Scott Harkin was amazing! Our car broke down just outside of Adair Iowa and he came and picked us up at 8:00 at night, and had our car working by 10:00 the next morning. He was so kind and courteous and down to earth. He even dropped us off at a hotel and stayed and helped us unload all our stuff making sure we were okay before he left for his home. He is the definition of great service.

We broke down on 80 just outside Adair on a Saturday afternoon. Like many of these other reviews, roadside assistance was of little help. A quick Google search led us to Harkins - Scott picked us up within 30 minutes and had us on our way in an hour. Great service, very professional and friendly.

On a Sunday afternoon, we were pulling a boat when we blew a tire on the trailer. We were stuck on I-80 and called State Farm Roadside Assist. They let me know that someone would be calling me. After an hour of no help, I found Harkins Service had a 24hr #. Everyone else was closed and we called Harkins. Scott answered and said he would be out there shortly. He came out and replaced the tire. We then noticed that the other tires were also dry rotted. Scott followed us to his shop and was great. He was trying to figure out how he could get 5 tires on a Sunday. We elected to leave the boat there and he got it done the next day for a very reasonable price. He was very friendly and helpful. I really appreciated his assistance. I would definitely recommend them. They were so great when we came back and picked up the trailer and the price for 5 tires mounted along with the roadside assist was very reasonable. And the State Farm Roadside assist never did find a company that could assist...

We were on the side of the road with no heat freezing for hours trying to get our road side assistance to get us a tow truck. I called before business openings he told me he would be on his way soon, that he was still at home but would come. He was to us, had us hooked up, and to the dealership in less than an hour. He called the dealership for us to make sure they could help us. He was very kind and prompt. His truck was very clean and orderly. I have to say thank you to Scott and that you were amazing.

We were on the road when we noticed a strange sound. After pulling off the road to look around we noticed the muffler had rusted off and was hanging lose.....not good. We tried to remove the part but there was some bracket that wasn’t letting go. We contacted Harkins Service and said we were on our way. Once we arrived the men stopped what they were doing and came out to look at the issue. In about 10 minutes they had the bracket off and removed the broken part. We were happy to have this taken care of so quickly and their sincere customer service was just what we needed. Great service!Service: Part finding & extracting

We were stranded with a flat on our RV on the entrance ramp from Adair, IA. I decided to call a couple service stations and Scott agreed to come to our aid. Thank you so much for the tire help! Greatly appreciate your willingness to help. AAA was no help! were told someone would be there in 40 minutes, we sat for 2 hrs. Called back and were told they had no driver to send! Terrible service!

Excellent service on a Sunday after we hit road debris on the interstate and blew a tire! We were referred to Harkins’ by a truck repair service. Scott met us at the shop and worked with the (closed) tire store across the street to locate a new tire. He had us up and going in about a half hour. We can’t thank him enough!!!!
