Fareway has some of the best steaks, I usually grill them, but I'm sure they would be great no matter how you prepare them. The footlong hot dogs are great for chili dogs!

Seems the only place within a 50 mile radius with malt.. Always well stocked! Don't like self check outs.. Thought that's why we pay higher prices was for the service.. Meat counter staff always knowledgeable of product.. Love the full service staff..

I primarily order for pick up and I have never been happier with the products the associates pick for me, especially Teia! She is always so kind and happy to see me always having a nice quick conversation and making sure I get the best deals possible. I could ask for a better face for the grocery store than hers. Fareway has done a fantastic job bringing a quality grocery store to Anamosa. Fantastic meat counter and fresh produce as you would expect. The building was gutted and remodeled in 2016 and everything is nice and clean.

It's a great place to shop for fresh produce, meats along with other basic necessities. Very friendly staff who go out of their way to help customers which adds on to the small town community setting. Always has deals that you just can't refuse.

Great service and attention to customers. Staff are always friendly and willing to assist you if you need help or have a question. They always offer to help me take my purchases out to my car. I especially like that, since I'm pushing 70.Meat department is outstanding! They always do there best to meet my, sometimes unusual, requests with a smile. Produce is clean, well cared for and delicious! This is a great neighborhood store! You don't find this type of care and service at the super stores. Thank you Fareway!

Friendly, caring, and knowledgeable staff. Great prices, clean, easy to find things, and great items on stock. I have gotten many meat cuts all have tasted great and were handled well. They even have some items like chicken gizzards and livers. A great local place to shop.

This is a very good grocery store the workers are all ways in good moods and treat you whit respect. 🙏 my favorite thing about the store is the meat department. 🍖 the meat is always fresh and delicious. Specially the iowa top lone stake and the Check out service is incredible !!!!!

Fareway is great to have in town! The meat counter is an absolute blessing it’s so much better than the meat at Walmart. The rest of Fareway is a little more than a Walmart type store but with that you usually get better customer service. They also accept Apple Pay now which is nice. For those that didn’t know they can help you load your groceries if you need it.

I give them 4 stars for their meat quality only. They don't have very good sales, and their prices are pretty outrageous on everything else. But as a general rule the staff is very courteous in friendly.

Attn: Meat department, I just want to say how much I appreciate you guys today was a really long day at work and although I don’t request separate packaging you guys went above and beyond in my eyes, your attention to detail and great attitudes despite everything this last year is amazing👍 please keep it up, I have never encountered an employee with a bad attitude either the cashiers are always friendly and helpful thanks guys

I've been freaking out about the mask wearing at the stores! Well I went into fareway this evening and I felt at home! I didn't see a bunch of posters saying how I have to wear one! And it was not over crowded like other places. Was able to keep the distance! I'll be doing my shopping here for now on! Thanks fareway!
