Was not greeted when walking in the store, they did however greet the people in front of me. Needed help, was walked by at least 4 times by employees. Asked for help, was told to go wait. Employeees continued to walk by me without acknowledging me. Told someone else I needed help and they told me to scan the QR codes and help myself. Won't be Going back.

Bought a couple of things from this store like a curved screen, webcam, and an Apple Watch over time. Yesterday was probably the last day I foot in this store. The advantage of a physical store over an online one is a more customized buying experience and being able to try things out on the spot. I don’t feel like I can do either of those in this store because of staff either not being available or not showing up.

An associate at this location was very rude and did not help at all. His name was Zach W or something like that. I asked if he could call and make a phone call to another location and he commented with "So you want to waste 10 minutes of my time?" Very unprofessional and I will not be at this location again.

I am not tech savvy but desperately needed something besides my cellphone for online activities. After several other tablets, laptops, and notebooks proved to be to frustrating for me over the years I'd just about given up. I went to Best Buy just to see if there was ANYTHING that would work for my brain. Asante saw me staring at Samsung Tablets, listened to my frustrating past experiences, and immediately helped me find exactly what I needed! I will no longer order from Amazon or shop elsewhere because Asante and Best Buy offer the service and support that I've not found anywhere else!

Very nice staff that wants to help! Sometimes when you walk in a store it feels like workers keep bugging you, and I’ve had that feeling before when I’ve walked into Best Buy. But the way this location does it with a smile makes you feel helped and not bothered! Great job guys!

The salesman today was awesome! I bought an outrageously expensive vacuum ($650.00) on an impulse buy. Today, I returned it and got the BEST PAIR of earbuds by Shokz. Lemme tell ya, these earbuds, don't go in your ears but sit on the bone in front of your ears and uses vibrations. Omg these are the most amazing things I've ever seen! The sound quality is outta this world and worth the $196 price tag!!

I was greeted at the door. Everyone was very helpful. I had an appointment to bring in an old computer for recycling. I received a phone call reminder and when I arrived with the computer, they were ready for me. Quick and easy process. I was thankful to be able to recycle.

Their staff is uneducated in the products that they sale. I have been mislead several times on products and their ability to work with my components. I have had to make 2 return visits over a hundred miles each way to get the correct items. If they are selling a product they should know what's its compatibility is before selling it.

The in-store experience was five stars. The washer was supposed to be delivered. I left work early to be at the house for the delivery. They did not call to tell me that the delivery had been rescheduled for 10 days later. I cannot go 10 more days without a washing machine. We cancel the delivery and picked up the machine instead.

We needed a new washer, and hit BB after a couple of other stops at big chain stores. Alex and Zach at BB provided the most positive help, far better than Lowe's. They answered or researched questions, and promised us the installation would be handled by a wizard named Josh. Sure enough, Josh and his trusted ally Justin showed up and deftly dealt with the very small space we had to work with. All of these guys were great to work with.

I purchased a freezer from this Best Buy store that lasted less than three weeks. More than 100 pounds of pork and venison spoilage as a result of this product loss and the response is that the store no longer covers spoilage (They will gladly replace the product that the first purchase taught was of no quality). If the freezer, a large appliance with a many year service life, lasted a year and failed I would understand. However, selling a product that must be know to be faulty if it lasted less than three weeks and not addressing spoilage is the business model they choose to adopt then that says everything about the business model adopted by this store: sell garbage products and not stand by them. Be warned to not purchase appliances from this store as product quality is extremely low and there is no service available to the consumer.

It’s a place to shop for electronics within Ames, IA; their communication technology is generally better than in most places, and they accepted several of my unwanted electronic devices in the past. Only minor issue is with their refund & store credit policies.

I've been here twice in the last several months and both times they couldn't help me. The first time was a video game that just launched (and they had no idea it existed) the second was for a new Pixel 6 (about a month after release). Honestly the store looks pretty picked over every time I am there. It's probably fine if you want to buy a TV or other large electronic though.

Always seems to busy. They do try to help you quickly. We always seem to be in there for long time while things get done. We were getting new phones. The young man that helped us was very personable and knowledgeable. He got everything taken care if for me so I had nothing to worry about or do later. Best Buy employees know how to take care of a customer. I will continue going there.

We bought an oven at Best Buy. Joshua and Skyler delivered it and took our old one away. They were very professional, friendly and did an excellent job. This was our first big purchase from Best Buy and we’ll definitely look first at Best Buy again in the future.
