They have reasonably priced beer. Their sign says that they sell gyros and other food but I have never seen any evidence that that is accurate. There is not even a hot dog warmer or a microwave in the place as far as I can tell.The owner is friendly as are the staff. It's a nice corner store.

Mrs Ann was great help , i am an old Marine and i have broken both arms and wrists several times , and i can not turn a cap to open a soda or tea , Mrs Ann was so helpfull at opening my tea for me , that is great customer service and she deserves a raise or at least a lunch meal for going above and helping an injured Marine veteran with disabilities

Family owned store with very friendly staff. Prices are very good, sometimes even cheaper than the big chain convenience stores. Selection is limited on some things, but seeing how small it is that's not surprising. If you ask for something to be stocked/ordered, they will do their best to get it in their store for you.

The man that helped my cousin and i last night was very knowledgeable and and informative about the product we were buying. Very helpful and great guy to deal with! Might have been the owner. Younger guy...Anyway, will definately frequent this place.

Locally owned. Huge selection of cigars, smoking supplies and liquor. Near main street/downtown where there are no convenience stores. Easy in and out parking. This is not a gas station, and the food truck is no longer there.

This place is great and has something for everyone! Munchies, tobacco and vape products plus kratom. And if you're willing to try your luck there's video gambling machines!

If you want friendly quick service this is the place. They have cheap cigarettes and other stuff at a reasonable price. I would recommend Kwik Shop.

Kwik Stop in Ames is an absolute oasis for hard-to-find "novelty items" despite certain pressure from local neighborhood (faschist) associations who would love to see them shut down. Always available for those late-night party favors, top shelf selection of liquors and reasonably priced snack foods and beverages. May they forever hang their open sign proudly as the last stronghold of bona fide Americans!-James Winters
