My dad and I unexpectedly happened upon the Millstream Brewing Co while touring around Amana and stopped in for a quick beer and root beer. We ended up buying some to take home with us to continue to enjoy throughout the summer. I ended up enjoying it so much I made a trip back during the winter holidays to restock! The varieties of beers are inventive and creative. My favorite so far is Adult Nap Time. They seem to have a regular rotation of artists that perform at the brewery too! Definitely a good idea to check this place out for a relaxing moment.

A nice place to stop in and get a beer from a local brewery. They have a couple of tvs so that you can watch the games. There is live music on Saturday nights starting at 6pm. Wide selection of beers with a board that lists the beers from the lighest to the darkest. They also offer a wide selection of root beer is you don't want an alcoholic drinkNote that they don't serve food they do have some light snacks such as pretzels and popcorn on a rack that you can purchase. Seating for about 40 people with plenty of free parking in back or nearby

We’ve been here for the Mayfest so the whole town was dressed in Bavarian dresses and lederhosen. So we came for a beer which was a maibock - really malty and tasty. My wife had a blueberry lemonade.

Been coming here for over 7 years. The first time I put money into the Jukebox. To play music. I asked them to please turn it up. There idea was a little. The sound of the bathroom was louder. Beer good. Save money on music

Visiting home. Parents come here every once in a while. We came here for a beautiful afternoon. Service is exceptional, everyone is friendly and welcoming. Exceptionally tasty local crafted beers. Tried some unique great-tasting local beers, you won'tbe disappointed with any beverage you choose from. Taking some home, it's so good. The deck/patio is a great place to hang out on a beautiful day and enjoy the serene view of town and also near the creek.Hope to come back the next visit.Again great locally-crafted beers.🍻

Great brewery and great location. Went for a Saturday night band and had a great time. Huge selection of beers. Barrel aged Octoberfest is the best. Root beer is also wonderful.

Went to the craft beer bash. Even tho I'm not a beer drinker, there were a few I liked! Just sipped, cause I was the D.D.! Also had great live music all day! Great vendors and turn out, even with it being hot out. You did get the cute little mug to get your samples to drink in. The coozie necklace was $5. Suggest next year, put the vendors lining the outside perimeter, and have 1 or 2 large tents in the middle for people to sit and get shade.

So excited new soda flavor GRAPE. This is great compliment to my already favs of Root Beer, Cherry Soda and Ginger Beer. All are sodas and caffeine free.

Here sits the only OWNER I met at the Beer Summit in Cedar Rapids this past weekend! He is passion driven, invested and it was clear his crew loved him too! Definitely made an impression on me by just being authentic and present representing his brew! Way to go Millsteam! 💪✅

Fun brewery! They’ve done a great job over the years expanding and now have numerous beers! The Unicorn fight club and the Hazy IPA are super good! Atmosphere is great and the staff were welcoming. Parking is behind the brewery. They do have indoor and outdoor seating.

Attended the 2023 Octoberfest event. The beer and live music were great at the brewery. Only downside was that the food trucks were expensive and ran out of food pretty early.

Have you been here?!No???????You are missing one of the BEST, and FIRST microbreweries in the state of Iowa!! The service is absolutely top notch, and the selection is so varied! Bring the kids and the dog in for a break from your road trip, or drive over from down the road, because if you don't, you ARE missing out! I even tried brews I'm not usually a fan of and loved them!!

I got the Adult Nap Time Pecan Porter yesterday! It is hands down the best beer I've ever had! All of their beers are great here to be honest. I don't know her name but the bartender that helped us was absolutely amazing!

The atmosphere was lacking compared to the rest of Amana. The beer was sub-par at best. I tried 2 flights with a good variety and wished I would have found a gem, but didn't. The people were nice but I could tell management was disconnected from the community. I really hope they are able to align to the Amana community at large.

OH WOW! I remember coming here when I first turned 21 and the beer selection was of all their classic brews, but...oh me oh my! They really stepped up their brewing game. Before I could go in knowing I've tried all they have to offer, but now I have to take some time think about what I want because the selection is 3x what it used to be. If you're in the Amana area, or just a tourist, you would be foreshamed not to visit here and try one of the many brew options they have on hand. Take it from an unofficial beer conisour, there is a brew for you! 10/10!

Small place with no kitchen. They have lots of taps with delicious beers. Bags of popcorn were available and there were bags of cheese curds or jerky style meats were also for sale in the refrigerator case. You could see into the brewing area. The seating area was small but had fun people.

Wonderful Staff and the Rootbeer is fantastic! Only down side is they don't have shipping available like the winery's. For those who don't live in the area or come by bus this would be a very nice option.

Came from Minnesota to visit the Amana Colonies and stopped at the Brewery. Hanna was awesome! She gave us a history of Amana colonies as we enjoyed our beverages. I had a flight and all the beers were delicious! Wife had root beer and loved it. Will definitely visit again!

Wonderful place, Wonderful people. Idyllic environment for a weekend afternoon. Listen to Authentic German music and sip incredible Beer as you literally sit in the grass under the shade trees along the millstream. Heaven on Earth on an early Autumn afternoon. Get away from the hustle and bustle of Life. Come to the Millstream Brewing Company in Amana, Iowa. You will be completely relaxed when you leave.
