The main thing that we liked was the value and location. The disposal does not work, and the dishwasher does not work. Those things were easy to ignore. The one thing that might keep me from booking again is the fact that the proprietor controls the thermostat from her phone. Most of the time, we were comfortable at that temp. She likes to keep it at 74° when the suite is occupied.

We stayed at the upstairs suite, which had a full kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom. It was incredibly comfortable and clean. The suite was nicely decorated for Christmas as well. We were allowed to bring our little dog with us as long as she stayed in the crate. Wonderful stay!

Village Guest Suite is located in Amana, Iowa. Amana is surrounded by 6 other smaller Amanas. They all form a historic area that has a huge history shown off by proud , friendly citizens living and working there. You need almost 2 full days to see everything (maybe more during special events) . It's filled with quality shops. Village Guest Suite is a small Inn owned by pleasant owners who live onsite. Rooms are super comfortable and take you back to Williamsburg days. It is within walking distance of a lot of what makes Amana interesting. The owners even own an antique store with "true antiques". Get to their website and research a lot of what's there, but definitely talk to the locals. They love what they have.

Homey, rural feel but a short walk from good restaurants, tourist shopping, bakery etc. Amana "rolls up the streets" by 9 pm so expect a very quiet evening. Great jumping off point for exploring the Amanas. Comfortable, spacious rooms at good price.

Excellent choice to stay! Comfort and coziness of a B&B, privacy and autonomy of a hotel. The upper suite is fantastic and great for a longer stay! I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Had a lovely evening here with my family. Very nice accommodations in a peaceful town. We couldn't find the hosts to checkout in the morning but not a big deal.
