Nice, clean store. But, they really need to offer more organic produce. As a vegetarian, there isn't much clean (without preservatives, herbicides, or pesticides) food to buy.

Most items are far more expensive than those at Hy-vee. 9x out of 10 I hit Hy-vee instead, as an Adel resident.

Once I was able to find my way around, I was able to find everything I was needing. The reason being: they recently did some remodeling & changed the isles around since I was last there. So being used to the way it originally was, I had a hard time finding exactly what I was looking for. Had to back track many times. LoL ... But there were many employees stocking, etc, so was easily able to find someone to ask help from.I think everything will be great, once I get used to the new set up !

9/2023. Corey and Jeff have great staff. Store is always clean and well stocked.11/22 Staff is always helpful, and store is generally well stocked. The meat market has a great selection and is reasonably priceced for the inflation of 2021-22. The events of 2020 through the current times have left all stores with gaps in items and rising costs. Inflation is not the fault of the producers of our food, nor is it this grocery store, but of other outside forces.

Nice grocery store for a small town. People here were so friendly and helpful. They still take your groceries to your car for you. Amazing. Not like the big city grocery stores. Prices are high but that's everywhere right now.

My wife and 2 kids just moved here from Arkansas. Could not of hit a better jackpot than to have this grocery store as our home. Friendly, helpful folks, will help carry your groceries to your car ever time! That is so helpful to my wife. I personally, love the meat 🍖 department. Stays open way later than I expected. Thought we had to rush after work to get lunch meats cut. Thank you to the managers for treating your staff with respect and helping them. It shows and greatly appreciate you and all the employees at Fare Way.

They upgrading the front but it doesn't hinder your shopping movements. Their meat is the best hands down! Ordering online is available however the prices seem higher than what I see in the storeSometimes I think I would try this when I don't feel well and want to go and get right back. Over all my parsonal best choice for my grocery needs!

I LOVE this store! I am so glad Fareway came to Adel. It makes my shopping so much easier. The meat department can't be beat! Everyone is so friendly and helpful! I love the new freezer and cooler sections. I love the extended produce department! Thank you Fareway!

It's a bit pricey and less variety but the new lay out is fantastic and as soon as they get the floor finnished so your not slipping your cart off the edge constantly it will be a welcome adjustment.

This is the best grocery store in the county and for counties to the east and west. Helpful staff, good selection, and small enough to get people through in a decent manner. Also, best meat quality of any grocery store you care to name.

Fairway has always been a good place to shop. Outside of concern after seeing how much our people are paying for their meat. I believe the employees do an excellent job of keeping things positive.

Fareway grocery store is the best in Adel, IA. Always kind, quick to respond when I need help. They don't point to a direction when telling me where my product is located, they walk me to the place on the shelf. Great meats too.

Very good prices and friendly service. Meat department is the best! Produce is a little light on selection, but it's a small store, so you can't expect the same as the mega stores.

We needed to get a lot of meat at this Fareway & it is by far the best grocery store I've been in! Everyone from the meat department to the cashier to the young man who took our groceries to the car was so friendly & helpful. This is the store I will shop at!

Never again. I have bought meat here a dozen times and it just keeps getting worse. The last ribeyes were cut in a wedge making it impossible to cook even. And, as an added insult, the meat was so tough we couldn't chew it. Maybe that is how they still make money matching a competitor's price. What happened to Fairway quality and pride?

Very expensive and half the time you don’t have things in stock on sale (ex: pop). The only “up” side is convenience…if you want to pay a fortune.
