressed by his desire to want to help people and always know I can count on him to make the impossible happen. We've had Astra Security for 5+ years and highly recommend them. We recently built a home and had Astra do a full system from the ground up and couldn't be happier. Top quality hardware and installation. They worked hand in hand with our builder to make it seamless. The biggest reason I recommend Astra Security though, it's the customer service and support you receive while with Astra. Oliver and staff will always do everything they can to make sure everything is right. We haven't had one instance over the years that we've been unhappy about. 5 Star Rating in my book!I had a wonderful experience with Astra Security, from my initial phone call to the final installation. I was impressed with my initial meeting with Alex, to go over equipment and my specific needs. He was a great listener and attentive to my situation, getting me a quote within 24 hours. I was expecting a 2 week wait and the company was able to get me in promptly, finishing the job in one day. Both Alex and Oliver were professional in their installation, not leaving trash for me to pick up afterwards, along with listening to my request for camera locations. After the installation, Alex helped me navigate through the mobile app and supplied me with contact information easily uploaded into my phone. I ended up needing an extra camera which was installed within a couple of days from my call. And when I called the office to ask a question, Emily promptly addressed my needs. Each staff member treated me with kindness, professionalism, and knowledge of their product. The most impressive part, for me, was during the sales meeting where Alex was never derogatory about competitors, along with encouraging me to get a 2nd quote, letting me know where Astra would fall in the price scale (the other companies I contacted talked poorly about their competitors & pushed for my business). I’m completely satisfied with the equipment, giving me clear images both day and night, along with the text alerts when something is located in a camera’s view. The experience was wonderful from tip to tail, giving Astra the highest compliment and stars a company could receive!

Since day one, Oliver, Mike and Sharon have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. The technicians, Mike and Oliver, are extremely well-versed in card access, burg/fire alarms and video, and are courteous and professional with my customers, some of whom are occasionally difficult to say the least. Sharon in the office bills me quickly and accurately, and ALWAYS replies to my emails within moments, which goes a long way with me. If you are in need of a security vendor in Iowa, then Astra is the way to go. My experiences with them have been nothing but positive and I cannot recommend them highly enough.UPDATE: Mike and Oliver and Sharon are still killin it all these years later
