Employees were great and friendly. Store itself was a mess, boxes everywhere along with shopping carts holding the boxes in front of the shelves making it hard to get to products. The floors were absolutely filthy and pry haven’t been swept or mopped in months.

They are such a great team!!! I stop for things at this store particularly just because of the comfortable atmosphere. After working all day its nice to end it with such a great customer experience. Thank you for showing their is still good customer service these days.

Never stocked well. Front entrance looks like it is never cleaned. I feel like I need to go clean up after them. Shelves empty most of the time the items are on a cart to be stocked but just doesn't seem to happen. Seems like they habe a hard tome keeping help. The ones they keep are the ones that need to go.

Stopped in to grab a few things at 1pm on a Friday. Only one employee was working and she was outside smoking when I pulled in. There were MANY bare shelves to the point I thought they were going out of business! Boxes and half-filled carts were in nearly every aisle along with trash. Both of their bathrooms were out of order! I was told some kids came in and busted the toilets. I had to walk to a neighboring business to use theirs. When I returned the same lone employee was outside smoking again. She quickly put her cigarette out and held the door for me verbally welcoming me back. When I walked up the check-out lane once again she was outside smoking! Although she immediately saw me through the front window and hurried in to ring me up, I will not be back. Just a real tacky experience!

They have been working hard to get the store back to normal. I appreciate Michael and the other girls and the nice man that all work there during this pandemic. It makes me angry when people ignore the mask requirement. How hard is it to be considerate of others you inconsiderate Maskholes?

Family dollar, Adel is usually dirty. Today was worse. Shoes and clothes were on the floor. Shelves not stocked. None of the aisles were faced up. If employees faced up 3 aisles each before they left, nor only would the store present better but sales would increase. Employees are always friendly and helpful.

The store looks terrible. There are boxes and junk in every isle. The shelves are bare. This store got a remodel and then it went to hell in a hand basket. You can't find anything you're looking for and people are not going to continue to come in when it's in this condition. Someone needs to take care of it and soon.

Can’t give them zero stars. Place is filthy and what they have is poor quality. We will never go there again. It’s not been cleaned since they opened it. What a shame! We will be going to the new Dollar General in Dallas Center from now on.

Never cleanI made a comment today about this and was told it does get cleanI asked when, last time was February and today is Aug 28th. Was told they only have 4 workersFriendly workers but that doesn’t make a clean store

The people here are so friendly. Sometimes they do run out of some stuff though.Sometimes there is boxes in the isles but that is only when they are restocking.
