WARNING!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered parts. They said they would call when come in and didn't. A guy bought my item as is and I called them, told them to just return the parts and they screwed me $400 for restocking fee when it wasn't my fault. I have called this place to talk to the manager and corporate but no one will call me back. I would pay higher price and go somewhere else to get better service.

Traveling to California in our Motorhome. We had an accident on Hwy 35 near Story City. Tow truck driver suggested Truck Center Companies, could not have been a better choice. They work mostly on fleet trucks so don't give them a blank check to fix something that you didn't know was wrong. They charged me $400 labor to install a crankcase breather sensor that wasn't bad then they charged me $1400 the next day to replace the rest of the breather assembly. It went in for DPF filters and they did that job quickly and for the most part the price that they quoted before I dropped it off.

Very good service. I had a water pump leaking so they advised me very professional. Thank you Jeff Weber you did an amazing job, and thanks to the mechanic guys who quickly discover the problem and fixed it with no waste of time. They work with the warranty too so I didn’t pay anything (saving money). I highly recommend you guys to come to this shop. Now I am ready to make money.Service: Transmission

Hey truckers, if you don't want to waste your money, time, and be upset, please don't come here..... worst freightliner shop I have ever been.. stay away from Freightliner shop in Altoona IA.. after 3 days with over $6000k most of it for their hrs , they did not find out the issue 😒

I've been to a number of Truck Center Company locations in the country. My latest stop at the Des Moines IA location for a small repair was a terrific experience. Despite the usual long lines of trucks that need to get in at most shops, this one was able to work me in when I arrived in the evening and get me out within a few hours. That enabled me to make my delivery on time the next day, and be home for Easter. Everybody from the service advisor to the technician, supervisor and cashier were thoroughly professional and efficient. I couldn't be happier with the Freightliner service I received in Des Moines. Many thanks from a happy driver!

Worst service ever we had our four car truck in service took a week they missed things on the estimate brought the truck back to get it corrected then they found more issues and took another week they are no longer 24 hours and cannot keep up don't waste your time.Just an update I did give them one more chance and the same results they said they could get the truck done and they didn't they are completely disorganized so obviously your talk with Management did nothing

be careful double checked. If it's under warranty, it leaves you with a surprise. however I'd like to think they didn't do it on purpose. I personally think that I will never reach them again

Broke down on a Saturday. Matt was courteous friendly professional. 👍Earliest they they could get me in was Tuesday. They were able to look at my truck Monday evening. 👍Parts were expected on Friday. Fuel rail kit.Part is back ordered. No ETA on repairs.Not the shops fault but frustrating.Mechanics and staff are friendly and professional . Thanks for the ride to the motel.

The worst Shop i ve ever been & Stay Away…!!!My DEF light started to blink so i got towed here due to speed governed down to 5mph (Tow:1012$) (on Tuesday)Shop updated the software, replaced a bolt and did a regen.They charged 750$ and told me it was fixed. (On Wednesday)After leaving the shop, same problem repeated itself after 236miles.Came back to the shop (Thursday) and they said:“We think its the outer Nox sensor so we ordered it. And it will be here tmrw”Next day (Friday) i went back to the shop and learned that they did not order the part.!!!They said: “ ohh idk why they said the part was ordered but nope it was not so it will be tmrw which is Sat”Part came late and they closed at 15:30 so since they were closed on Sundays than we wait again…Today is Monday and service guy called and told me that Nox sensor arrived but now they forgot to order the Nox sensor Connector.!I thought he was joking for a second but nope!They really did it and now i have to wait till tmrw…I literally spent 1 whole week for them to even order a simple part! They cant even order a part god sake!Btw they were gonna change only one of the sensors even tho they usually have to change both at the same time so i told them to go ahead and change the other one which they already had in stock.This place is just pure horror and disaster.!If you have lots of time and money to waste than this is the best place for you.!I called and emailed aprx 8 different departments at Freightliner HQs to file formal complaints about this location.This management needs to be wiped clean and rehired all again with some decent workers asap.!

Damion in service has gone above & beyond all expectations in helping me.what a great person he is, my reservoir tank exploded due to a bad head gasket blowing me off the steer tire and destroying my hip.he helped me get it towed and loaded everything out of my truck into a rental car for me.I was so impressed with truck center companies I sold them my glider.

This place is gonna cost a arm and leg for a small issue. For cleaning doser valve, they charged over $1000, which I can do it under 30 mins under $20. Wish you luck if you ever get your truck serviced or repaired here.

