Who doesn’t love dollar general they almost always have what you need and they have decent prices most times! This location the staff is always nice and helpful. Only giving 4. Star because it’s a little cluttered. Overall nice dollar general!

Filthy, cluttered, isles are a mess, and some staff are great others..not so much. They need a way to know when a customer is at a register other than a squeaky pig toy, because if they're anywhere in the store stocking shelves they can't see or hear the customer. Otherwise prices are decent and they have a good selection for a small town, but again as I've seen from other reviews it does need more diversity in it's stock.

A lot of inventory. Pretty decent prices. Large selection of items. From food to diapers. The only thing I had an issue with is that they only had travel size packs of QTips. I wanted the normal 300 or so and they didn't have any. They have everything else. They usually have pretty good deals. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I observed an employee go out of her way to assist a gentleman with a physical disability get the items he wanted.

This is a really tough review. This Dollar General in Anamosa Iowa has been through a lot of change in a very short time. I have experienced some of the worst service I've ever had in this last month. And unfortunately short of calling corporate, there's not a lot to do because there seems to be a lack of presence when it comes to an actual manager.They were hiring but due to the absolutely horrible website Dollar General has And the blatant false statements on the with a process applications, I know two ladies with background experience in Dollar General not get hired but a few worthless bodies did.What is going on Dollar General Corp? How can we help you to help us so we can have a great store again??

Employees can't enter things correctly into the register nor do they have the ambition to correct them, even when the store is empty/ dead

Went there and there was only one person at the register. Stood in line for 35 min. Customers were getting upset. 3 left. Otherwise probably would have been a hour wait. I was in no hurry so thats why I waited. But if I was , I would have walked out also. There was another person working , but she just kept walking around looking at things. I even offered to get on the other register to help..but was denied.

I love the Anamosa Dollar General. You can actually get through the aisle without merchandise falling or on carts. The employees are personable and very helpful too.

I love dollar general but this location does not have products commonly found in other dollar generals very limited in a small town with no diversity

Only Half of the employees are great and very helpful if needed. Usually have whatever I'm looking for and really cheap!!!

They need more ethnic hair products because Anamosa has become more diverse. I still like being able to shop there.

I am disappointed I purchased an item at Dollar Store and the item still had the label saying that it came from Dollar Store and the price. I plan to return it but the store did not carry the item anymore they credit me only one cent for for an item that I had paid $5. Bad customer service not recommended
