This location is AMAZING! I love coming here because the people are great at what they do. Nicholas, Cam, Sierra, Josie are fantastic and make you feel like family. I’m treated by name every time I come in and the fact that they know me is so sweet (and might be a sign I have a coffee problem). I worked the coffee shop gig for close to a decade and can honestly say that this location is one of the best around. Keep it up team!

Amazing! The baristas were so nice and service was so quick!! The place is also great for homework and other computer stuff. I recommend light ice if you’re getting a cold drink though. Overall it’s amazing. Does this make me a basic white girl for liking Starbucks? Yeah probably. Do I care? No because Starbucks is amazing and I don’t care if people call me a basic white girl. Thanks Starbucks for being everything I need in my life

Staff is very friendly but I have had very few good drinks made by this Starbucks location. When I first moved to the area caramel machiattos were my go to Starbucks drink. I got those a few times at this location and always thought they were poorly made and didn't like them. I was going to stop going to this Starbucks but decided to just get other drinks. I also like pumpkin spice lattes and decided to get one today only to be disappointed again. Very disappointing considering this is the closest Starbucks to me and at $5+ dollars it's not worth the risk.

The staff was incredible, more specifically Kathy!!! She was so sweet and very kind when I was extremely indecisive. She gave me so many options and even ended up giving me a taster of her go to drink. She made my day, give this girl a raise!

Another typical Starbucks, the staff was kind and efficient. They made a mistake by preparing the wrong pastry but were gracious and fixed their mistake by serving us the correct one shortly after while letting us keep the incorrect one. The drinks were well made as expected.

The staff in the north sbs are not friendly even if they appear at first but if you ask for an extra thing or you didn't meet their expectations (checkout and leave immediately) they become rude to you. My 2nd time to leave annoyed from the same store. While I go to other stores, staff are friendly. The other things like food and drinks are the same like any other sbs. The place is clean and neat but you can't be comfortable there for the mentioned issue.

This is a new Starbucks here in Ames. I love that there is a coffee place on the North side of town now.I have never had any issues with their Coffee. Always friendly service and the best part is they take care of your fur friends as well. That means a lot to me. If you want to make your customers happy, treat their babies like they are gold. Way to go Starbucks. You made me a happy customer along with Daphne. She loves to visit your store.

Bad attitude with worker. My order wasn't right the first time. I had to get back in line again to fix it right and the second it wasn't right again. I decided not to get back in line again because as a customer I don't need attitude when I'm paying money to get what I ordered never again will I Come back. Waste of high price products and my time. The sweet pie at the window need to grow a pleasant attitude or he needs to find another job

I hate to say this but I would like to give zero stars if I could. Staff cannot remember what you want when ordering through the drive through. If I order over the phone, it will take twice as the estimated time saying on the app even on weekends less busy hours. I had even two occasions that they messed up my payment and I lost 400 stars (can redeem a pound of whole coffee bean). I love Starbucks but I really don’t like this shop.

I visited this store on Friday, February 11. After I left, my hair, coat, and clothes were saturated with cigarette smoke. I sat in the store by myself for 2-3 hours. My suspicion is smoking is occurring after hours. Very disappointing. On a positive note, the baristas were friendly and made me a wonderful coffee drink.

The staff was nice and the service was quick. I Loved the atmosphere and the helpfulness from the staff. I love able to sit and relax with a cup of coffee. I wish I could give this location more than a 5 star rating.Also, free WiFi. So freaking sweet.

I go to this Starbucks almost every day tbh.. it's a problem hahaThe staff there is really great! Especially Libby! - she is very accommodating to my dietary requirements.Dietary restrictions: They offer nice milk alternatives and Sugar Free syrups!! And if you are a caffeine sensitive individual, they have decaffeinated options. Super solid.

I go here on the weekends and sometimes the week days and my favorite barista is Mike he is always there when I come and he is so nice. My dog loves getting pup cups from him.

Went there Thanksgiving day it was a sad day just because like many it was spentwithout family or love ones who had passed on prior years. A friend and I and aisha (fur baby) got there. We ordered and got pup cup for aisha. We pulled up and everyone went nuts over Aisha. The girls so over joyed and sadden, I feel for not being with their families or fur babies. They were brought to tears at the sight of Aisha. In that moment HAPPINESS AND LOVE HAPPENED. We were brought to tears as well. I want to thank them for helping us that day. I pray they had a great day and will see family and fur babies soon! Thank u from the bottom of our hearts.

It’s good, but when I asked for oatmilk in my chai latte I was given regular. It would’ve been fine if oatmilk was just a preference, but I’m severely lactose intolerant and I did not enjoy the cramps that ensued from drinking regular milk. The chai mix/syrup they use is very good though.

Staff is nice but it seems like if you ask for light ice, they put extra ice. Happens everytime and it's pretty annoying.
