ur store is overall great, big with a lot of products that're neatly organized. however, the only thing that makes coming here a bad experience is the older, miserable woman working the cash register in the front yesterday afternoon around 1-3pm. she should not be employed here or anywhere since she is not nice, no customer service skills, and very biased towards women. she greets every single man that enters the store and seems overall "nice" towards only men. not that it would do any difference, but it should as the "head" of your store would vastly improve, if not for her.

This is the worst pharmacy I know. The service is bad and always behind schedule. The attendants are mean and rude. I would give zero stars if possible.

I waited on the phone for over two hours with the recording starting out that there were two people before me, then one and no one ever came on the phone from the pharmacy or the store. It made us decide that we didn’t want to do business with them.

This store has never recovered since COVID. It takes days to get refills on scripts, half time pharmacy is closed. ATM is always broke, can't get help in photo department. Might as well drive to Ankeny or Des Moines for better service.

Got a text my prescription would be held for 5 days. Waited in line for 20 minutes on day 4 only to be told it wasn’t ready. Don’t waste your time, go to a different pharmacy.

The pharmacy has always done everything they can for me to make it as seem less as possible. Today the pharmacy tech Jeremy went above and beyond and helped me save a decent chunk of change. The man is a kind heart and didn’t have to do it for me, no one else has. He deserves a raise!!!!!

The employees are always kind but it often takes 20+ minutes waiting in line to pickup prescriptions and it can take awhile for prescriptions to be filled. The phone line also takes awhile.

Went with my mom to pick up laundry items for our local womens shelter. Walgreens always has great deals and the shelter was running low on supplies. Very disappointed in the cashier that assisted us. She complained that other people needed the products and we were grabbing enough for 10 families. Just went on and on making us feel bad for shopping there in the first place. I understand stores have limits but we never grabbed more than 4 of a specific brand. They were fully stocked never cleared a shelf. Just sucks shouldnt feel guilty for shopping or helping people in need.

I used this Walgreens for more than a decade. Over the past few months the service has dropped to nil. They screwed up my prescriptions multiple times, their phone tree is impossible and I had at least a 15 minute wait every time I had to talk to a real person on the phone. I gave up on them.

Went to pick-up pictures and Nikki was extremely helpful. She went beyond being a clerk and made our effort to get our pictures done better than expected. GREAT JOB NIKKI.

I needed to get a rapid covid test before tomorrow so I called to see if I could get a same day appointment. The pharmacy staff were able to accommodate me and get me a test within the hour. I am so relieved and really appreciated their flexibility during these times.

We were staying in Ames for a few nights on the way to Nebraska for a wedding and I had forgotten to bring my nightly medications with me. I realized this at 9:15pm and called Walgreen's in a panic. Pharmacist got the medication approved with my insurance within seconds on the phone.I drove over and they were waiting for me at the register. Pharmacist was incredibly polite and I was so appreciative of her help!

Just wanted to ask a very simple question. Was on hold with the pharmacy for 20 minutes. My fiancé called and he was connected within 5 minutes. Never using Walgreens pharmacy again. Plus the automated calling service is so confusing.

I have never experienced such trouble as I have with this pharmacy. I recently moved from Des Moines and thought going to Walgreens would be an easy transition but they are terrible. I have had three prescriptions called in the first time they didn't order my prescription because they didn't have my insurance information on file- which turns out they actually did. Then when they ordered it they weren't able to get the 2nd prescription but didn't think to call me and tell me, they waited until I showed up. For the third prescription, which was just called in yesterday, it turns out yet again it wasn't ordered and they have no idea why- it would have been nice for them to call me to tell me this but of course I didn't find out until I called them to see if it was ready to be picked up. They have terrible customer service and every rep I have talked to has acted like they were annoyed to even be bothered to do their job. Going forward its obvious I should be having my prescriptions sent elsewhere.... wishing there was a CVS in town!

aweful,I went there around a dozen of times this semester. The managers are friendly and helpful when they are around (rarely there). I'm sure they have more important things to do or I come at bad times.The staff are bad, they try to do the least of helping to get rid of you. Or they run away from you. I keep having dirty looks. I am not a terrorist and I don't smell.the make-up section lady is somewhat helpfull

Place was awful. We went in to scan pictures and the pictures came out with a big tear in them. Gosh I went to exchange a hair product because it was empty and she thought I stole it. Just very rude. Her name was barb and she shouldn’t work with people because she is not good at it.

This Walgreens is great. It's nice and close to my house and has a nice big drink selection. The pharmacy is pretty quick, though I think the pharmacist is probably getting pretty close to retirement.

The pharmacists are rude, terribly disorganized, only have generic medication, and are very condescending. They are very hard to work with and make the situation very uncomfortable.I would recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

Clean little neighborhood Walgreens. Haven't used their pharmacy but the convenience store is clean and more than adequately stocked.
