Cute little spot located on Main Street. Fairly priced hard scoop ice cream also delicious drinks and lattes and teas. They have a lot of novelty items as well like jewelry and candles and some mix and match items.I got the mango tajin ice cream and it was so good!

Took me long enough to try this place out - and WOW! The ice cream was stunning, we got the Maple & Pecan flavor. It was crazy good and just soft enough.The coffee was fine enough, but the ice cream is the main event!

AMAZING ice cream! I can't begin to describe how good the I've cream is. If you're on vacation and want some ice cream, GO TO MARMALADE MOON! Service is also fast. All the ice cream is homemade, and Marmalade Moon did an amazing job.

What a great addition to Ames! The ice cream had a nice texture and pleasing flavor-- not artificial or overpowering. There were lots of options. The vibe is both cozy and fun. Lots of cute items on sale for young and old alike. We brought our daughter and granddaughters. They loved it!

I am not much of an ice cream person at all. My least favorite desert of choice. But with Marmalade Moon being new, I wanted to try. The shop is lovely. Some very cute gifts inside. I wish it was spread out more as they have plenty of space inside may as well use it. The ice cream I bought was the Marmalade Moon flavor. It was very good. Creamy and just sweet enough. Refreshing orange taste and I loved the candied orange peal inside that was chewy and yummy. I love the outdoor seating area and that they allow people to taste test so they can figure out what they would like for ice cream. Kind of pricy at $4.00 a scoop but you get what you pay for and I think that it was worth the $4 for sure.

I love ice cream, so I feel like ice cream places don't have to try too hard to earn a five star rating from me. That being said, this place has some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted! The pear chai and caramel cookie butter flavors were both delightful and had a perfect texture and flavor. I look forward to trying more of their inventive and delicious flavors.

This store is an eclectic combination of a bunch of wonderful things! First, the coffee is very nice and the owners are lovely. Then, their ice cream is delicious and so unique. I tried the Chai Pear and it was fabulous. As you continue into the store (we sat to eat our ice cream) there’s games, unique gifts, little novelties, old candy, and then Annie Salone Chalk Paint! It looks rather unassuming from the outside and we just stopped by for coffee, but it was like happy surprise after happy surprise as we walked all the way in! Who knew that one store could contain so many wonderful things!

Absolutely LOVE this place. Their home-made ice cream is hands down the best I've ever had. The staff is always super polite and helpful and the gifts they have for sale are fun and unique too. I've found things here for everything from baby showers to birthdays!

We were unexpectedly downtown for lunch and I told my kids we could finally try “the new ice cream spot”- when we arrived we saw that they were closed today for some routine upkeep. When I told my kids, my 5yr old started crying. The owners saw our interaction from inside and came out and let us in/served us despite being closed. We appreciated their kindness and they definitely made my kids’ day! The ice cream was incredible and we’re excited to visit again soon, next time when they’re actually open!

Excellent tasting ice cream. We had the double oreo. One down fall is it is a little less than $4 for one scoop. They need to have smaller bowls as we saw the one scoop bowl expecting it to be full but our scoop was not even touching the sides of the bowl. It is a little amount for that price. I know things cost a lot but I would have rather known the true size and gotten another scoop for a $1 more. Maybe bowls are not easy to find in a slightly smaller size.I would definately go back but only on special occasions. It was delicious.

Such yummy ice cream with a few rotating flavors (I think they change things up weekly, but I could be wrong). The shopping side of things isn’t my style of shopping, but it is cute still! Definitely a great addition to Main Street, and I’ll be back again soon!

I tried out marmalade Moon today since it was a new shop in the area and the ice cream was very good some of the best I've ever had there was plenty to look at as there's also a gift shop inside. There was also a shelf with different candies to buy and the owner Anne Marie was very nice and welcoming and she let us try a couple of the flavors every single one I tried was very good I recommend for sure!

Interesting and eclectic collection of retail good, in particular, they had a wonderful selection of Christmas goods available this year. Tasty coffee (locally ground, I believe) and some sandwiches available - great for a quick lunch. I look forward to watching this place grow!
