Bella was pretty sick when I came in. I was very concerned and was so happy with the quick, professional and compassionate care she received. The staff, nurse and Dr. Ethan took time to listen to all my concerns. Once the xray was complete and it was determined she had severe lung issues Dr. Ethan sent her to pharmacy to get an immediate dose of meds going. I can report today, that I see such a wonderful difference in my sweet girl. She is feeling so much better. I will continue my care here in the future. Everyone was so professional and courteous. Thank you!

Ginger my 16 lb. Yorkshire Terrier female had an ACL in her right hind leg repaired 10 weeks ago and received a clean bill of health last Friday. She was also due for a vaccination and bloodwork. Everything went smoothly. The Animal Health Center of Albia provides excellent care and support for Ginger via Lisa and all the caring members of the support staff. We are grateful!

We called yesterday because our cat was in a lot of pain and would not move, he we as just meowing in pain. The girl we talked to was rude and no help at all. We understand that the vet can't be there all the time. We called to ask if they was open and she said yes and what we needed. She said that the vet wasn't in and we asked if he would be later or even TMR. She asked what out name was and than said as a matter of factly we have no openings today or tomorrow. Thank goodness for our normal vet was in the next morning now. he is at the vet fighting for his life with urinary blockage. Not sure if he will make it threw. We understand that the vet has a life and can't be there all the time. The problem is the girl was overly rude and she didn't want to help at all or even try she just seemed annoyed we even called.

We’ve always had a great experience at Garvers. They have cared for our large and small animals. Lisa was great taking care of my diabetic dog with glaucoma. I always got an appointment when I needed one. Everyone is so friendly!

We didn't know what to expect because we were new to the area. It's been 3 years now and we couldn't be more pleased with the veterinarians and the staff. Our dogs have had everything from vaccines, teeth cleaning, spa days, kennel sleep overs, knee surgery and breast cancer surgery.We trust that the veterinarians help us make the best decisions for our dogs and they have the skills to keep our dogs healthy and comfortable. We are obviously very happy with this clinic.

We love the staff at Garver’s Animal Health Center! From the veterinarians to the girls behind the desk everyone is always friendly and helpful! Between our cattle herd and pack of dogs we have seen each of the Doctors and are comfortable seeing any one of them. We know that we will be getting the best care around.

We have used Garver’s Animal Health since they opened their door. We have many dogs and they are part of our family. Lisa knows our dogs personally from the time they are puppies and never forgets them or their little personalities. She is kind and loving to our dogs and very understanding of any concerns we may have. She came to our home at a very difficult time and helped us lovingly let one of our precious dogs go....I will be forever grateful. The staff at Garver’s is terrific and always go out of their way to help with appointments, special food orders, medications and are always so pleasant to visit with while visiting the office. We drive from osky to albia to vet here even though we have plenty of options here in town! We just love them, staff is so nice as well, we have two special needs cats, one being a sphynx and they seemed knowledgeable on the breed unlike some places he has been. Very happy and worth the drive!

We moved and we still make the drive to Garvers because they are so good with our dogs. We’re they’re every six months and the ladies there are so kind and patient with our pups, very easy to get an appointment, and we never have to wait when we get there. Highly recommend!

We have been trusting Garver's to take care of our German Shepherds for over 12 years. We breed and sell working line Shepherds. From 3 days old when we bring them in for dew claw removal until we send our pups to there new home, we trust our dogs to Garver's. We also trust our cats and horses to the great vets and staff. They go out of there way to accommodate our needs any time of the day or night.

We recently boarded our lab during an out of town trip at the Albia location. During her stay she received an annual checkup including vaccine updates. All staff we encountered were extremely helpful and accommodating. This was our first visit to the clinic, but will not be our last! Thanks much!

My Abagail is ill. The care that she has received by her Vet, Lisa, has been outstanding. She has taken into account Abagail's history of being a confident to me. Lisa has truly gone outside of the box to take care of Abagail. With compassion and steady hand she cares. Lisa's staff are better than most.Abigail's future is still uncertain. But not because Lisa hasn't tried it all.

I have used Garver’s Animal Health Center from day one! As a English Mastiff breeder it is extremely important to me to have a vet that is always current on giant breeds & always doing research to keep up with all the changing advancements. Dr Lisa is the best vet for my English Mastiffs! Dr. Ryan & Dr. Dewy are my next go to vets if Dr. Lisa is unavailable. Lisa, Ryan & Dewy are kind, caring, & very understated of any questions or concerns I have. Lisa is always willing to make arrangements to fit my dogs needs! The staff at Garvers is second to none! They will help you anyway they can! I can’t say enough great things about Garvers’s & their staff!

3 weeks ago My daughter had to have her cat put to sleep and we have yet been able to pick up his ashes. She has called and called and we still havent been able to get them. We dont understand why its taking so long for them to call us at the Albia vet to pick up our cats ashes. The vet she was nice and seemed to care about our cat. Was honest there was nothing to help our precious fur baby. We miss him so much. So not getting to bring his ashes home is very heartbreaking for all of us.We arnt understanding what the hold up is and why they havent called us to get his ashes. She was told last wed or thur and still nothing. We want him home with us not being at same strange place. If someone could explain to us why our baby isnt home with us by now after 3 weeks I would sure like to know why. To leave us hanging like this after losing our fur baby is just wrong. No calls nothing. So wrong.!!!!!!!

I took in an old, sick barn cat who appeared to be on the edge of death. Ryan fixed him up in less than 20 minutes and Tom is on the road to recovery. I am always grateful for the care my pets receive at Garvers. Everyone there is nice too, from those manning the desks to the aids to the vet's.

The vets are so nice- the front counter girls and vet techs are also super friendly- we have had all of our pets there- cats and dogs- they always fix them up- get us in quickly- and have even stayed late to see a sick puppy- they sent us paw prints and a card when we lost a dog- very kind.
