My husband & i enjoyed our time at 3 Sisters, today. Love Scout, the Dog!Learned lots about knife steel. Found a lovely knife, which i happily bought. The atmosphere is relaxed and no pressure.I bought an Iowa-made knife. They have a nice selection of locally produced knives.Side note; I have only cut myself once, with my new knife ( owned it for a grand total of 4 hours) We will definitely be going back!!

This place is amazing. A must see in Ames. Truly unique. The purveyor is very knowledgeable and eclectic. A wide variety of interesting items. Stop by for a visit or to pick up something you wont find anywhere else.

Went in to find my brother a knife for a present. The man there was very knowledgeable and didn't seem to try and up sell me. Lots of very interesting pieces inside from new to old it seemed. Plus there was a dog. The dog was worth the extra star.

You can feel the positive energy as soon as you enter. If you want to learn about knives, swords, forging, sharpening, he is glad to answer any questions and share an extensive amount of information guiding you to make a logical decision.

Great knife shop! They buy, sell and sharpen knives. Other items for sale are guns fossils and jewelry. This shop is worth stopping in.
