The person working in the photo-area was very helpful with printing. I used to manage about 30 printers for quality control in a professional lab so I recognize a great worker when I see one.I asked about his hobby and he said photography and it shows.He answered my questions about mat vs gloss, regular printing and printing on canvas.Professional and personable.Better give him a raise! Because of his diligence, most certainly I be back for more, The is what he helped with, a portrait of an Austic child for her family. They loved what he did!

Slow drive up lanes. Don't go at peak times and if you see long lines, drive away.This walgreens is a joke and more people need to handle the drive up lanes. HORRIBLE AND SLOW.

I have patronized this business & pharmacy for many years. I have experienced pleasant positive experiences as well as extremely negative experiences over the years. On many occasions I have highly considered taking my business elsewhere over many unacceptable experiences, each time extending them another chance. My most recent experience in last 2 days to resolve issues with a pharmacist & also store manager, no names mentioned, I have no other reasons to remain a loyal customer after picking up the last RX in my profile. There are employees that remain @ this Walgreens location & others I will sincerely miss truly. I wish you "All" the best, and have not mentioned names or details out of respect. My original review was 3 months ago & extended a rating of 4 stars. This is revised update concerning last 2 days and several hours on phone with several contacts to bring this to resolution. My current rating is less than 1 star. Thank you again for all your efforts, wish you nothing but the best.

The pharmacy is so mis managed...it seems like they are always out of our meds and they get upset when you say something...they dont care if you have your meds or not...and they are extremely rude about it.

Horrible pharmacy. We have monthly prescription for dog. When we went to pick up couple of weeks ago, they only had 10 pills instead of 30 pills needed. Told me it would be $11.99 for 10 pills which is normal price for 30 pills. Told them at time that price was incorrect, was told by not nice employee that price was correct. Paid because need to prevent seizure. When we went to pick up remaining 20, they wanted to charge us full 30 pill price $11.99 again. How is it our fault the pharmacy didn't have correct number of pills to begin with? complained to corporate and was told they would call back in 48 hours to resolve. Didnt happen. This staff is horrible. Multiple times weve been told prescription was read, but get there and staff cant find. Moving all prescriptions. Also used to shop there regularly for mist household items....won't go back. Switched to hyvee pharmacy. Customer service so much better. Hyvee called to switch prescription forme. Vet had given 90 day prescription but walgreens said ny law they could only do 30 days at a time. Hyvee did 90 day no problem. Walgreens obviously lied. Hyvee was$9 cheaper too. Yeah!!!

Take your prescription literally anywhere else. Multiple trips and still not ready after saying it will be on more than one occasion. Will never be returning again. The convenience of a drive through is not worth the delays every time I have had to fill an order.

I arrived at the store to pick up a prescription refill at 130. At 132 the pharmacist informed me they were closed for a 30 minute lunch. I explained that I driven 20 minutes to arrive and he repeated that they would be going to lunch. He then proceeded to help another tech assist a customer for 20 minutes. I get it... you have lunch... but you probably could've jumped to a register and made a quick transaction. Very poor customer service. Now I have plenty of time to sit here and write a review of your questionable customer service. We will happily take our business elsewhere

The pharmacy is a joke. They need to do better. My family will no longer be going here. This is the only pharmacy we have had troubles with. I understand a couple hours to fill a prescription but not 6 or 7. Everyone in the altoona area may as well drive to a different Walgreens

I have never had a good experience at this place. I get a notification saying the prescription was ready. I go there and it wasn’t. When I get back there. I stood there for 15 minutes before they even acknowledged me in the waiting area. I sat in the drive thru waiting before I went inside. The people in the drive thru line were waiting on the pharmacist to come to the window for 10 minutes or more. That is just terrible service waiting on customers! They had 4 people behind the counter, this is unacceptable! I will never go there again!!

I usually don't complain because I know people sometimes have off days, but this isn't the first time this has happened. I went to Walgreens to get my wife's antibiotics today and was waited on by Terry. He has been rude to me a few times before but I watched his interaction with the customer before me and he seemed to be in good spirits today. We went through the normal question prices and in the middle of me saying I only wanted the antibiotics today he hung up the phone. When he returned with both prescriptions I told him I only wanted the azithromycin, which he let me know I pronounced wrong. He acted annoyed and asked if I wanted it on express pay and I said no I'll pay cash. When I tried to put the cash under the bar 2 different times he started pulling the drawer back so I took my hand out. He actually raised his voice at me and told me to just throw it in there. He also started helping the customer in the other drive thru line without giving me my change.

Not partially clean store and some empty shelves. Promised receipt to email address but was never received. Discount available. Not my favorite place to shop, but they generally have the necessary items that I need. The pharmacy pickup window is good, but one time, they mixed up what I asked for. Restroom available, and a key is no longer needed. Delivery of medications available finally.

Went in tonight to grab a few items. Upon check out the cashier didn't provide a receipt and I asked for a copy. I was told it was sent via text. I advised the cashier nicely that i no longer had access to that phone number. (Note; I wasn't asked how i wanted my receipt). I asked if i could please get a copy. She called whome I assume was the mng and i was told it would be a moment. I was in no rush, was happy to wait and I felt I was polite throughout the process. Once manager, Meredith or whome i assume was the mng came up, she proceeded to tell me in rude tone and with wide eyes how I should have advised them to update my phone number prior to payment etc.. and then proceeded to walk away, as I called her out on her tone. I again want to note that at no point was I asked how I wanted my receipt and there was no need for the attitude from the manager. Hopefully your experience is better than mine.