I only wish I could rate these folks with negative numbers. That is what they deserve. I’ve been in the trucking business since 1981. In those 39 years I have NEVER encountered an organization as deceptive as Harrison. I bought a 3 year old used glider from them. They misrepresented the engine, claiming that it was pre 1999. The entire experience was horrible. The truck had issues upon my leaving the lot with it. They stood behind 0% of these problems. I would have traded back but they refused. Their answer was for me to purchase a new truck from them. Meanwhile I continued to have problems.If one of my trucks broke down in front of one of Harrison’s stores I would have it towed. Seriously.This is the most underhanded, dishonest, group of individuals I have EVER dealt with.Absolute bottom feeders. They all did their best in getting my old truck up and going again. A few snags in the process drug the process out to around 2 1/2 weeks which was very frustrating for me, but in the end all came out well.The four stars instead of five is simply because of the time involved and lost revenue for me. In the past, I've had much more extensive work completed in much less time. Of course we are in a different economic environment now. Aside from this, I have no problem using this shop again should the need arise.Thanks to everyone involved for doing a great job on my 18 year old truck.Update! ....... A bit over a week and 4,000 miles later. Everything done for my old truck is working perfectly. Thanks again to all involved in making it happen.

Beware!Getting pretty tired of the lack of complete repairs, lack of honest communication, etc.If something is wrong they won't just come right out and tell you! They just put the old parts back on, write little notes on the receipt, and send you packing!So, then a driver is out on the road with bad radiator hoses and a bad steel tube.Beware!They really don't listen to what you tell them, they do work that you don't ask for without checking with you.Beware!I need a dependable truck, this is MY bread and butter! I make my living with my truck!I need a service department that cares and understands how important it is to have a good solid running truck, you know, something that doesn't leave me stranded by the side of the road.BewareAlso, if you call, know that you'll be on hold for much of the call. You'll be listening to Craig Morgan A LOT!They don't have enough parts in stock either!Beware

Showed up 4 am. They open 6 am. Went in at 0630 talked to service they had 25 trucks infront of me being just come back from holiday weekend. Told me be late that day maybe next day. They had me all fixed up and done by 1400. Great customer service. Great attitude by all.

One of the good Freightliner shops out there. They diagnosed the problem explained what needed to be done,what it would cost and when they would have it done. They did not try to lie or jack up the cost and got the truck repaired quickly. Even the mechanic working on the truck came out and talked to me about what he was doing. I would recommend this location to anyone having issues with their Freightliner. Honest friendly hard working people here and that's something you don't find in today's screwed up Biden world.

We had a driver broke down on the side of the road in Des Moines with no air. We had to prepay for them to come out. When they did they did not show up with a service truck, they showed up with a pickup truck with a handicapp plate on it. Did nothing but add Airline antifreese (temp was 30 degrees) and charged $441 and said we need a mechanic. We said we thought we hired a mechanic. WE DID NOT GET ONE. Do not expect a road service mechanic to show up if you call these people.

NEVER AGAIN!!! Almost one month to replace a fuel pump and some other parts. They had all the parts a week ago but didn’t do anything.We just got the truck back today with the check engine light and a bunch of codes that weren’t there before.DO NOT use them!!!

I had a very poor experience with this place. I left my truck for the usual maintenance that needed to be done for roughly 1day. One of my mirrors was broken and it needed to be replaced with a brand new one however I had the broken mirror inside of my truck. After picking up my truck everything was fixed however the old broken mirror that was in my truck and the guys that work there didn't know where it was placed was not there when I picked up my truck. In my mind I knew someone had been inside of my truck when they were not supposed to be. I left my keys to them because they required it however, there was no reason at all for them to be inside of my truck, yet again they were and they took the broken mirror which was placed in a place you wouldn't normally see it. I as a truck driver left my keys with the trust that they would be professional, yet again they went in my truck where I had all of my belongings and took something they should not have, which could mean I might notice something else missing from my truck in the future. Very disappointed by the service of a Freightliner certified place.

They fixed what Ryder couldnt after 3 tries and all was going well till it broke down in Madison Wisconsin due to a clamp failure. Not sure if its their fault for screwing up the clamp or just a bad clamp. It was a nightmare getting back and I still have to get back there to pick it up. It had more issues after getting it back from Wisconsin and they finally got it working great. Have had no issues for months.
