Hands down the best gaming store between Des Moines and Ames. Have never had a problem finding magic cards I wanted here. Great board game selections that other locations don't carry. I'd give them six stars if I could.

This is our go-to card shop. My husband and I both play Magic the Gathering and the employees are super welcoming to new players and know a lot about the game and the cards they sell. They always have a great selection of rare singles in their case and have many other reasonably priced cards you may need as well if you're building a deck. They also have a play room where you can play your decks or board games with friends. Also an added bonus, they have 2 shop cats that are super friendly and loveable.

great events, great inventory. i had a commander deck i wanted to build all i had to do is email him the list pay and pick up it was all done in less then half a day. and they had the whole deck.

Stopped by with my son. Never again. Not a family friendly environment. Merch was fine. We were the only shoppers in the store. Our presence was noted as we walked in and it was obvious we were in the store. The employee was listening/watching a totally inappropriate "show". A women's voice was heard THREE times saying "Why did you impregnate your 12 year old sister". The employee continued to watch. We left.

Nice shop have been there a couple of times while visiting family.. with the kids into Magic The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons it is awesome to see some different things from where we live. Decently priced and truly averaged to spot on for cards for sale. Very organized and we'll thought out system to make things quick and simple for you when it comes to the MTG

Have been going there for years for any board game or Magic: The Gathering needs and never once had an issue. Great environment to hang out and play some games while also improving your deck(s) with singles and packs.

Place is filled top to bottom with games and figures. Best thing about it...all the mini figures are organized. You do not have to stand and take all of them off the peg holder just to see what's behind each figure. They have a few cats that roam the store whom mind their own so watch where you step. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They sometimes run promos where if you buy so many figures you can get a free one. Definitely a place to go if you're looking for specific figures to up your D&D campaign or any other figure based tabletop game!

Staff is very helpful! Very helpful when getting the cards I needed and they have a judge to answer rules questions for MTG most days on hand. Board Game selection very nice and very helpful in ordering any possible games when not in store.

I love this place! The people here are fast and friendly and know their stuff. Plus they have two wonderful shop cats who are always pleasant to see. It’s definitely worth a stop in if you have any magic related needs.

This is my favorite gaming store! Staff and players do their best to bring up new players. I have enjoyed playing at mini's for the better part of 3 years. Going to mini's has made me a better Magic player, and actually made me love the game even more. Brian is very helpful and friendly and Mike while quiet is very welcoming and knowledgeable. I would describe the play group as a mostly college or post college crowd. I'll be the guy smashing face with aggro! (and losing to control...) Oh, and they have almost every card ever printed. I have only had them, out of maybe one thousand cards say they didn't have what I wanted once. The card I was looking was from one of the Portal sets, so basically they have EVERYTHING.

They had a huge selection of miniatures as well as a large amount of board games. The staff was also incredibly kind and helpful. I would highly recommend coming here for any sort of Role-Playing Game related things.

Good place for card singles under $1k. Bought sleeves for my cards. They also have board games. Ps. If your looking for "Cards against humanity" try walmart/Amazon.

Impressive inventory of all types of tabletop games, and especially big on Magic (card game, not the Houdini kind), all with cheaper prices than expected. Also has areas to just play some games with other people you don't know.

Ok so this place is friendly and the tables all had nice gaming mats down. My 2 big problems here are 1) there is no restroom. You have to go several doors down to find one during events 2) the event I played was not well run. It was an M:tG prerelease and there was no good way to report results. I was unsure of who was running the event until after round 2. I may go back if they can find a way to remedy the restroom issue.
