Its a smaller walmart but I love the people that work here. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because today around 1230pm the cart pusher with glasses shoved a cart through a tight area and scuffed up the side of our truck. I only know because I had to run back outside to get my wife's wallet and I heard and saw him do it.

Great, they had everything I wanted. The A team was working today, everyone was very friendly. Usually out of stock of a few things I want and you usually need to go to Greenville to get friendly.

For a walmart, this is a nice and small location. It doesn't have much in the way of space like some of the larger walmart locations. And some of their stock can be limited, but the overall experience is rather nice. It's also not terribly crowded either despite it's size.

Very well stocked and organized Walmart! I wish the one I lived near was this nice. Fishing section was great, the hunting section actually had ammo, and they had more Cricut supplies than a Hobby Lobby. Nice work.

I've been to several Walmart stores (Greenwood, Muncie (both locations), and Winchester in the past week, to purchase scrubs for work. None of those stores had any so, I had to drive to the Portland Walmart. Not only did they have BOTH scrub bottoms and scrub tops, they had several colors of each. The store was also very well stocked with several brands to choose from when selecting a single item (e.g. Del Monte, Freshlike, Le Sueur, etc. for peas) when most Walmart stores have recently just been stocking Great Value and another brand. Maybe, this should my preferred store from now on?

I always go to Winchester. Friendly people an customers just a great place to go. I was looking for loaf of bread today an she said let me go look she brought me what I needed. Yong girl helped me find chicken noodle soup didn't see it. That young girl got on her knees an it was on bottom shelf an handed me 5 cans. They are willing to help. Thank you guys for your help today. 🙏

Half the time if you ask an employee if they know where an item is they’ll tell you were they think it might be located, or point in the general direction… management definitely needs to hire some employees with some people skills. Not to mention the pallets of food constantly blocking the walkway’s…

The Walmart here has helpful staff and a decent selection for a small town like Winchester.My one gripe with the store is the way the checkout lanes are situated. It seems they don't have a lot of room and they are just kind of crammed into the corner making leaving the store a traffic jam.

Very bad service. Came in and was out of almost everything. Couldn’t get help from any staff. The lunch meat was out of date and warm. The yogurt holders had literal mold on them. I was shocked. But heard it’s been like that at this Walmart for years due to lazy management issues. Feel bad for the community needless to say I won’t be back.

Often out of stuff ordered and have to substitute items or don't get at all. Not at the fault of the staff due to covid and all. Last visit though, the girl that brought my order was extremely rude. Other than that the staff is usually pretty friendly and helpful.

We only shop Walmart out of convenience because we live nearby but not by preference. The store is dirty and crowded. It's sometimes hard to find what you're looking for because there is so much junk. The staff are unfriendly and uncaring. I really don't like that they have made most of their checkout lanes self service. With only a couple service lanes there are often many many people waiting in line to check out. It's incredibly inconvenient to self check an entire cart of groceries. Since they've gone to nearly all self service lane I really don't like shopping there anymore. I think Walmart is too cheap to pay employees to provide customer service and it really shows in their nasty attitudes. Meiji and Kroger is a much better shopping experience by far.

I really like my local Walmart. But, I was very surprised that it is listed as a Walmart Supercenter but doesn't participate in Walmart+ delivery. The only reason I joined Walmart+ was for delivery. I can't drive due to medical issues. When I put my zip code into Walmart+, everything looked good so I paid for membership. Hoping Winchester catches up.

Produce selection was minimal. The produce that was there? Was old, wilted and withered. Staff were friendly. Not a culturally diverse area, and is reflected in the staff and the looks of shock. Only one other family of color observed in the store and in the lot. No POC on staff. It was like.... Deliverance

The store is confusing at this point. All the work thats being done is making it seem like a bulk store an it just don't seem as nice an friendly as it was before. Do not like all the metal shelves an how everything is only wide enough for a person to walk through. Idk may be wrong but have listened an heard others say how its not a family store anymore. Guess since this past two yrs we been through that they are making it so it don't end up empty as it had before. Still I or we all liked our Walmart the way it was an we could go an knew where it all was, could actually see around the store an not be looking a all the new metal.