Very strange I went in to pick up a money transfer of money my brother wanted me to give to my nephew. The lady at photo kept asking me if it was in the system for Walgreens. But to my understanding western union is western union. She was not friendly or welcoming and frankly I worked in retail for 16 years and never once did I do anyone like that. I know she wanted to try to talk me out of the pick up because it was busy but this is the job you have. Please do it.

If I could, I would give no stars that’s how bad my service was at this walgreens. It was so completely unacceptable what happened to me. Kitty, the cashier in the pharmacy called me crazy to my face. She asked what was wrong with me, besides being crazy. She then was incredibly hostile to me, the entire time and kept telling me to sit down. Even though when I went through the line, she refused to give me my paperwork to get my second covid shot. I eventually had to go through the line again, after sitting for over twenty minutes and had to be helped by someone else. Who was shocked that I hadn’t gotten my paper work. Kitty, then claimed my paperwork needed to be printed and the other cashier was shocked that it still wasn’t taken care of in all the time I was there. Kitty then, went into the back and made fun of me for getting the vaccine. I will honestly say, I will never go to a walgreens again and I am seriously considering calling upper management in walgreens. I want Kitty fired, not only for harassing me but for repeatedly making fun of me. This was the worst service I have ever received, I am thinking of calling my lawyer over the harassment I faced. What they did was discrimination and I am horrified that I had to experience this today and I demand something be done. Honestly never come here, that’s how bad my service was. I will never come to a Walgreens again.

If I could rate a negative review I would! I have signed up for text alerts for when my prescription is done and have yet to receive one over the last couple years. I eventually call to ask if my prescription is ready and nobody has a clue what’s going on. Every time I come in they tell me they don’t have my insurance on file and have to restart that process. I am there every month to fill my sons prescription and my insurance has never changed. They also never have the correct address so when they ask to verify my address it never matches and most of the time is an address I have never lived. The line is always ridiculously long because they are moving at a snails pace. Then when you finally get up there you run into every issue possible. I have never had an issue at any other location. I am done with Walgreens in altoona!!

Pharmacy tech was very rude to my wife. Gray hair with glasses at the Altoona location. Went to the Dr. on Thursday, they said it would be ready that same day. It was not. They said Friday at 2pm. We were busy Friday evening, and Saturday due to our daughters events. My wife was there Sunday to pick it up. When she got there they couldn’t find it. The pharmacist tech said that’s what happens when people don’t put things where they’re supposed to go. He finally found it, and my wife said oh great you found it, the tech replied this wouldn’t happen if people would pick up their prescriptions on time. Absolutely ridiculous. We will be switching to CVS, or Hyvee.

Kathy is the very best cashier! Her customer service skills far exceed any that I have experienced! Thank you Kathy for always being helpful and caring. I shop at this location because if Kathy. I have noticed the customer experience has really stepped up throughout the store. I had 4 other employees ask me if u needed help while I was in the store. I choose Walgreens over the big box type stores.

pharmacist named “kitty” is one of the rudest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. never let this woman help you with anything, ask for a different tech. spoke to this woman for 8 seconds before she hit me with “do you have any other health conditions or are you just crazy.” would happily drive an hour away just to never deal with this woman again. 👍🏻

Terrible service in Pharmacy. One checkout person who was struggling and five other employees intentionally ignoring customers that had been waiting over 20 minutes. It wasn't as if the line was long. I had to vacate for an appointment. Let the manager know of the situation. Hopefully she took care of it. Felt sorry for the lady in front of me.

Me and my girlfriend have been going here for two years. The people are always friendly and remember us. I've never had a problem with my prescriptions here, so no clue what the other people are commenting about, more than likely just your average entitled person. Always a great atmosphere. Cheers.

They should put signs on all of the medicine they're going to require an ID for. In the last 10 years I have never been carded in order to purchase NyQuil so I was a little surprised she asked for my ID. I'm 28 but most people guess me around 32-34. She couldn't sell me the NyQuil because my license expired last month. Fine if she has to follow some rules or whatever, I just wish I wouldn't have wasted 10 minutes standing in line while another lady played 20 questions about the balance rewards card. I went somewhere else and got it in less than 5 minutes.

I find it unbelievable that it takes this Walgreens 4 days to fill prescriptions. That’s a 4 day delay in taking medications that I need. Ridiculous!

The pharmacy staff is so rude. I constantly wait st the counter for up to 5 minutes while there are workers behind the counter doing other things, they can clearly see the customers, and don’t eve acknowledge them. Maybe say “ok be right with you” and if there are 7 people in line, maybe have another person check people out? And apologize for the wait. Terrible customer service and it’s obviously no one there wants to be there.

I stopped doing business with this Walgreens several months ago. Their customer service is horrendous and errors I've seen by the Pharmacists in the last year could have easily got their licenses yanked. Also, prices for standard items at a grocery store are inflated to ridiculous prices. I do not recommend this location at all.

I ohhh love going here.....except when one individual is working. If I see that he is behind the counter again when I go in I will wait to come back later or just go somewhere else. I told him today that he’s the worst. He is clearly annoyed with having to wait on me and three times he’s pretty much thrown my change at me. Today it went all over the floor! Picked up my sack and all the contents went all over the floor also. Done with this individual.

Third Pharmacy automatically assumes people are drug Seekers. I was told I can get my prescription filled 3 days in advance and that has not been the case at all actually been three days probably after. They feel that I'm a drug seeker and that's how they treat you. I've missed work all week due to this Pharmacy

I went and got my makeup done by Abby and not only was she super sweet she also treated me so well. Loved her personality and the way she was able to connect with me while she did my makeup. I also loved the makeup
