Clean store, nice friendly employees. They go above and beyond on grocery pick up and delivery. Fantastic customer service. I had a broken item on pick up and they brought a replacement out to my home! Definitely wasn't expecting that. Mary Jo does a great job with grocery orders and comminication. She is postitive and pleasant to work with! Highly recommend.

I had to wait twice for a cashier. I do not like the self check outs I believe they are a waste of my time. Don't believe it's my job to understand what type of produce and/or what the produce number is needed to enter in manually.

Not a very friendly staff, not very pleasant when I needed help with self check out. Sale item didn't ring up on sale. Items on sale were not available at this store.

Three stars because the building is a bit rundown for the brand. 5-stars for the helpful people that are employed there! Lots of patrons are without masks during this COVID-19 pandemic. All employees had masks on. I was greeted several times at the pharmacy and that crew was amazing!

This is my hometown Hy-vee store. It is full of friendly helpful employees. Everyone on the floor is polite and kind. There is room for improvement making sure the prices are correct and making sure produce rings up correctly. I do the majority of my grocery shopping here.

The grocery part is good. But the pharmacy is the best. All the ladies are so helpful and nice. They are top notch.

I have shopped at Hy-Vee for years and there's always a employee with a smile to help you. And they have people at the register unlike Walmart. I was at the Indianola Walmart on Wednesday and my Cart was full and not the one register was there a person running it.an employee checked my stuff thru self checkout. And I told her that I would never be back in that store again. And I had a total of 185 dollars worth of stuff. I will stop going to Walmart because of this. I will go to Hy-Vee or Fairway from now on.

Always polite people and the deals are pretty good as well. Only once did I have a problem when they had one person on register and I waited in line for 30 mins to check out. Other than that its been good

Nice place with friendly helpful employees. Great cafeteria for a change in your dining routine before doing your grocery shopping. Like they say, a helpful smile in every isle.

Nice store, nice employees but it gets confusing as there's 2 meat- cheese sections. I think I've alread looked and had my choices selected from 1st sandwich meat- cheese selections then the last "odd" #'d isle has the things that I really was looking for to start with.

Not a big Hy-Vee like in Des Moines, but the staff is very helpful and will try to get in what you are looking for. The kitchen makes great food. The prices are good and the store is clean.

The staff is friendly and the store is clean and has many options to choose from. The problem is there is no real competition in town. I can go to Centerville or Ottumwa HyVee and buy the same products much cheaper. The A&E milk is even cheaper at the convenience store!

Good staff working in the pharmacy & kitchen however the steam table wells need cleaning..and the entire case it sits in desperately needs to be cleaned & sanitized for compliance in regards to state health code..foods need to be temped on a regular basis.

Really poor selection and high prices compared to all the other stores run by this company in the rest of the state. We went to Ottumwa rather than rely on the Albia store while vacationing at Lake Rathbun.
