Very helpful and friendly. Aquariums were crystal clear with lively fish. We bought about a dozen fish of different species and all survived. Definitely a fun place to browse.

Pet Kingdom is a great pet store. It always carries a large variety of items for all kinds of pets. Fantastic knowledge staff. Groomer does a terrific job.

This pet store has a very cool vibe and is set up different than most pet stores. You get that coffee shop “come hang out” feeling. It’s the kind of place where they would know you by name and what you your pet needs are. The staff was super friendly with knowledgeable about the animals and products s they carry. They also have a nice selection of live feeders (crickets & meal worms) at a decent price. I went in for crickets and meal worms and was very pleased with the number of crickets I got. Petco or Pet Smart will count out exactly 3 dozen crickets but at Pet Kingdom the crickets were much larger and she gave me twice as many as I ordered. I would definitely go there before going to a big name pet store.

First time visitor yesterday. What a great discovery! They offer a selection that rivals large, national chains in a pleasant, well organized store. The staff is knowledgeable, available but not hovering and super helpful. They have baskets for easy shopping; I could have used a cart in this store! You'd expect to pay premium prices in a boutique/specialty shop like this. I was pleasantly surprised with my total ... very affordable. Well worth making the drive to Algona for a visit!

The most amazing pet store I've ever been in. We now live in Cedar Rapids but this is a MUST SEE if you are a pet lover within driving distance! Staff is friendly and all of the products are amazing quality!

Very patient and caring staff. Very active and healthy looking fish(the reason I went there). Very organized and clean store. I seen a variety of other happy animals. Need more stores like this. Definitely coming back again.

They make homemade dog treats, that they have set up, like a little bakery. Besides, a cool coy pond, right as you walk in. Also, the sales associates were very helpful, informative, and friendly. 🐶🐱

This place always has creative, unique stuff other pet stores don't. The leashes, toys, dog jackets, etc always seem like good quality. Highly recommend!

The only pet store for miles and friendly staff on top of it. I hate waiting on Amazon and like to shop local so I go here to buy my turtle food and supplies and they always have what I need. I want a ferret though maybe y'all could get some of those.
