We stumbled upon this place looking for some food off the highway a bit as we were driving through heading back home, and we couldn't find anyone open a little later and we found out quickly that this was one of the best kept secrets in this area as there food excelled past most food I've had, from the burgers being well seasoned and cooked properly, by my standards, aka not a soggy mess... and with there southern chicken sandwich that was probably better then what I would expect from poppies or even chick fil a, with everything homemade and using some ingredients you don't normally see, like fried green tomatoes it created a unique taste combination that was truly a taste experience that will leave you making that detour worth your time many times over, as I know I'll definitely be back for more in the future!!Parking: There is parking on the side of the building

First time coming here food was very good. Highly recommend going here. Very friendly staff, and did I mention the food was great. Everything I tried was very tasty. I live 30 minutes away, and well worth the drive. Gotta go check out this gem.

Very nice farm-to-table place with amazing food! I came to get the gourmet burger or the pork, but was immediately smitten with the Asian shrimp stir fry that was the special for the evening. I did not go wrong! Too bad this place is so far from Fort Wayne (for me anyway, maybe not for the people of Western Indiana)!

We had a scrumptious meal at Roots!! Our server was very attentive and efficient. We got the loaded mac n cheese (cheesy capitani pasta, pulled pork, bacon) all done just right and full of flavor, also stuffed meatloaf (ground beef with ham and mozzarella and tomato sauce rolled in the middle) which was yummy with garlic mashed potatoes. We saved some of our entrees for tomorrow so we would have room to split a piece of homemade brown sugar cream pie. Definitely recommend this gem of a restaurant!! We'll be back!

I’ve been coming to Roots on a regular basis for over a year now. You will always find something you like in their menu. I’m particularly fond of the Black and Blue Salad. The steaks are cooked with great care. Being a rare steak fan I am never disappointed. I haven’t found another restaurant locally that can cook a steak as well.The staff is always friendly and attentive. Ashley and Andrea are my personal favorites.

Absolutely amazing food! Staff was wonderful as well. We were passing through and this restaurant popped up on Google, decided to check it out, delicious pulled beef and cheddar, and pork tenderloin sandwiches were absolutely amazing! Even the salad was top-notch! Passport tenderloin sandwich I've had in Indiana.

This was my first visit it is a great small town restaurant the food was great the service was excellent. I'll definitely be going there alot while I'm in the area. They have daily specials a bar and pool table. Seemed like a very family friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend everyone in the area to vist them for some good food and friendly service.

Roots has a cute interior, comfortable booths, and good parking. The tenderloin was big, the fiesta salad huge and delicious, and the french fries and tater tots fantastic. Our waitress was nice and food came out quick. We came during an off time so we were the only ones there. Love how clean it was, and the coloring page was much appreciated!
